Busy Bees Ashbourne offers many fantastic facilities for the children in its care.

There is a gorgeous, homely baby room complete with sofa, chandelier and fireplace, where staff are trained by award-winning expert trainer Mary Barlow, from Totem Pole.

The nursery offers a large hall with a free flow system into the garden for children to explore freely. The unique and spacious garden with its own growing area is specially designed to enhance children's learning.

A self-serve dining hall allows children to develop self-help skills. Meals and snacks are home cooked and prepared onsite using fresh produce.

My daughter loves coming to nursery. All the staff have welcomed her and really helped her settle in, she does not stop talking about them at home. Her keyworker is fantastic and supports my daughter through things such as potty training and has really taken the time to understand what helps settle/comfort,
her enjoyments etc.

Treetops is a great nursery full of smiley, bubbly staff who are very approachable and can't do enough to make sure the children are happy and safe. We have been using Treetops for the past seven years for our three children, it has proved invaluable as the only nursery we could find willing to be flexible
for our different work shift patterns. All three of my children have had food allergies and the in house cook deals with this brilliantly, ensuring all meals are safe and varied. I can't recommend Treetops enough, it really is great and the children thrive!

We had recently moved to the area when my daughter started at the nursery, the staff were fantastic during this transition time and really helped in making her feel settled and secure, that was nearly a year ago now and my daughter has come on leaps in her development often saying she wants to go to
nursery even on her days off/weekends!

A fantastic nursery where the staff are extremely kind, friendly and always helpful. Both my girls enjoy coming and always enjoy their days there. Their learning through play is carefully planned to suit the children's interests and my eldest often repeats the learning she has done in play at home.
It is always clean, tidy with areas of play organised. Feedback from the girls' day is always given and is helpful and informative.

Very positive experience. My son has been at Treetops Ashbourne for just under 2 years. He enjoys the time spent there too and never has any issues with drop off/pick up.


I think the nursery does some great things/activities but doesn't always communicate them. Overall, very pleased and a shame to

move nursery when we move home.

I came to the afternoon tea afternoon.
Treetops is very welcoming and the staff are very friendly.
My son loves coming to nursery and has made a very close bond with a particular member of staff who is amazing with him.

The nursery has put two excellent events on today. Firstly the McMillan coffee morning this morning followed by a stargazing evening tonight in which the children have thoroughly enjoyed and nicely finished off their planet learning/projects.
It was also nice for us parents to have time to speak to
other parents and the staff at nursery who do a wonderful job looking after and educating our children.

This nursery is very good. My child has been going to nursery since he was 1. However, he moved to Treetops in Ashbourne early on this year and he has settled in very well. The staff welcomed my son in from day 1 and really enjoys coming to nursery. I highly recommend this nursery to anybody.

The facilities at Treetops are great for 3-year-olds.
The one to one care is personal.

Our little boy started Treetops a few weeks ago and loves going. He has come on so much since starting and is now moving, full on crawling and pulling himself up. The food is great as it is so varied and means he's trying lots of different things. There is so much for him to do and explore in the baby
room. Would highly recommend Treetops and the staff.

My son settled in very quickly and amazingly no tears (yet), which was a surprise as we have spent very little time apart in his first 7.5 months before starting nursery. The staff have all been friendly, warm and welcoming and he happily puts his arms out for them, to go. He even gives me an unhappy
look when I go to collect him as he is having so much fun playing with all the different toys and other children.
The daily diary is good to see what they have been doing/ eaten etc. He enjoys a varied diet and produced his first artwork at Easter. It is airy, light and clean and I've already recommended to other mum friends.

Our experience of Treetops nursery has been fantastic and we would definitely recommend to others. The nursery is a fun, bright environment which is clean and has lots of toys for the little ones to play with and learn.
The staff have been wonderful helping my son settle in. They are warm and friendly
and individualise care to the specific needs/preferences of my son. We love to get a daily diary, talking about his day.
