Open 7.30am-6pm Monday to Friday – all year round only closing for bank holidays and a week over Christmas.

Tinkerbells offers much more than childcare—providing a warm, enriching environment where children aged 0–5 can grow, explore, and thrive. Tinkerbell's holistic approach supports children's emotional, physical, social, and intellectual development, nurturing confident, kind, and curious learners.

The curriculum is broad, creative, and hands-on. Children enjoy Forest School, woodwork, gardening, expressive arts, yoga, and healthy eating, while a dedicated art studio and library inspire imagination and a lifelong love of books. The nursery uses Makaton to support inclusive communication and embed the Kindness Code in all they do.

Central to Tinkerbells ethos is a dedicated team of early years practitioners, passionate about understanding and meeting the unique needs of every child and family, building strong, respectful partnerships with parents, working together to ensure each child feels safe, valued, and empowered.

Tinkerbells see children as capable individuals who flourish when given time, space, and trust to lead their own learning. When they leave the nursery, children are not only ready for school, but equipped with the confidence, compassion, and curiosity to thrive in life.

As part of the ‘out of school’ provision, the nursery offers breakfast and after-school clubs and transport to and from some local schools. During school closures the nursery also offers holiday club facilities.

I am very satisfied with this nursery. My little girl was very happy from the beginning. From the first days, she settled down. They do a lot of activities here. She learned a lot. She is a different child, much more open and sociable.
In general, I am very satisfied with this nursery and would not
go anywhere else.

Tinkerbells Nursery have been very supportive and understanding in order to meet my son's needs. They have regularly kept in contact with us to keep us updated with our son's development and they have been working hard to improve his speech and language skills. Our son had a hard time settling in at
first however with the constant encouragement and support to arrange suitable timings for him have given a positive outcome. He loves his days at Tinkerbells and we are really happy with the service from Tinkerbells. Thank you very much.

Both of my children have been to Tinkerbells Nursery and they absolutely love it.
My son has moved on to school and still asks when he can go back to Tinkerbells.
All the team there really care about the children and keep me updated on everything my daughter is doing throughout the day and my daughter
comes out smiling and so happy.
I would highly recommend this nursery to everyone.

Absolutely amazing nursery. Cannot fault it in the slightest. My child adores the setting and the staff and most importantly I feel very confident leaving my child there and confident that he is safe, looked after and having the best time. All of the staff are super friendly and their communication
is fantastic whether it be between other staff members or family of the children. They're always working together with families to ensure the best care for each child and meeting the needs of the child in their care!

My little boy has been attending the day nursery for six months now and has come on leaps and bounds. All the staff are friendly, caring and create a really happy, safe and inclusive environment for the children. The educational provision is fantastic, as are the freshly cooked meals. One child is currently in the nursery and another has finished but still uses the holiday club. Cannot fault the care that my children have received and the help I've experienced with Tinkerbells. Would recommend them. Love the app with the little pictures, you get updates.

Amazing nursery! My three daughters have all attended this nursery with the youngest coming to her final few months before she starts school. Since starting she's learnt so much and her confidence has rocketed sky high! Love the impact the staff have had on her and I truly feel that my daughter is in

My two children attend Tinkerbells and they both love it! My daughter has come on so much since attending and engages in so many fun activities to aid her learning and development.
My son has Special Educational Needs and the nursery team has been amazing with him, they always listen to what challenges
we are facing and the Special Educational Needs Coordinator is amazing and is very hands-on with getting support in place and filling in endless forms. The girls adore my son and he does them and it's so comforting to know he's in very safe hands and they provide the best care tailoring to his every need all while encouraging his learning.

My son goes to after school club three days a week. He absolutely loves it and isn't happy when I pick him up early. The staff are fab, especially one staff member who my son thinks highly of. They have yummy food he says and they do loads of activities. Couldn't praise them enough as my son is so happy
there! Loads of fun outside with plenty of outdoor space they play football with each other.

My daughter started in the nursery room at the beginning of January 2023, and the way she has settled is everything we could have wished for. The staff are beyond friendly and so accommodating to my daughter's likes/dislikes and needs. The updates we are given are precise and very comforting. Communication

My daughter really wasn't sure about leaving me at first and Tinkerbells took it upon themselves to offer surplus settling sessions which have made a huge difference. She is now absolutely loving it and goes in with no tears. Thank you, team.

Everyone at the nursery has had an amazing impact on my son! When he first started it wasn't easy for both me and my son but the nursery has worked through it all and supported us both. Our son has been attending Tinkerbells Nursery for about a year now and the care they give him is second to none. He loves going there and if you ask them to keep your child to a routine then they will do their utmost to accommodate your child's needs. He seems to eat fairly well there so my guess is
the food seems pretty decent and it's good how they get all the kids to sleep together at the same time. All in all, a very good nursery.

My son has been at this nursery since he was 5 months old. We had a good routine with him and the nursery, one staff member, especially, in the baby room was amazing with this always catering to our needs and our son loves her, he has gone up a room now but always gives her a smile and a wave every
time he leaves. Since he has been in the toddler room he has come on leaps and bounds. This was also the only nursery in that would take my son as I work shift patterns, so he is not in on set days and I am thankful for how flexible they are and always take my son last minute if my shifts do change unexpectedly, and as I say no other nurseries were willing to accommodate this. I cannot fault Tinkerbells Nursery and I wouldn't want my son to go anywhere else.

My daughter is attending here and is thriving so much, the team at Tinkerbells are amazing. My daughter loves going and has a special connection with each member of staff. I would highly recommend this nursery. I'm so glad I found them. Nothing is ever too much for the team. So welcoming and friendly.

I have worked within the early years sector for 30 years including working in varying roles. In that time, I have continued my studies and kept abreast of the ever-changing world of early years. I have an extensive knowledge of working with young children and thrive on seeing children grow and develop in a fun and exciting environment with teams that love their job! Here at Tinkerbells I believe the staff go above and beyond to ensure the best care and experiences for all the children in our care. I am looking forward to meeting any new families and waiting to see what adventures await us!

Jenny has worked for the company since February 2013 and has over 17 years of experience working within the childcare sector. She holds her CACHE level 2 in Child Care and Education, and NVQ level 3 In Children’s Care, Learning and Development. Jenny works alongside Helen in the running of the setting.


Jenny is our setting SENCO and has completed her Level 3 SENCO qualification.
