Merryvale is a truly fantastic nursery with the most caring staff and nurturing environment. Both of my boys attended here, with the youngest just leaving this year - I can say hand on heart they felt safe and loved by the team and will miss them dearly. The progress reports generated by the nursery are in depth and show that the setting knows the children extremely well - tailoring to their needs specifically. My son who is about to start primary school in September is well equipped for the transition and was supported very well by Merryvale. A wonderful place for a little one to thrive.

Both my kids go here (3 yo and 1yo) and I've only got good things to say. Lovely staff, my kids are very happy to go. Lots of messy play, and accommodate my son's allergies and eczema very well.

This nursery is great! My little boy really enjoys it here and is always happy to go in. The staff have always been very supportive and welcoming! There is a lady called Zoe who also works there and she is amazing with my little boy and I can't wait for him to move upto her in September.

My son absolutely loves attending nursery here! He tells me to hurry up in the morning so he can go and see his 'best friend' who is his key worker. He has been attending since he was 14 months and every room he has transitioned through has been fantastic. All the staff in his current room are very supportive and caring and have helped him with every transition. His key worker has been exceptional. He has formed such a close bond with her and he gets so excited to tell her about any events that happen at home. She always communicates with home. At the beginning he really struggled to transition from one room to another and he refused to eat which was very distressing as a parent but she took the time with him to build up trust and got him to go from not eating to asking for seconds. It's very reassuring to know he is excited to attend and happy for me to leave. I also love the fact that all the staff from other rooms know him and whoever answers the door always greets him by name

My daughter has been attending Busy Bears for around a year and a half now and loves it! All of her key persons have been attentive, caring and have had genuine care for the children. My daughter looks forward to coming to nursery to play with her friends and practitioners in her room. They have so much to do and we love that she gets to explore gardening, forest school and woodworking! She comes home often and will randomly go into some of her favourite yoga poses she has learnt at nursery!

My son is very happy at nursery and always talks about his friends and teachers at home. His confidence and independence has improved since starting in January. The nursery also played a big part in helping to toilet train my son when he first started. He comes out of nursery happy and full of beans! The hot lunches sound yummy. It says a lot when I asked him whose curry is nicer, mummy's or nurseries? And he said nurseries! Mummy's is disgusting! The nursery has great facilities and resources. I really like the fact they involve and communicate well with parents and have themed days that parents can attend and join in. The staff are friendly, approachable and caring. I would highly recommend Tinkerbells!

Over the course of 11 years, all three of our girls have attended Merryvale, starting from just 9 months old until they left for school. We have never had a single issue; the nursery has always been incredibly helpful, professional, and supportive. My daughters loved going to nursery every day to play with the wonderful staff and the other children. Thanks to the dedicated staff, their daily activities, and the structured learning, the girls were exceptionally well-prepared for starting school. I recommend Merryvale 100%!

We couldn't have asked for a better start for our son at Merryvale Day Nursery. From day one, the care, love and kindness shown by all the staff has been amazing, and it's always been such a comfort knowing he's in such safe and nurturing hands. Every member of staff is so approachable, friendly and always happy to help, which has made such a difference to us as parents. A special thank you to Tom and the bears team for the incredible support with our son's speech. We've seen such huge progress, and we're so grateful for the time, patience and encouragement given to him. It's never easy leaving somewhere that has meant so much to your child's early years, but we truly feel so lucky to have been part of the Merryvale family. We will always recommend Merryvale to any family and friends living nearby - it really is a wonderful nursery!

As a first time mom, I was very nervous about sending my daughter to a nursery but Merryvale really helped during that transitional period. She started at 13 months old and I was given regular updates and pictures which really put my mind at ease. Fast forward 7 months, my daughter is thriving, hitting all her milestones, and enjoys her time there. All the staff have been friendly and welcoming and I can see that my daughter is comfortable with them which is the most important thing. I don't have any other nursery to compare it to, but I am happy I chose Merryvale and don't have any concerns that would make me want to leave.

Only feedback point I have is, would be nice being told beforehand if staff members are leaving.

We are incredibly happy with this nursery and the care they provide. The staff are warm, attentive, and genuinely passionate about supporting each child's development. Our child has grown in confidence, learned so much, and always comes home happy. The environment is safe, nurturing, and full of engaging activities. Communication with parents is excellent, and we always feel informed and reassured. We couldn't ask for a better place for our child

My daughter started at Merryvale Nursery just after her 1st birthday. She is now 3 and is absolutely thriving there. The nursery is fantastic. They do such a wide range of fun and educational activities. They have an amazing forest school and grow their own fruit and vegetables which they have with their meals. The meals are also varied and nutritious. The staff are fabulous and always there to give me updates on my daughter's day. They help with anything you ask which was great when she was going through potty training. I love the app they have which gives regular updates throughout the day on what she has eaten, when she slept and nappy changes. I found this very helpful being a first time mom. She goes 4 days a week and she even asks to go on her day off. I would definitely recommend Merryvale Nursery.

Staff are always welcoming and polite, Mason has come along way since joining and looks forward to coming to play with his friends. Thank you for all you do!

My daughter has enjoyed every moment at Merryvale in robins & squids. The ladies have been fabulous and the communication and photos on the app has been so reassuring. My only criticism is that not being aware of major management and staff changes is a little worrying. We hope that communication improves if it were to impact my child directly.

We think this nursery is amazing. We see progress in Ryan all the time and staff are amazing too! 100% I'd recommend to others.

Great experience, staff are great, really friendly and welcoming, great with my son. Food options are really healthy. Activities are really good.

Very happy with the nursery overall - I was very anxious for my son to start but the girls were very welcoming and understanding. The only negative is the food/snack option feel limited for my son who has a dairy allergy.

I have been pleased that the staff at the nursery have been very supportive of my grandsons use of the toilet. The activities, including 'forest school' have been creative and very educational.

Since my daughter started tinkerbells in September she has come on leaps and bounds they all have been amazing with caring for her as she used to cry every time I left and now she just goes straight in. I couldn't ask for a better nursery x

She learns new things and she socializez with other kids every day. And all teachers offer her the attention any kid needs.

Since my son started nursery he was behind on his developments, but as the times gone on while in nursery I've seen such improvement and how well the teachers work with him, it's just amazing. You can just see how much all the staff love and enjoy their jobs, as it shines through my little boy. Very greatful for all the staff have done for my boy and continue to do.
