The Orange Tree Day Nursery small unique nursery in a beautiful rural setting, provides a magical experience for children from 6 weeks to 5 years and out of school and holiday clubs for children to 12 years. The specialist baby suite is a warm and homely environment where highly skilled nursery nurses with you will nurture and cherish your baby. For older children the nursery is blessed with an amazing outdoor play area where children can freely explore, investigate, have fun and be physically challenged in the fresh air. Dance, age appropriate sport, gardening, cooking activities and languages are available to children. The cook prepares interesting fresh, nutritionally balanced meals daily. Being a child is about learning whilst having fun....!

My son started The Orange Tree in January full time. I was nervous at first, the usual parent worries: What if he doesn't like it? What if he makes no connections? How well will he be cared for? Within the first week, all of them worries were quashed. My boy has come on leaps and bounds and has developed
such a good rapport with the staff. Hit personality and curiosity to learn is incredible and it is thanks to the support of all the amazing staff. The effort, the time, the communication, the round the clock care is fantastic. We cannot thank Organe Tree enough for everything they consistently continue to do for my wonderful boy!

It's so clear that The Orange Tree Mickleover is one of my daughter's places she feels safe and loved as she runs in each morning, and sometimes refused to leave!


The ladies in the Blossom 1 room are the most wonderful women and show my daughter love everyday, with hugs, smiles and general care

and curiosity.


The activities clearly stimulate my daughter's imagination, play and support her to use fine motor skills, social skills and begin to understand and use communication. She is given opportunities everyday to explore and develop.


As a family we feel so welcome at The Orange Tree, all staff take an interest in our daughter, make the effort to say hello and goodbye and are always happy to chat or answer questions.


Having previously struggled to leave my daughter with anyone, I generally feel Okay leaving her at nursery and know she'll get the care, love and nurture that every parent wants for their child!

My daughter has attended The Orange Tree Mickleover since she was 9 months old. During her time there, I have always felt that the staff go above and beyond to ensure that the children in their care are nurtured and well looked after! If I have ever had a question or a problem, it is dealt with promptly
and professionally. Since moving into preschool, I have been so impressed by the level of provision and the activities and opportunities they provide for the children. Your hard work is very appreciated.

Orange Tree Nursery have been an amazing nursery to send both of my children to. The staff are so friendly and encouraging. Both of my children have progressed in many ways since starting this nursery. Both of my children enjoy going to nursery which speaks volumes. Really appreciate all the staff -

We are really pleased with all of the team at Orange Tree. Our son has come on leaps and bounds since joining Blossoms in September last year. All of the staff in Blossoms have been amazing, they seem to really care for our child and this makes a massively positive impact on our day to day work etc.
I'd recommend Orange Tree to anybody and am looking forward to watching our son progress further.

My son has moved into his next class at the nursery and I cannot thank the team enough. The staff make so much effort to understand and meet his needs. They know everything about hi, and our family so they can best support him.
He has a wonderful connection with all the staff members and he looks forward
to seeing them every day.

My son absolutely loves the Orange Tree Day nursery, every time I drop him off he waves me goodbye with the biggest smile, which just proves how much he loves spending time there. Since he started in October 2023 his speech and development has come on tremendously. The staff are all lovely, attentive
and professional. The space and facilities they have for the little ones are amazing. I have already registered my baby boy to start at the end of the year. Highly recommend.

My little one is so happy to go to nursery, every morning she jumps out of bed looking forward to meeting her friends and play. She is always excited by the new things they learn there and she wants to tell me all about it after I pick her up from preschool. Staff are kind and knowledgeable and develop

My daughter started this nursery in the midst of all the covid, she was provided a few settling in sessions but needed a few more as she didn't settle easy. The staff at The Orange Tree were fabulous with her, especially one staff member who is now no longer with us she enabled her to feel comfortable
and confident and bring that cheeky lovable side out of her and will be forever grateful for that.
The ladies are good with the children and I'm happy that my daughter feels happy and comfortable there, lovely nursery.

The nursery is fantastic. My son runs in to staff, is so happy and loves spending the day there. He had a milk allergy and he was so well catered for, when he transitioned back to milk I was fully supported. Would recommend the nursery to all.

The Orange Tree Day Nursery at Mickleover is a wonderful nursery. When my son is greeted in the morning, the staff always have a smile on their face and speak to him as well as myself. They have accommodated well for his severe dietary requirements and communicate with me and his dad. He always comes

The Mickleover Nursery has been brilliant over the past year. My daughter has been previously reluctant to go to any nursery, however, the Mickleover staff was/ is so friendly and caring. She now wants to go to nursery even on weekends!

The staff at Orange Tree @ Mickleover have been amazing with my daughter.
