Open 7.30am-6pm Monday to Friday – all year round only closing for bank holidays and a week over Christmas.

Tinkerbells offers much more than childcare—providing a warm, enriching environment where children aged 0–5 can grow, explore, and thrive. Tinkerbell's holistic approach supports children's emotional, physical, social, and intellectual development, nurturing confident, kind, and curious learners.

The curriculum is broad, creative, and hands-on. Children enjoy Forest School, woodwork, gardening, expressive arts, yoga, and healthy eating, while a dedicated art studio and library inspire imagination and a lifelong love of books. The nursery uses Makaton to support inclusive communication and embed the Kindness Code in all they do.

Central to Tinkerbells ethos is a dedicated team of early years practitioners, passionate about understanding and meeting the unique needs of every child and family, building strong, respectful partnerships with parents, working together to ensure each child feels safe, valued, and empowered.

Tinkerbells see children as capable individuals who flourish when given time, space, and trust to lead their own learning. When they leave the nursery, children are not only ready for school, but equipped with the confidence, compassion, and curiosity to thrive in life.

As part of the ‘out of school’ provision, the nursery offers breakfast and after-school clubs and transport to and from some local schools. During school closures the nursery also offers holiday club facilities.

Amazing nursery and staff, my little girl had the best time over the last couple of years. Couldn't recommend enough. Will be coming for after-school clubs in September as doesn't want to leave her Tinkerbell family!

Cannot fault this nursery! Son has been going there for 2 years. Brilliant and caring staff. The food is reasonably priced and really good. They always have great things for the children to do. The mud kitchen has been a great addition.

My daughter is nearly 4 she's been attending the nursery since she was 1, I kept her here instead of a state school purely because she loves it and has so much fun. She skips into the nursery every time and adores all the staff even the office staff where she goes in every time to tell them how her
day was and to thank them for having a great day. I will be sad to see her leave when the time comes as I drop her off and I know she's safe and having the best time whilst learning new things.

Best in childcare education. The staff are so welcoming and great standard of quality childcare. My son always loves to go to school because he's been treated well. Even his off days, he puts on his shoes and bag and takes his bottle and goes like 'Mama school'.

From the minute we were looking around the nursery in 2023 for our little boy, we just had a good feeling that he’d be well looked after. We chose this one before we looked at any others, going on a year since,he joined, I can honestly say I am happy with how they support him and he loves it every time
he goes in. His speech has developed so much better since being there and the staff are amazing!

Tinkerbells is the best nursery, all four of my children have gone there. All the staff are wonderful and are always happy to help when needed, they have done a fabulous job with looking after my children. My child that is there at the moment is 11 months and the staff in his room are so lovely, my
boy is always happy and is cared for really well by them.

Both of my children have been coming to this nursery since they were 9 months old and now they both attend morning and after-school clubs and also in the holidays. Both children love it at Tinkerbells Nursery and the staff are all amazing and the support they give you and always will do what they can
to help you out, not just for the children but the parent as well. I wouldn't choose any other nursery to send them to and it will be sad when the children are not young enough to go anymore.

I once wrote a very pleasant review about this nursery but it would appear now after several complaints to them that their only vision is to have a perfect 10 score on this website. Several complaints and meetings with management as my daughter, aged 3, was being bullied by the same child. Procedures
they put in place to tackle this problem were not followed and staff left her to cry. Deputy managers didn’t have a clue and seemed less than interested when this was brought to their attention. All resulting in me having to pull my child from the setting. Would not recommend.

Absolutely amazing nursery. My son really likes it. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The manager is very helpful. I am happy that my son attends this place. The facilities are amazing, there is an ample amount of indoor and outdoor space for children to explore. The educational provision is fantastic.

I have worked within the early years sector for 30 years including working in varying roles. In that time, I have continued my studies and kept abreast of the ever-changing world of early years. I have an extensive knowledge of working with young children and thrive on seeing children grow and develop in a fun and exciting environment with teams that love their job! Here at Tinkerbells I believe the staff go above and beyond to ensure the best care and experiences for all the children in our care. I am looking forward to meeting any new families and waiting to see what adventures await us!

Job Title: Deputy Setting Manager Joined: 2013

Jenny has worked for the company since February 2013 and has over 17 years of experience working within the childcare sector. She holds her CACHE level 2 in Child Care and Education, and NVQ level 3 In Children’s Care, Learning and Development. Jenny works alongside Helen in the running of the setting.


Jenny is our setting SENCO and has completed her Level 3 SENCO qualification.
