I am really looking forward to seeing how he develops more independently during his time at the nursery over the next couple of years and seeing him build-up for full-time school when he leaves (which will be a very sad day). This is the best place to begin for his first pre-school journey.
This is a lovely nursery school with excellent staff. My son adores it there and is very happy every day when I drop and pick him up.
Myself and my husband love St George’s Nursery. Both of my sons attend and I couldn’t wish for better care, devotion and creativity. St George’s provide an engaging and active day; addressing milestones and making learning fun. They make sure that both of my sons are happy and settled. Staff take the time to get to know my sons and it is clear they enjoy being there. Every staff member knows my children’s names; from manager to all nursery nurses which says a lot about their welcoming and homely environment. Couldn’t recommend more! We love St George’s, as do our boys.
I love St George's Nursery. The staff are very helpful and nothing is too much. My son is very happy here. I have no complaints and I would definitely recommend.
The staff are very friendly and enthusiastic.
I found the parent app link very interesting, however, I have noticed that some information is related to morning activities and my child only does the afternoon session.
I think the information in the app could be more personal comments about how the child actually performed.
My child has settled in well.
It is lovely to hear about all the activities he gets up to.
She has such a bond with the staff from her class which makes me feel at ease due to the fact she's never been left with anyone else.
The girls are fantastic with her and I couldn't have wished for a better nursery or staff for my daughter to be a part of.
My daughter adores them all and I'm so thankful for everything the girls do with her.
My son loves coming here. I've not had any problems.
My children enjoy coming.
Staff are friendly and interested in their relationship with the kids.
Food options are varied and my kids have improved since coming in speech and social skills.
My daughter particularly enjoys the ball pit and painting.
There's not a day where she isn't tired and ready for bed when she has attended nursery.
Everyone has commented on how well and how much my daughter's speech has come along since attending nursery.
She's always coming home showing me what she has learnt and done at nursery.
Would definitely recommend.
Fully satisfied with the service at nursery.
We have had a very positive experience with St George's (Aylestone). Our daughter has blossomed into a happy, confident toddler during her time there, and we feel that the bond she has developed with the nursery staff that care for her has helped contribute to this. She comes home at night talking animatedly about her day. Knowing she is spending time somewhere she is happy, engaged and active is a great comfort to us as parents.
My daughter's development has flourished at this nursery. She comes home with new songs/words/names each week, the staff are welcoming, encouraging and helpful, they have helped my daughter build bonds and settle in well and are never too busy to answer any questions. Great staff, environment and menu!
My son has really enjoyed his time at nursery, he’s made a good bond with both staff and children. He's become a confident and cheeky little boy who has learnt so much whilst being at nursery.
The rooms are big and spacious with loads of different activities for the children to do and they encourage Children to explore their imagination.
They offer a wide range of foods giving my son different choices which he wouldn’t experience at home. My son is a fussy eater and takes a while to eat, they are very supportive and encouraging when it comes to him eating. Giving me peace of mind that he’s being given time when it comes to eating and he’s been given ranges of foods.
My son has really enjoyed this time at nursery and we will both miss it greatly when he starts school soon.
All the staff are very friendly and always welcoming. My daughter has come on leaps and bounds since attending this nursery.
10/10 I'd say.
The strengths of the nursery are the comfortable rooms and outdoor spaces, the presence of some long-standing staff and managers and the overall quality of care. It has also been positive to see how the confidence of some care staff has grown over time, and that the nursery has helped them to develop into very competent professionals. We feel that children could spend much more time outdoors, and the noise level in the older children's room is quite high. However the nursery has done very well in helping our child with some key skills including potty training and social skills.
As my partner and myself both work shift patterns we find it difficult to have a set pattern with the nursery. However the management are fantastic at helping us figure out how to make work for us.
The variety of food they offer the children is amazing and we were extremely impressed with the kitchen facilities and even the cook is so friendly. Everything is fresh and it actually is. They have an allergy board to ensure children with food allergies are safe and different boards for meat and veg preparation.
I couldn't praise this nursery and their staff enough. Honestly best nursery ever.
A lovely environment with friendly, caring staff who worked really hard to settle in my daughter, including when she found it difficult to come back after a long holiday. My daughter appears really happy there, and I have been impressed with their communication with us.
Overall the nursery is a really good place to send your child to. Very safe and they have lots of activities for the kids to do.

Meet the Team (1)
Working with children is all I have ever known and done since leaving school at 16. I love to see the children progress throughout their time at nursery, and experience all of the milestones with them and their families.
I started working in childcare in 2012 and have worked my way up from an apprentice role, which has allowed me to experience.
I chose St. George’s because I feel like my passion and beliefs align with what theirs, and I always know that if I would be happy to leave my child in the setting I am at that I am working in the right place and that’s the way I feel about St. George’s.
