Charnwood Nursery & Pre-School (Thurmaston)

My daughter has attended Charnwood for two years now and has made her way through several rooms. Each has been fantastic in giving her an excellent start in life. She is stimulated by a well thought out curriculum daily and given opportunities to explore and develop in all areas of the early year's curriculum. She is safe in her learning environment and parent/practitioner communication is excellent. I couldn't think of a better place to accompany me in building the foundations for our little girl's future.

All staff and management are extremely friendly and caring. The children are always happy and participate in a range of activities that I wouldn't do at home. My son particularly enjoys forest school and is always excited about the food he has made an cooked on the campfire. An excellent nursery. The amount of different activities they do with the children is amazing.

Outstanding staff. Outstanding layout of the nursery. Excellent learning activities. Overall I am so happy my daughter comes to this nursery. I would highly recommend anyone to look at this nursery for their baby/child.

This is such a lovely nursery. My daughter has developed so much in the time she has been here under the care and guidance of the staff. They are all highly trained and experienced in the area of child development. It is a safe and nurturing environment.

My son has been attending since he was 9 months old. The care is outstanding and second to none. My son's development needs are met and observations work towards his needs. I wouldn't send him anywhere else. It's amazing.

Helpful and reliable. Always provide a good variety of entertainment and tasks which both my kids always enjoy. And sometimes don't want to come home

An outstanding nursery, after hearing good things I decided to move my daughter here, she was made so welcome. The staff are lovely and she loves every minute at nursery and her learning and confidence have come on so much.

I viewed 4 nurseries and this nursery was by far the best. We felt so welcomed and I knew this was the best one. I recommend this nursery to anyone. Great staff, facilities, healthy homemade food. 5 stars all round.

Also, my son often appears to have not work a bib or have his nose wiped.

I have found my daughter has come on loads since coming to Charnwood Nursery & Pre-School. She does sometimes come home with a snotty nose and wet nappy, that is my only negative. The staff are brilliant.

My son has just started at the nursery and he has struggled to settle in but all the staff in the tiny tots room have been amazing doing everything they can to help him settle in. After a month of being there, he is doing much better, he has started to create relationships with certain staff members mad taking part in activities. He is a much happier baby thanks to the staff who have gone out of their way to help him settle in.

This is one of the really good nurseries I have been to. My daughter loves going there especially when they go out and about learning different things and dancing, songs and all. She loves all the staff, they all are really helpful and caring as well.

My child really enjoys his time at the nursery. I feel that care for the children is really good. I feel he is developing well and I think that nursery has a great part to play in it. I am pleased that my son is part of this nursery and being looked after well. Thank you so much. Please keep up the good work.

Excellent! Staff are very friendly and my son really gets along with the staff, even though he is only here for 1 day. He has built a bond with his key workers and other staff members. The nursery does a variety of activities and my son loves coming here.

I couldn't recommend the nursery highly enough. The facilities and outdoor environment are initially what stood out to me when first visiting the nursery, along with the staff members' vast knowledge and experience. The care that my child has been provided is second to none, and the staff are always warm, welcoming and provide practical help and support when I have requested it. The management team have always been accommodating and have given me advice when needed.

All three of my children have attended Charnwood Nursery. The youngest child is currently attending the setting. He has settled in well since he started in April of this year. All the staff have been so lovely and have kept me up to date with his progress. He always looks happy when I've picked him up. I can see he is learning new things and tasting new foods which shows in his behaviour at home. All of my children have had a fantastic time at this nursery and helped them prepare for school when they have left. Thank you!
