Busy Bees Matlock

My child has attended Busy Bees for 2 years. He settled well, really enjoys his days there and looks forward to going. Staff are friendly, kind and most importantly know my child and his needs, even those who don't work in his base room, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this nursery to others.

All three of my children have attended Busy Bees Matlock, almost continuously for 8 years. They show so much care and attention to my children around their wellbeing and early years development. The understand and adapt to each of my childrens needs, and preferences. The staff are friendly and they communicate really well.

My son has been coming here since he was 8 months old and we can't fault the care he receives. He loves coming here and exploring with all his friends. Busy Bee's have contributed to his development and we couldn't ask for more. The workers here are great and he has a great relationship with them all.

The staff have been amazing since my boy started. They have been really helpful and patient with his allergies. He loves coming to nursery and has learnt so much from the staff and through activities. Plus we love getting updates throughout the day on how his day is going and what he is eating, Really reassures you.

The staff are always very attentive and know my child's needs extremely well. My child always comes home happy and very much looks forward to attending.

Both our daughters have enjoyed Busy Bees. Now in Pre-School, but having been in every room our youngest has had, and continues to so much enjoyment from her time at Busy Bees. She is naturally shy but comes out of her shell and grows in confidence through her experiences in Busy Bees. We have recommended Busy Bees to friends and wouldn't hesitate to do so again.

Lots of different activities, both inside and outside. My child loves coming to nursery every day.

Busy Bees has always been somewhere I feel happy to send all my kids. The staff are fantastic & my kids always have a great time. I am constantly recommending Busy Bees to parents.

Staff are dedicated to the children and provide excellent care for our child. Our child is happy when here and reluctant to leave most days! The activities are varied + interactive and he has learnt a lot. I feel confident that our child will be ready for school.

My child absolutely loves attending Matlock, Busy Bees. The staff are amazing and nothing is ever too much for them to do. The SEN support is brilliant too. The activities my child gets to do are really good. The staff make sure the activities are engaging and interesting. I would recommend this nursery.

Both my children are happy to come to nursery and my oldest loves to tell us about her day when she gets home. All staff are welcoming and show an interest in my children and their interests. Would recommend Busy Bees, Matlock to other parents!

Nursery is such a welcoming place. The staff in my daughter's room are so caring and she settled so well straight away which helped me start back working. The feedback on the app is great and seeing her pictures, playing mates all day. The manager has been very supportive with invoices and any queries I have regarding my daughter. My good comments are just regarding the value of food ie. spaghetti bolognese and garlic bread (starter and main) and then no pudding.

My little girl has come on so well at Busy Bees. She always has a lovely day and is always excited to tell me all about it. All the staff are lovely, comforting her when she feels anxious or sad. I can't recommend them enough.

We have sent our two daughters to this nursery and our infant son is starting there next week. The staff are amazing - kind, caring, friendly and they form positive relationships with the children, nurturing them whilst in their care. There are always activities set up for the children to engage in and our children love circle time, playing outside on the equipment and fun in forest school. The key workers work hard to really get to know each individual child and will often post photos and observations to the app, so you can see the learning journey. The staff in the preschool room ensure that children are prepared well for school and support and encourage understanding of letters and numbers as well as helping children to follow golden rules. The meals and snacks provided are healthy and always varied. We would wholeheartedly recommend this nursery to other families.

Our daughter has attended Busy Bees, Matlock since she was 9 months old and is shortly due to leave to start school. She has loved her time at nursery and has made lasting friendships with other children and formed wonderful bonds with the staff in each of the rooms. The staff here are absolutely lovely and will be sorely missed by us and our daughter. The building is modern and clean, while the outside garden areas are fantastic. They are spacious and offer interesting and engaging play environments. Our overall experience of Busy Bees, Matlock is really positive. We have always felt confident that our child is stimulated and receiving an excellent level of care. We have seen our daughter’s speech, learning and confidence increase immensely during her time at Busy Bees, which is testament to the hard work and care of the staff. I couldn’t recommend this nursery highly enough.

The teaching team are incredible. Always happy, helpful and good teachers. Keep the schedule varied and the food is fabulous. Their celebratory events are fun and teach the children. Their ability to deal with difficult situations has greatly improved.

Amazing staff, amazing nursery experience for our little girl, to give her a great start in life. We'll be sad when she finishes and starts school, only because we will miss everyone there very much.

Busy Bees, Matlock always goes above and beyond for my little boy (and me!). Nothing is too much trouble and they do anything to make the kids feel happy and comfortable. The outside spaces at the nursery are brilliant and my little boy adores forest school! He has learnt so much and enjoys every day that he goes!
