Since my 2 year and 9-month-old started last year, her development has really improved in all aspects. She loves going and we only wish we could afford more hours. All the staff are excellent and we couldn't fault any of them. When our 3-month-old is 2, we will certainly be sending her to this nursery. We are truly impressed. Thank you to all of the staff for all the hard work they are doing, especially in this pandemic. You should all be proud of yourselves.

Our twins started in the baby room 6 months ago; they settled in really quickly and have loved going to nursery ever since! They get really excited as we approach the door and all the staff are lovely, very dedicated and enthusiastic. The staff post regular pictures and observations on the family app; it's really nice to see what they are getting up to and how they are developing. The nursery takes the Covid measures very seriously which is reassuring. Even though we've never been able to go inside, this doesn't matter as we feel very confident in the staff and happy to leave our children at the door.

Taking wonderful care of my daughter, she really enjoys herself here and the girls that care for her are diligent and caring. Also, the staff and management have handled all the government legislation extremely well.

All the staff are wonderful at the nursery and my daughter can’t wait to go every week. The constant updates on the family app makes you feel like you really know what they are up to. The meals are varied and always sound delicious.

Child 1st ( Bakewell) is a lovely nursery! My little boy is always eager to go and is always welcomed by lovely staff. Everyone is so friendly and caring towards the children and nothing is ever too much to ask. They also send regular pictures and videos of your child which always brightens my day! Would highly recommend this nursery.

Hi. Just to say how much it is appreciated what you do for the children in your care. As a former teacher, I do appreciate how difficult being in charge of children is, and right now, it must be difficult in the extreme. Our grandson is new to the nursery, but is clearly very happy to be there. We thank you for the wonderful work that you are doing.

This is a nursery with a warm and welcoming environment. My little girl initially struggled after lockdown to return to this type of setting and to leave me but very quickly she settled back in and had formed a wonderful bond with her key worker. She now looks forward to her nursery days and is almost disappointed when she can’t go! The staff have all been so kind but are also great at bringing learning into the play. We can’t recommend it enough.

I'd highly recommend Child 1st Bakewell!

Can’t praise the nursery enough! The manager and the team are amazing with my girls and always give them a warm welcome! The ladies in the toddler room have been amazing in helping my daughter settle into nursery and now she can’t wait to go in!

They are also doing everything they can to keep our children safe by following Covid guidelines. As sad as it is that you have to leave your children at the door it is comforting to know every measure is in place to keep our little ones safe! I couldn’t recommend them enough!

We have found that the staff are friendly and supportive. They have kept us well informed of our daughter's progression and she is well looked after. Our daughter enjoys her time there and is looking forward to returning after illness.

I am absolutely impressed by the team in the baby room at first nursery! My little boy started with them in October, and as I expected he wasn’t very keen on leaving his mummy. I couldn’t have asked the staff to handle him better and they went out of their way to make him feel comfortable. Now, he pulls to go and has no qualms about leaving me behind, and I couldn’t be happier, because all that shows to me is he is enjoying himself.

Child 1st (Bakewell) is the best nursery. All the staff are lovely and my little girl loves it as did my eldest too. Couldn’t choose a better nursery, I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for their little ones!

I cannot recommend child 1st (Bakewell) enough. They are fantastic with my daughter, really friendly, flexible and great at communicating with us on a daily basis. The app with all the information on about activities and food is really helpful and makes getting information really easy. Fantastic team.

All the staff are friendly and know my two boys names whenever we go in. They are good at settling them both even with room changes etc, a happy team that do a good job and I feel like my boys are well looked after.
