The Orange Tree Day Nursery @ Mickleover

I can't speak highly enough of this nursery. We have felt so welcomed as a family from day one. We have been blown away by how friendly and personable every member of staff is. They were amazing in the first few weeks when our daughter was upset at drop off. Ringing me without even asking to let me know she was fine and took the time to tell me how she had been during the day when I collected her. We're also so happy with all the facilities at this nursery, the outdoor space, the rooms, the activities! I never thought I'd be relaxed about dropping my precious little girl off somewhere for the day but I can honestly say I drop her off now and have no worries at all.

Our son has attended this nursery since October. The staff have been friendly and helpful. They have always kept us updated and made transition between rooms smooth. Would highly recommend this nursery.

This nursery is brilliant, the team are lovely, friendly, and so caring toward my son. He lives it at nursery, always has a big smile on his face when he sees any of the team. Makes a mother feel like their child is in safe hands! Thanks all of you x

I cannot recommend The Orange Tree, Mickleover enough. From the minute my daughter started, the staff were kind, incredibly caring and so attentive. They kept us updated and were more than happy to answer all our questions with no hesitation. I felt so guilty sending my daughter to nursery 5 days as I work full time but she absolutely loves it and has bonded with so many of the lovely staff. The pictures and updates we get are brilliant. Not only this, they genuinely care about the parents too. They work together with us to help support learning we are working on at home as well as supporting us through tough times during nap transitions. We couldn't be happier!

We have nothing but good things to say about this nursery. I leave my little boy 3 days a week knowing that he is happy, well-loved, well cared for and safe. The staff have all been so welcoming and communicative both in the room itself and within the wider nursery and management team. Everyone takes an interest in how we are doing as a family, makes an effort to greet us each morning and say goodbye each day. I truly believe this is the best setting I could have chosen for my child and he has made clear and obvious progress both physically and socially as a result of his time at nursery. We get regular updates through the app about how our child has eaten, slept and progressed throughout the day with photos which are always lovely to see.

The staff at this nursery genuinely care about the children they look after and from someone who comes from a childcare background professionally, I appreciate how rare and special that is.

My son started The Orange Tree in January full time. I was nervous at first, the usual parent worries: What if he doesn't like it? What if he makes no connections? How well will he be cared for? Within the first week, all of them worries were quashed. My boy has come on leaps and bounds and has developed such a good rapport with the staff. Hit personality and curiosity to learn is incredible and it is thanks to the support of all the amazing staff. The effort, the time, the communication, the round the clock care is fantastic. We cannot thank Organe Tree enough for everything they consistently continue to do for my wonderful boy!

It's so clear that The Orange Tree Mickleover is one of my daughter's places she feels safe and loved as she runs in each morning, and sometimes refused to leave!

The ladies in the Blossom 1 room are the most wonderful women and show my daughter love everyday, with hugs, smiles and general care and curiosity.

The activities clearly stimulate my daughter's imagination, play and support her to use fine motor skills, social skills and begin to understand and use communication. She is given opportunities everyday to explore and develop.

As a family we feel so welcome at The Orange Tree, all staff take an interest in our daughter, make the effort to say hello and goodbye and are always happy to chat or answer questions.

Having previously struggled to leave my daughter with anyone, I generally feel Okay leaving her at nursery and know she'll get the care, love and nurture that every parent wants for their child!

I have had both my children attend The Orange Tree, I couldn't be happier. My girls love attending the nursery and here, both developed so much since attending. Thank you so much to The Orange Tree for everything!

Great experience, really helpful and good communication with the baby room. We are really happy with care and service from the nursery.

We are really pleased with all of the team at Orange Tree. Our son has come on leaps and bounds since joining Blossoms in September last year. All of the staff in Blossoms have been amazing, they seem to really care for our child and this makes a massively positive impact on our day to day work etc. I'd recommend Orange Tree to anybody and am looking forward to watching our son progress further.

Orange Tree Nursery have been an amazing nursery to send both of my children to. The staff are so friendly and encouraging. Both of my children have progressed in many ways since starting this nursery. Both of my children enjoy going to nursery which speaks volumes. Really appreciate all the staff - they are an absolute credit to the nursery!

My daughter has attended The Orange Tree Mickleover since she was 9 months old. During her time there, I have always felt that the staff go above and beyond to ensure that the children in their care are nurtured and well looked after! If I have ever had a question or a problem, it is dealt with promptly and professionally. Since moving into preschool, I have been so impressed by the level of provision and the activities and opportunities they provide for the children. Your hard work is very appreciated.

My son absolutely loves the Orange Tree Day nursery, every time I drop him off he waves me goodbye with the biggest smile, which just proves how much he loves spending time there. Since he started in October 2023 his speech and development has come on tremendously. The staff are all lovely, attentive and professional. The space and facilities they have for the little ones are amazing. I have already registered my baby boy to start at the end of the year. Highly recommend.

My little one is so happy to go to nursery, every morning she jumps out of bed looking forward to meeting her friends and play. She is always excited by the new things they learn there and she wants to tell me all about it after I pick her up from preschool. Staff are kind and knowledgeable and develop personal relationships with the kids, understanding individual needs and preferences. Fantastic outdoor space and overall physical setting.

Amazing provision and opportunities for learning. My child has quickly made relationships with all staff. They are warm and welcoming and always on hand to support. I am well-informed of his progress and what he is working on. My child is very happy here.

The nursery is fantastic. My son runs in to staff, is so happy and loves spending the day there. He had a milk allergy and he was so well catered for, when he transitioned back to milk I was fully supported. Would recommend the nursery to all.

The Orange Tree Day Nursery at Mickleover is a wonderful nursery. When my son is greeted in the morning, the staff always have a smile on their face and speak to him as well as myself. They have accommodated well for his severe dietary requirements and communicate with me and his dad. He always comes home happy and clean at the end of the day. Thank you, Orange Tree.

My wife and I have used this nursery for eight years and I would always recommend how secure, professional, caring and attentive the staff are. We have never worried about leaving our children here, it's the trust we have and this is most important.
