My son loves going to nursery. We only require nursery care for one day a week but he is welcomed and known just as well as those that attend every day, we are made very welcome.
He develops each week with the help of the excellent staff and interaction with other children.

Our son has been attending this nursery for the past year and a half and we have nothing but praise for the staff that work there. Our son has a number of allergies, and they are extremely good at managing this from a catering point of view and ensuring that he is not exposed to any allergens that he
shouldn't.
If he is ever upset when he is being dropped off, his key worker will always go out of his/her way to comfort him. They are extremely good at monitoring our son's development and keeping us informed through regular "parents evenings" and giving us guidance on areas we could focus on at home. Our personal circumstances mean that over the year and a half we have been there we have had to change his nursery schedule on a number of occasions and Treetops have always been extremely accommodating and will try their hardest to satisfy any "late" changes where possible.

My little boy has been at Treetops since he was 6 months old and the staff looking after him have been great.
It's a cosy friendly nursery, the staff who look after him in Hippo's currently are amazing. They're always friendly, attentive, smiling and make me feel they really care for my son, they
show a genuine interest in him even though he's in a big group.
He's made many friends there and enjoys his days.

My granddaughter has been at this nursery for a couple of months and has settled in really well, all the girls are lovely and you can see they really care about the children they look after. My granddaughter really likes dinosaurs and they went out their way to ensure she could do dinosaur painting
and craft.
They did a lovely Christmas craft workshop, which my granddaughter and I thoroughly enjoyed.
I'd just like to take this opportunity to thank them for being so brilliant and for all the hard work they put in.

The nursery itself, together with the staff, and facilities cannot be faulted in any way shape or form. All are superb and have ensured my daughter has a fun, happy and safe environment, with staff whom genuinely care. My daughter responds very well with the extremely experienced and professional staff
and her learning experience here has been nothing but positive. Would highly recommend this nursery to anybody.

My little boy is 2yrs old and has been attending this nursery for a year now. When I pick him up at the end of the day he is always happy and he seems to learn so much. All of the staff are friendly and helpful. They all know every child by name and are great at what they do.
The nursery is always
clean and well equipped. The revamped garden provides an exciting outdoor play area for all the age groups. It is so reassuring when speaking with staff, especially key workers at parents evenings, as that they know exactly what is happening with the children at all times and monitor their development. We love the photos and wall displays.

My daughter (now 1) has been with Treetops Nursery since she was about 4 months old. The care is exceptional, great staff and all the children enjoy they time at the nursery.
The staff are excellent, caring knowledgeable and a delight to see with the children and to talk to. I always get great feedback
on her day and they seem to have a wide range of activities that challenge the children and that they enjoy.
This is my second daughter that has been looked after here - the first one is now at school having spent 3 and 1/2 years with Treetops.
I would recommend the nursery to anyone who wants great care for their child in the Ashbourne area.

I have been very pleased with my daughter's experience at nursery, she has been going since she was 14 months and thrives. She is now 3 years old and still very content and happy here. My baby daughter who is 11.5 months starts at this nursery tomorrow and I'm confident she will be happy too.

I have used this nursery for quite a few years now and can not recommend any nursery setting better than this one. The staff are fantastic not only with the children but with the parents too. Make you feel part of a family and update you daily on how your child is doing and what they have done throughout
the day in their care.

Top quality childcare! Many thanks.

Current Review Score: 8.5 (8.497)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 8.5 (8.497) out of 10 for Busy Bees Ashbourne is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.9 out of 5 from 4 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 3.6 out of 5 from 4 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.875 for Busy Bees Ashbourne is calculated as follows: ( (43 Excellents x 5) + (4 Goods x 4) + (1 Satisfactorys x 3) ) ÷ 48 Ratings = 4.875
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 3.622 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Busy Bees Ashbourne is based on 4 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 10 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, and then 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews and then 0.1 Points for the next five Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.100, 7th = 0.100, 8th = 0.100, 9th = 0.100, 10th = 0.100) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 = 3.375
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 81 number of registered child places is 16.2. 4 Positive Reviews ÷ 16.2 = 0.247
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
