My child loves coming to nursery to see which activity they are doing that day and to play with all his friends.
The staff are very friendly and helpful. They always make time to answer any questions or deal with any issues. Happy mum = Happy child.

My child has come on leaps and bounds since starting at Silvertrees. He is always excited to come and talks about his friends and the staff all the time at home. There isn't a single bad thing I could say about this nursery.

Staff and facilities are excellent. My children both run into nursery with a smile and barely a glance back which just shows how happy they are to be here and my eldest is full of stories of all the fun he has had.

Our son is new into the nursery but the team have made him feel welcome quickly and have been good at providing feedback on how he is getting on. They update us on daily activities and have made him feel comfortable in the environment. We have been impressed with the staff and facilities and are pleased

Since coming to this nursery, my son has come on leaps and bounds as an only child I was worried he would lack in some social areas, the nursery not only reassured me and put my mind to rest, they knew just what was needed and were so happy to help.
The staff are great, understand and my son adores
them. Management are helpful, understanding and do their best to accommodate your needs.
I'm so happy I choose this nursery for my son to come to.

My daughter joined this nursery a couple of months back and so far it has been such a nice experience. Coming from America, where my daughter went to school, settling in this nursery has been a breeze. The management and her teachers are very sweet and they have made her feel so welcome and comfortable.
My
daughter loves her singing times, story telling time and all the craft work they do in school. I totally recommend this nursery to prospective new children and their parents.

Treetops Silvertrees is a very good nursery. I would recommend it to anyone, staff are very helpful and polite. My girls love going to the nursery and they have become attached to the staff and also the children. I have never had any concerns at Treetops Silvertrees.

The nursery and staff are amazing. They always take the time to have a chat and keep us parents informed of everything. My little boy loves all the staff especially one who he gets excited about seeing at the nursery but all the staff are absolutely a credit to the nursery.

Emma Dawkins

Job Title: Centre Director Joined: 2014

Since working at Derby Silvertrees from 2014,  I have worked in different roles starting as a relief member of the team, room leader, senior and deputy and proudly in 2020 took on the role of centre director.


I have a little boy who attends Derby Silvertrees full time so I have a good understanding of the importance of parent partnership, This means that myself and the team go above and beyond to include the parents in everything that we do and we have built excellent relationships with all of our families.


In the nursery I am extremely passionate about supporting my team with their practice, helping them to gain up to date knowledge and skills.  I have embedded the practice of outstanding teaching and learning centred around the children who attend Silvertrees to give them the best start in life.
