Charnwood Nursery & Pre-School (Thurmaston)

Excellent nursery, can't fault anything. Staff are great and build great relationships with the children. My little boy loves coming here.

My child has settled well in this setting and is happy to go to his room. We would highly recommend this nursery and pre-school to everyone.

I totally love this nursery and preschool, a place that has been used by all four of my children from the age of 6 months until they are ready for school. I use the 5 star and holiday club service. Being self employed it is really hard when you have children. The help and flexibility this nursery has is second to none. The staff and the management are so efficient and professional, my children have had the best start in life thanks to this place, best wishes for years to come.

Amazing support at the nursery. Staff are great and take parents concerns and needs into consideration.

My son has been coming to this nursery for a couple of months now and since then we have seen a huge development with his learning. He's been more confident with walking and is compatible with all of the workers. I feel confident that the girls look after him to the best of their abilities and my son is more than happy here. He's always engaging in activities and thoroughly enjoys playing with the workers and other babies. The girls always listen to any concerns and are always happy to advise. I couldn't recommend the nursery enough.

I am confident that the kids are well looked after. Their learning has come on in leaps and bounds, thanks to the staff, and they're happy. Nursery also improves their confidence.

Charnwood Nursery is a kind and caring nursery. They not only look after my son amazingly but also take every opportunity to take care of the whole family. The communication is amazing and the experiences and opportunities that my son receives week in and week out are fantastic. He has made great relationships with all of the staff and loves them very much. As a mum, it is great knowing that I am leaving my son in such safe and caring hands.

I am happy with the nursery. The staff are great with feedback. However, on some occasions, I have noticed staff speaking inappropriately to other members of staff which I found very unprofessional. Cross communication and interruption with handovers can be confusing sometimes. The SLT team have been supportive and handled personal issues well.
