Open 7.30am-6pm Monday to Friday – all year round only closing for bank holidays and a week over Christmas.

Tinkerbells offers much more than childcare—providing a warm, enriching environment where children aged 0–5 can grow, explore, and thrive. Tinkerbell's holistic approach supports children's emotional, physical, social, and intellectual development, nurturing confident, kind, and curious learners.

The curriculum is broad, creative, and hands-on. Children enjoy Forest School, woodwork, gardening, expressive arts, yoga, and healthy eating, while a dedicated art studio and library inspire imagination and a lifelong love of books. The nursery uses Makaton to support inclusive communication and embed the Kindness Code in all they do.

Central to Tinkerbells ethos is a dedicated team of early years practitioners, passionate about understanding and meeting the unique needs of every child and family, building strong, respectful partnerships with parents, working together to ensure each child feels safe, valued, and empowered.

Tinkerbells see children as capable individuals who flourish when given time, space, and trust to lead their own learning. When they leave the nursery, children are not only ready for school, but equipped with the confidence, compassion, and curiosity to thrive in life.

As part of the ‘out of school’ provision, the nursery offers breakfast and after-school clubs and transport to and from some local schools. During school closures the nursery also offers holiday club facilities.

Since my son started nursery he was behind on his developments, but as the times gone on while in nursery I've seen such improvement and how well the teachers work with him, it's just amazing. You can just see how much all the staff love and enjoy their jobs, as it shines through my little boy. Very

The members of staff go above and beyond for my little boy specially with him being autistic and non verbal.

We are so grateful for the incredible care and support both of our children receive at Tinkerbells.


The Badger Room team are exceptional, creating a nurturing and inclusive environment that fully caters to our son's SEN needs. Their patience, understanding and dedication have helped him thrive - building

confidence, trying new foods and developing new skills every week. The regular updates and genuine care from staff mean so much to us.


The Squirrel Room team are equally amazing, showing constant kindness and attention to our daughter's allergies while filling her days with creativity and fun. She loves coming to nursery and always leaves with a big smile.


Both rooms are run by such professional, compassionate teams who go above and beyond every day. The nursery is wonderfully managed, and we couldn't be happier with the experiences our children have there. Highly recommended!

I can't express how much Tinkerbells have helped through the school holidays. I have a job that sometimes I am unable to just leave and every time Tinkerbells have accommodated this and saved me from being without childcare. I couldn't be happier with out experience at Tinkerbells Nursery. From the very first day the staff has been incredibly warm and attentive. My child settled quickly thanks to the caring teachers who clearly love what they do. Special events and themed days are always fun and thoughtfully organised,
creating lovely memories for both children and parents. It truly feels like a community. I highly recommended this preschool to any parents.

As a first time mom, I couldn't have asked for a more welcoming and reassuring introduction to Tinkerbells when my daughter was 9 months old. I have worked within the early years sector for 30 years including working in varying roles. In that time, I have continued my studies and kept abreast of the ever-changing world of early years. I have an extensive knowledge of working with young children and thrive on seeing children grow and develop in a fun and exciting environment with teams that love their job! Here at Tinkerbells I believe the staff go above and beyond to ensure the best care and experiences for all the children in our care. Jenny has worked for the company since February 2013 and has over 17 years of experience working within the childcare sector. She holds her CACHE level 2 in Child Care and Education, and NVQ level 3 In Children’s Care, Learning and Development. Jenny works alongside Helen in the running of the setting.


Jenny is our setting SENCO and has completed her Level 3 SENCO qualification.
