Busy Bees Matlock is located in the beautiful county town of Derbyshire. Within the purpose-built nursery, you will find a fantastic range of facilities along with a highly experienced team who strive to support the development of every child.

Throughout the nursery there are several rooms, each designed to suit different age ranges and development stages and filled with a wide range of age-appropriate activities and resources to help your child develop at their own pace.

For the younger children, the nursery offers quiet rooms complete with cosy cots, chairs and playmats as well as a variety of toys and resources for when it's time to play.

Along with the excellent nursery rooms, the nursery provides a spacious outdoors area where children can explore and take safe risks. So whether they enjoy sports or just being outside, there is something to suit every child.

All children have a dedicated key worker, who will not only provide them with support and care but will also update you with feedback on your child’s developmental journey. You can stay connected throughout your child’s stay at nursery by using the ‘ParentZone’ app, to keep up to date with any milestones they may reach.

I find at treetops the care of the staff is of the highest standard. Jack's development has come on leaps and bounds, his confidence has improved too. I am very happy with the service provided at Treetops.

Treetops is a fantastic nursery! All the staff are wonderful and my daughter even refers to them as "my best friends" and constantly speaks highly of them! I feel confident leaving her each morning knowing that she will come home keen to tell me what she has learnt. I can go to work knowing she is safe,
having fun and learning in a structured way suited to her capability! She has been at Treetops since she was one years old (now 3) and I cannot thank everyone enough for everything they have done and continue to do for our little girl! Keep up the good work Treetops!

My daughter has attended treetops for the past year and we have found the nursery staff to be polite, friendly and approachable. They are great with shift workers. The nursery staff are always happy to speak with us about any questions or concerns we may have.

I'm a shift worker so for me it was important that I could get my daughter into nursery on days that suited and at treetops they are willing to help with this! Staff are helpful and if you have any concerns they are happy to help.

My daughter been going here for over a year now and she loves it, very friendly staff any problems they happy to help. Since starting the nursery she has come on loads with her learning and confidence as used to be really shy and quiet.

With over 12 years of experience in childcare and 5 years proudly spent at Busy Bees, I am passionate about creating nurturing, inclusive environments where every child can thrive. I have a particular interest in Special Educational Needs (SEN) and believe strongly in giving all children the best possible start in life.


At home, I’m a proud father in a family of five and love spending quality time with them, which keeps me grounded and inspired every day.
