Busy Bees Chesterfield Barlborough

I am so grateful for everything the staff do and would highly recommend this nursery to any parent looking for outstanding care and early education.

We first sent our oldest to Busy Bees Barlborough in August 2022 and she is set to leave in September to go to school. We also began sending our second daughter in 2024 and are planning to send our youngest from March 2026. I can't speak highly enough of the staff and the facility. It's such a fantastic place and we know our children are safe, loved and well looked after. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a nursery.

The management team are amazing too - Stacey is incredibly kind, warm and approachable, and the whole team works seamlessly together. We are so grateful for everything you do. Keep it up!

My child has been with this nursery since January 2024 and I have had nothing but a positive experience with them! The children really are put first all the time and the staff are so friendly and welcoming.

Our experience has been nothing but amazing for our boy. Since going full time from mid 2025 he has come on leaps and bounds. All the staff are so friendly and welcoming, always have smiles on their faces. Would highly recommend. :)

Megan was fantastic as her key worker, really reassuring for our daughter and kept us up to date of her progress. The whole of the Bombos 1 team were welcoming, warm and nurturing, we couldn't have asked for more.

My daughter has attended for over a year now and both mine and her experience has been second to none. There is a family atmosphere as soon as you step through the door. Communication is always clear. All staff go above and beyond. I couldn't be happier.

I cannot recommend Busy Bees Barlborough enough; it truly lives up to its 'Outstanding' Ofsted rating. Having sent both of my children here, I can say with confidence that the care is exceptional. From the moment we joined, Centre Director Stacey and the entire team have been incredible. The staff are so warm and professional, and I'm always impressed that they genuinely know every child by name. It is such a relief to leave Mabel in such a nurturing environment where the care feels so deeply personalized. My children have both absolutely loved the landscaped adventure garden and the free-flow pre-school room. Lately, it's been wonderful to see how the curriculum has sparked Mabel's interest in learning-it is a truly stimulating environment. Plus, as a busy parent, the communication via the Busy Bees app is a lifesaver. The photos and updates keep me feeling connected to her day, no matter how hectic mine is. It's a fantastic nursery that I would recommend to anyone.

Before my little boy started he could barely walk with aid and only speak a hand full of words. But since he started busy bees he walks unaided (even attempts to run) and can now form short sentences. His social development has come on so much and has all been possible because of the support of all the staff that of part of his journey there. I can't praise them enough for all the hard work they do.

Couldn't ask for anything more!

All 3 of my children have attended and they are still amazing I wouldn't send my children anywhere else.

They really do go above and beyond for the families and Barlborough is nothing but the best.

Fantastic nursery, all the staff make my son's nursery experience a joy every day, especially his key worker who every time we mention her name to him he smiles and gets excited to leave the house to go to nursery.

I've recently noticed a huge difference in how he communicates and how quickly he is learning and it's all down to Busy Bees staff - thank you so much!

The updates we get are so thoughtful and confidence-inspiring. Pickup and drop off are smooth, secure and the place is spotless. The food provided is fresh, healthy and varied. My daughter started very young and has a great relationship with her key workers and it's a joy to see her come home having learned new songs or sounds. For the price, I couldn't/wouldn't know what else to expect or ask for!
