Busy Bees Leicester Thurmaston

Busy Bees Thurmaston provides a great homely setting, with lots of activities, adventures, games, outside time in the garden. We love the daily updates, giving a snapshot of how much fun our child is having. Staff are very good at being attentive to the needs of every child and very observant of children’s needs. I always get development updates on my child which is very helpful. Three members of staff in particular are all extremely supportive, encouraging welcoming and kind to my child.

My daughter benefits so much from going to this nursery, her speech is coming along amazingly, she loves coming home every evening and telling us about all her friends and what they have been up to. When she was in the baby room we didn’t get as many photos uploaded as I would have liked but since being in the toddler room we see plenty. It makes a huge difference to my day and wondering how she is getting on when you get to see it on a photo. She eats very basic food at home and is fussy, so it’s great seeing her try such a variety of foods at nursery. I think it helps her to share with her younger sister as she has to share with friends at nursery. I love seeing that they go outside every day as it’s my daughter’s favourite thing to do and so important in my opinion. I am extremely happy with the key worker she has been assigned as her experience and understanding really shines through. It’s been a battle to reduce her naps and communication to help this has been perfect!

So happy with Busy Bees Thurmaston. I have seen exceptional results in my daughter's development, Four members of staff in particular are a few that have contributed to my daughter's learning journey she comes home talking about them! They are all shining stars I'm so pleased with this nursery my daughter was at a nursery previously where she developed social anxiety as she wasn't treated the way she should have been, she would scream and cry just getting out of the house however she now wishes and asks to go to nursery every day! The centre director is very accommodating and responds to emails or calls professionally and quickly. One particular member of staff deserves an award for her kind nature my daughter comes home calling her her best friend. My daughter is able to express herself, she does everything she loves and the key workers are quick to pick these activities up and feed back information to us along with pictures throughout the day and updates on what she has eaten.

Staff really care about the children and adapt to their needs. Lots of different activities - both inside and outside. Encourage toilet training. Lots of pictures and messages posted daily to see what the children are doing.

We are kept up to date regarding developmental milestones and detailed explanations of activities which keep us, as parents, involved. Thank you to all the staff at Busy Bees Leicester Thurmaston, you're all amazing!

The facilities are very clean and spacious, the staff very resourceful, and the effort put into creating a wide variety of fun learning activities is remarkable. Our key workers constantly keep us updated on our child's development and share best practices to ensure continuity at home. I cannot recommend this place enough, they are consistently exceptional both operationally and administratively

Our child has been attending this nursery for just over two years. He loves attending and has made lots of friends. The meals are nutritional and different every week. He has learnt a lot and has become more confident. The staff here are friendly and professional.

My daughter has been attending this nursery since June 2022 when she was 10 months old and I have seen her progress so well under the care of the fantastic staff who work there. I love getting the updates on the app regarding what she has been up to throughout the day as well as the photos, which really do brighten up my day. I am also given an account of her day when I pick her up, and she is happy and content at this nursery.

It has been lovely to see my little one go from sitting to crawling to walking, they are as thrilled as I am at how well she is developing – and her speech is excellent also.

I would highly recommend this nursery and will be sad to be leaving it soon as we are moving out of the area, but cannot speak anymore highly of the facilities and staff as they are just amazing. Always on hand to help and answer questions, etc – we have had the best experience here.

My child has been attending nursery since he was 9 months old and he is now coming to the end of his journey to start a new one at school. I can’t thank the nursery enough for how much they have built his confidence to become ready for school. He loves coming every day and can’t wait to tell me all the exciting things he has been doing with his friends.

Such a wonderful nursery. The staff are friendly, approachable and very attentive to the children. The building is always clean and there are so many fun activities for the children to engage in. They change the theme regularly so there is always something new for the children to explore. We have noticed a huge leap in our youngest little girl's development since starting here. Staff are brilliant at giving children individual attention as well as ensuring they engage in group activities. Our girls have always skipped into nursery and left very happy, we couldn’t recommend a better nursery.

My son has been here since he was 1 year old and has been through all three different rooms as he has grown up. This nursery has helped shape him into the character he is and built his confidence. All of the staff here have been amazing and all actually care for each child, which I think is hard to find. I am so glad that this is the nursery that I entrusted with my son.

So far, it has been a reassuring and pleasant experience. My daughter seems happy, cheerful and entertained. The staff are experienced and enthusiastic. The learning and development needs of the children are catered for. Regular feedback from parents is obtained.

My experience has been wonderful. My child comes home happy each day. My child also tells me what they learned each day. The staff are friendly and informative. I always have a great experience and comfort during sending and picking up my child from the nursery.

Bush Babies - Leicester Thurmaston is a very good nursery. It’s very efficient in all aspects and we are so pleased that we have sent our child to this nursery. We have never had any issues with anything and our child has learnt and developed so much. Would recommend to friends and family.

My son loves it at the nursery, the staff are all so upbeat an friendly and there is so much to do. He has been attending since he was a baby and the staff have really helped him develop his independence.
