The team at Busy Bees at Chesterfield Barlborough have always worked incredibly hard to make sure that our son feels welcome and at home while in their care. This has been especially true over the last twelve months when things have been so difficult for everyone. Busy Bees at Chesterfield Barlborough has been the one constant in our lives. We have complete confidence that our little boy is being cared for in a safe environment. He loves going to nursery and the feedback we get from his keywords has always been informative and thoughtful. Thank you to everyone at Busy Bees at Chesterfield Barlborough for always going above and beyond for our children.

My daughter has attended the nursery since I started back at work after maternity leave. The manager and the team were amazing at making sure me and my daughter were both comfortable and offered us as many settling in sessions as we felt we needed. Since starting my daughter's development has just skyrocketed. She always has seconds at lunch as she enjoys the food so much. She has an amazing relationship with all of the nursery staff who go out of their way for us constantly. She attended nursery through lockdown as I am a nurse working for the NHS and they were so accommodating and have made changes to the drop-off and picking up of each child to protect them and the parents during the covid 19 pandemic. She always enjoys her days in nursery and comes out with a huge smile on her face and is usually exhausted after a fun day playing and learning with her friends and wonderful nursery staff. I can't thank them enough!

My little boy started a week ago and has settled in so well; the staff have played a huge part in this. They're all very lovely, patient and have been happy to answer any questions I've had. To say my little boy has only been there a week, his speech has come on so much already! My partner and I are both very pleased with our choice of nursery for our son.

Our son joined when he was 12 months old and I was full of anxiety. We don't have any family in Uk and felt really lonely and with no support. This nursery filled this gap perfectly working around our busy lifestyle and supporting us with child care when we most needed. Our son developed well to the charming well mannered 3-year-old boy with good vocabulary and creative approach. The manager is the right person in the right place very approachable and understanding. I think my motherly instinct didn't fail me when I chose this nursery 2 years ago. Best choice ever.THANK you

Lovely, attentive staff who have been amazing with helping my little girl settle into a nursery setting, especially after lockdown and her lack of socialisation with other babies/ adults. They have been so helpful and supportive.

I made the difficult decision to send my daughter to Busy Bees Barlborough during the lockdown. Her original nursery had closed and this was the closest one to us. I and my husband were very anxious as unlike in normal circumstance we couldn’t look around the nursery and we had only met two members of the team. Luckily I had spoken to the manager a couple of times on the phone and she had put my mind at ease and was very understandable and reassuring. Well.....fast forward 4 months later and we have transferred our daughter here permanently. She has only been going since 1st of June and has already progressed so much. She adores the staff and they are fantastic with her. We haven’t had a single tear from her at one drop off, she is always so excited to arrive and just waves me off with a big grin. We still haven’t been inside the nursery and still haven’t met the full team but we don’t feel like we have missed out on anything. I couldn’t recommend this nursery anymore.

Staff are amazing! Given the difficult circumstances, we find ourselves in the staff just go above and beyond to make you feel good about your child. It’s always an informative pickup about everything they have done and eaten that day. The staff will work with you regarding any home routines you have in place or to help establish new routines too. My little one doesn’t always settle easily and staff always reassure me and encourage me to ring up during the day for my piece of mind. By the time I pick him up he’s telling me about the wonderful day he’s had and asking to go again tomorrow. That’s down to the staff.

Amazing, friendly, super clean and extremely safe.

The staff here have been fantastic. All my questions were answered when my son started and everyone was very welcoming. My son has struggled slightly with delayed speech which the staff have helped us tackle brilliantly. We had meetings to discuss his issues, learn ways of helping him and compare his progress. He was hugely out of his comfort zone when he started but has been made to feel so welcome. He is always excited to go to nursery and is coming out of his shell. I am very grateful for all the support we have received so far.

There is a very friendly atmosphere and my grandchild always looks very happy.

My daughter is extremely happy here, she comes home telling us about her day. Staff seem very friendly and the place is nice and clean.

We have always felt very happy with the care given to my son (and my other child who moved up to school in 2018). Any concerns we have had have always been dealt with quickly and communicated well. The staff were particularly thorough when dealing with his peanut allergy which was only discovered when he was three.

The nursery has a great management withe all staff being absolutely amazing. My little boy, 2, loves coming to the nursery and always leaves it with a smile on his face, buzzing with the excitement of all new things he has learned. We always feel very welcomed. Variety of food is great, also activities provided showing a fantastic development of my child. Highly recommended nursery!

My son loves going to nursery, he has improved so much since going. All the staff are lovely, friendly and excellent at what they do. It's a good size room they are in and have really good facilities. I really like the outside space and like that the children are out as much as they can be. We felt comfortable from day one going in and still do now. Keep up the good work.

My daughter has been attending this nursery since she was 8 months old. She is now 15 months. My daughter's key worker always goes above and beyond and has made a lovely bond with my daughter. The staff always have time for you which is important to me. The great thing I liked about this nursery was the friendly atmosphere and the trials you get. They are completely free and you get as many as your child needs to get them ready for when they actually start and because of this and the staff in her room, my daughter settled really well into nursery life. I couldn't recommend this nursery enough, she absolutely loves going and has come on so much in her development. Thank you so much to the staff in the Bombos 1 room for making my child's start at nursery a great one!

What's great about the nursery is the fact you can ring them any time to check on your child and the management will put you straight through to the room to talk directly to the staff who are looking after your child. It definitely reassured me when both my girls started and I went back to work. My older daughter is in the preschool room and again the staff are great. My daughter has learnt so much in that room and has become really independent and confident which is down to the staff and the activities they do in order to prepare them for school. I can honestly say my daughter wouldn't have been ready for school this year if it hadn't been for the staff working really hard with her, so thank you so much! She will definitely miss Busy Bees when she goes to school. I would recommend this nursery to anyone.

Our son has been really well looked after in his first few weeks at Treetops. The staff can't do enough to help.

This nursery has a really warm and inviting atmosphere and all the staff are great. There are so many activities available for the kids, so they really have fun while still focusing on education and getting ready for school. My son (3yrs) loves it here and has come on leaps and bounds in the few months since joining. Would absolutely recommend!

Barlborough Treetops has a fantastic Manager. The staff are great, but I feel they should use more qualified staff as opposed to unqualified bank staff. The turnover of staff has also been quite high since my child started in 2016.
