Springfields Day Nursery and Preschool, where a dedicated team provides exceptional care and education for children aged 3 months to 5 years.

An exceptionally caring nursery - nothing is too much trouble for the staff. My son is really happy at Springfields. The food is amazing - my son eats better than I do.

This nursery is excellent and provides an outstanding level of care. We have had two children attend Springfields and have always been amazed at the teaching standards and the caring approach of all staff. A special place indeed!

Settling in at Springfields was a great process. I felt the nursery went out of their way to help my son settle and make me feel comfortable leaving him for the first time. He has made excellent progress since being at the nursery and I see improvements on a daily basis especially since being in nursery.
His key worker is excellent and my son loves her and I appreciate all the effort she puts into helping him settle.

We have had a child at Springfields since 2012. All the staff we have come into contact with have been caring, enthusiastic and supportive of both our daughters and all their needs. Springfields is a very friendly and happy place and somewhere we feel that our children have flourished.

I am really pleased with the nursery. My son has gained so much confidence since he has joined. All the staff are very friendly and welcoming and always have time for us. My son does lots of fun activities. I love when his work gets sent home. When we pick him up there is always a big smile on his face.
I would recommend the nursery to anyone.

Every time I drop off my child I am always impressed at how happy the children are. The staff are always very attentive to the kids. My son really looks forward to the days he has to go to nursery. My wife and I are so thankful for the attitude, care, inspiration and learning that all the staff have given to my son. The facilities are plenty and varied. The development of skills such as reading, writing and he really loves the Jolly Phonics and often asks for it at home. We try but cannot compete.
There is always events and activities organised to help bring different experiences into his learning. We shall definitely bring our next child here when she comes along. The team here are amazing.

Working in the fire service I have no set days for my daughter to attend. Springfields have been very accommodating in allowing me to pick, choose, change and cancel my child care days. With my shift pattern working the way it does this is a huge help to my unique situation.

All staff extremely friendly and take the time to get to know your child, even all the support staff. Toddler room is well equipped with lots of toys and educational items too. Outside area is good and well used throughout the year- weather dependant.

Fantastic nursery! Our daughter has been attending Springfields for 8 moths now and I have to say we are so pleased we chose it. She is so happy and settled here. The staff are wonderful. Very friendly and welcoming. Nothing is too much trouble. Her key person is brilliant and it's wonderful to get
feedback on how she is progressing. The food is excellent, with a varied menu. The staff have made it very special by organising events for us to attend for Christmas, Mother's Days and Father's Day.

My daughter has been coming to Springfields on a part time basis since September 2015. She loves coming and sometimes does not want to leave. The staff are excellent and provide a brilliant but structured 'learn by play' environment. She has come on in leaps and bounds in all aspects of her development
including speech, personality, confidence and she is also very sociable. The facilities are excellent and extra curricular activities are also offered like ballet and french. Overall a fantastic place for my daughter to be!

Staff are all lovely, kind and caring and really seem interested in my daughter and want her to settle in well at nursery. Facilities are fantastic, lots of lovely toys and great garden. All clean and well kept.

This is my daughter's first nursery and I was very worried about her settling in. However "everyone" and all her key workers made her and me comfortable. They are my child's second family. Very trustworthy, comforting and were able to accommodate her needs. She has learnt Ballet and French and has become
socially aware in terms of her vocabulary and interaction with others ever since she has joined the nursery. I travel 2 and a half hours to get her here and I am very happy with her development and progress. BIG THANK YOU FOR ALL THE SUPPORT.

Job Title: Nursery Manager

Helen joined Bright Horizons Springfields Nursery in 1992 as a student whilst completing National B-Tec, gaining a full-time position in June 1994 as Nursery Nurse.


After a year she left for 8 months to become a Nanny and gain experience in a different job role, however, decided that Springfields and the early years was the career she wished to pursue. She came back to Springfields in October 1995 and worked her way up, becoming Nursery Manager in 2001.


In her spare time she loves spending time with her family.

Jade

Job Title: Deputy Manager

Jade began her career at Bright Horizons Springfields as a student, completing her college placement there when she was 18 years old. She then started working full-time at Bright Horizons Springfields in 2013 as a nursery nurse.


She has progressed through various positions, from room leader to third in charge, and finally to Deputy Manager, a role she has held for over two years. Additionally, she has been the designated SENCO contact at the nursery for over three years and holds a Level 3 SEND qualification.
