Busy Bees Chesterfield Barlborough

All 3 of my boys have attended Busy Bees, the youngest two still do and they absolutely love it. They go above and beyond for not only the children but the parents too. Couldn’t wish for a better nursery for them to attend.

Amazing care and support provided by all staff members. Outstanding nursery for a reason! Management has created a home away from home for young children, can’t praise it enough. Definitely recommend getting a place for your child as early as possible.

Busy Bees is a fantastic nursery! We have used them for the last 4 years and the staff have always been fantastic. It is a lovely, clean setting with lots of different things to engage the children which are changed on a regular basis. Everyone always has a smile and are always willing to help in any way that they can. Both my daughters love it there. I think it has done wonders for their confidence and they have learnt so much. 100% would recommend to anyone.

An amazing nursery with really good facilities and a brand new outdoor playground. My son loves spending his days there and I can see him thriving there every day. All staff members are really friendly and caring. I strongly recommend this nursery.

Can’t recommend this nursery enough. Our daughter has been going to Busy Bees since she was 10 months old, she is now 4 and ready to start her journey at big school in September. All her teachers have been amazing! We are very happy with her development whilst being at nursery, in preparation for her joining school. The teachers are passionate about their jobs, and there are a fair few that go above and beyond. We are very thankful and appreciate what they have done for our daughter. I never worry about leaving my child in their hands! She loves going and spending time with her friends and teachers. Thank you! Once again absolutely amazing nursery!

My son has been attending Busy Bees since January 2022. The thought of leaving him at first was scary, but from the initial meeting and the settling-in days I knew straight away he was going to be OK and so would I. Busy Bees is a great nursery which I would 100% recommend to anyone. The staff are lovely and friendly, the communication is brilliant and the daily updates are great to see when I'm at work. Since day one all the staff in his rooms have been great, and his key workers have been fantastic with him and he can't wait to get there to see them! He's thrived since he started and I can't thank everyone enough for everything.

I would highly recommend Busy Bees Nursery for your child, the nursery and staff are incredible. Both my daughter (now at school) and baby (10 months) attend weekly. I would like to give a special mention to my son's key worker, she is fantastic and goes above and beyond what is expected within her role. She puts me at ease and is very informative on collection. The app which is used at the nursery is perfect for me as I am able to receive notifications throughout the day on what my son has been doing.

My son has attended Busy Bees Nursery in Barlborough since I returned to work after maternity leave in April 2020. It was daunting as a first time mum trusting others with the littlest love of my life but it is a decision I will never regret. He has flourished and grown under their care and the relationships he has made with both staff and other children will last a lifetime. The nursery has just had a garden refurb which is incredible and gives the children the opportunity to be wild and free but they also dedicate time to learning and helping development progression. My son has been lucky to spend time in all rooms available and all have devoted time and love towards him. I will forever be grateful and will be sad when he graduates this year and goes to primary school in September.

I would highly recommend the nursery.

The nursery adds updates to the app regularly and you can see what the children have been up to and eaten etc. It's a really great nursery which I often recommend to neighbours and friends.

My daughter absolutely loves going to Busy Bees, she's been going since she was 9 months old and settled in straight away. Staff are very professional and nothing is too much trouble. They've supported us with our daughter's food allergies and even did daily exercises with her when physio recommended she needed them. I highly recommend them.

Both my little ones attend Busy Bees and it’s absolutely fantastic! The staff are incredible and they 100% treat the children like they’re their own, which is really reassuring because you know your little ones are in great hands. The facilities are great and both of my little ones love it there - most days they don’t want to leave! Would very highly recommend.

He has learnt so much while at nursery. I really believe it's helped him grow in confidence and the speed of learning things.

I would highly recommend Busy Bees at Barlborough. My son has been going almost 3 years and loves it and his younger brother will be going later in the year. All the staff are very caring and enthusiastic about what they do and I cannot fault anything. The food is varied, I know he is eating well when he is there and he is learning an enormous amount. The building is well maintained and they have just had the outdoor play areas entirely refurbished.

I haven't got a bad word to say about this nursery. My eldest son started here at nine months old, after I returned to work. As a first time mother I was a rabbit in the headlights but the manager and two other staff members seemed to take the lead in settling my nerves and ensuring my son was one hundred percent happy. From there, he has moved up rooms twice, with his age and development's he has progressed so well and we couldn't be happier with the support we are given. He is now two years old and with one particular member of staff's help, he is progressing into a well rounded toddler. We will be sending our youngest son to the nursery once I am back at work and have no doubts he will be happy and looked after so well!

My son has been attending this nursery for just over a year now and I have to say the staff are excellent. I feel at ease leaving him in their care and I am confident that he is well looked after and has a lot of fun. The staff made his transition into nursery very comfortable, they are understanding and go at your pace. He has learnt so much at nursery and made a lot of friends, it is easy to see that he has a lot of fun from the pictures posted on the app and things he brings home. The parent app has been a brilliant new addition to nursery life as I get updates throughout the day on what he has had to eat, how much sleep he has had and pictures of what he has been playing with. This is a great nursery and I would recommend it to anyone.

After searching the area for a nursery, I decided upon Busy Bees at Chesterfield Barlborough, for one simple reason, the people. From the minute I walked into that door, I felt like I was with friends. The staff are by far the stand out of this nursery and two years down the line, I believe that statement even more so. Four particular members of the team are a wonderful group of people. I mention these particular four because they have been fundamental in my daughter's nursery care but every single one of them deserve a mention. I also want to mention that these guys have been absolute heroes during the pandemic, not a day where you are not greeted with a smile despite the potential risk they are facing being key workers. I want to finish by saying when my little one first started she was clinging to me not to leave, now she leaps out of the car and straight to the door or cones if there is a queue because she loves it that much. The staff are doing such a wonderful job in these difficult and trying times. They go over and above to reassure you and keep you up to date. My son started when he was one, he’s now three and is settled and happy. Initially, drop-offs at the nursery were tricky as my son would become upset. However, with the support of the staff, he now smiles as he goes through the door. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff and the manager is always on hand to answer questions.
