Our eldest has just finished at Treetops and our youngest is still there. We feel extremely happy with every aspect of the care provided. The staff are lovely they genuinely care for your child and they are very patient and understanding. The Manager is smiley and approachable and does all she can to
accommodate our changing child care needs. There is a really positive atmosphere and all the staff seem really happy to work there. My eldest still goes in to give his key worker a big hug and tell her what he’s been up to at school! All the staff have made a great impression on us and our kids too. Well done Treetops.

Lovely nursery, staff brilliant, very welcoming to the children. The baby room is lovely from a young age, it's nice to have the cots in the same room so the staff can see the children sleeping. Hippos room is lovely and spacious, plenty of room for the toddlers to run around freely.

This is a lovely nursery, the staff are all friendly and approachable and the building is fantastic.
The one to one care my child receives is brilliant, the staff ability to put a nervous/anxious mums mind at rest has been appreciated.
The only downside, in my opinion, is their restrictive short/full
day hours, meaning I have to pay for a full day when I pick her up early as I have an early start.

My son has been attending Treetops for nearly a year. The care he receives is brilliant and the staff manage all his allergies really well and never has he been given anything that he can't have.
All the staff are lovely and really easy to talk to.
My son loves his time at Treetops and had come on
in leaps and bounds.

I am extremely happy with the care that my son is receiving at Treetops. Every time I collect him he is happily sat playing with the other children and being entertained by the lovely ladies that look after him.
The daily diaries are always filled in which is lovely to see that he eats well and is
getting his naps etc.
Leaving your baby every day to go to work is so hard but seeing him happy and well looked after makes it a lot less stressful.

Our little boy started at Treetops when he was 10months. The baby room is lovely, home-like and welcoming with a range of stimulating activities on offer. The stand out though is the staff from the manager, to all the girls who open the front door or work in the room - they are warm, bubbly and always
take time to talk to you. The report written on our son before he moved up to the next room was spot on and it is reassuring that they know him so well. He has just moved up to the next room which is equally clean and bright with a good extension of activities from the baby room. The staff always call you if they have any concerns so I feel confident when leaving him that he is going to have a good day and be extremely well cared for. I would highly recommend Treetops, Ashbourne.

My daughter started at Treetops in Ashbourne when she was just three months old. From day one they understood that she needed a home from home environment and that as a parent I needed the reassurance that she was getting the best care, attention and love that a child could get. It's not always possible
for parents to stay at home so it was vital that when I chose her nursery that I knew she'd be happy and could thrive in her own little way.
Every single day she smiles with joy when she gets there, the staff are so friendly and unlike other settings that I had experienced with her brother, I felt that no query was too trivial, no phone call too much hassle and no dotty moments when you forget to put something in the bag too much of an issue.
I confidently leave her each time knowing she will have an amazing day and I cannot thank the staff enough for that feeling of trust that they have built with our family. Highly recommend.

Staff are very friendly and helpful. My daughter only attends once a week but it took her no time to settle at a which I think shows how caring the staff are. Any problems I have, I have no worries talking to the staff. Communication is brilliant too from them. My daughter is very happy here.

All the staff are very keen, friendly, helpful and loving, caring towards my daughter. We really enjoy coming to the themed fun days, it's lovely to be involved and valued. I have most recently provided materials to help with the building of a big house, loved helping being involved and seeing what
the children do and being a part of their education.

My daughter is so happy at this nursery, and as such I'm really happy to send her. The staff are exceptional and show so much care and thoughtfulness towards the children. I know that when I leave my daughter here she is well cared for, well fed and treated with kindness, love and respect. They teach
her so many things during the day, and we love to hear her reciting them when we get home. Thank you all so much!

When my boy started at 11months of age he found drop off very upsetting (as did I) The Bear Cub staff were always most supportive and reassuring to him. Before long he enjoyed attending nursery and was thriving. There are always a variety of activities to take part in. Use of messy play and creative
scenarios are great for his development too.
I love receiving his latest creative treat- a card, calendar or poppy. Now he had progressed to little monkeys we have the same standard of caring staff. Feedback via verbal and daily written reports provide me with good insight into how he is during his sessions.
Staff are always professional and work very hard to achieve this.
Thank you all staff.

Current Review Score: 8.5 (8.497)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 8.5 (8.497) out of 10 for Busy Bees Ashbourne is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.9 out of 5 from 4 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 3.6 out of 5 from 4 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.875 for Busy Bees Ashbourne is calculated as follows: ( (43 Excellents x 5) + (4 Goods x 4) + (1 Satisfactorys x 3) ) ÷ 48 Ratings = 4.875
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 3.622 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Busy Bees Ashbourne is based on 4 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 10 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, and then 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews and then 0.1 Points for the next five Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.100, 7th = 0.100, 8th = 0.100, 9th = 0.100, 10th = 0.100) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 = 3.375
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 81 number of registered child places is 16.2. 4 Positive Reviews ÷ 16.2 = 0.247
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
