Little Pioneers Nursery & Pre-School, Ashton Court

The staff are very professional in offering a nurturing and educational environment for our little ones' development. The homely diet and decor contribute to an easy transition from home to the nursery. So much so that our little one gets excited every morning we leave the house.

First steps is an amazing nursery, from the staff, care, love activities and the wonderful journey my daughter has experienced here. She has been nurtured the whole time and all the staff including her keyworkers have always been considerate and attentive. She has grown so much and would choose nowhere else for her. Thank you to everyone.

I was unsure about sending my daughter to nursery and returning to work but when I came to view the nursery, I was welcomed by the manager and staff. I made my mind up then, I loved this nursery. All of the staff have made me feel so comfortable by being friendly and caring to both me and my daughter. The parent app is amazing and keeps me involved in my daughter's day.

Our son really enjoys his time at nursery. The staff know him very well and are always very warm and welcoming. He does lots of interesting activities and he is encouraged to try new things. The food is varied and healthy. When we were looking for a nursery we were particularly impressed by the small class sizes and homely atmosphere. We are very happy with our choice.

I am very pleased with this nursery. Staff is great, my daughter is always very happy and enthusiastic about going to the nursery and seems to have an amazing time. Always doing something nice, smiling, happy and learning something. All staff has been really nice to us and to my daughter. I love that we are being involved in their activities and tasks and I love the fact that we can keep track on what they are doing. It's amazing to know what they are doing while not with my kid and I love to see her always learning, doing new things and having the beautiful things she does at the nursery.

The care our son has received has been outstanding and the staff and team couldn't do more for him, it's like he's one of the family and from quite a shy child he is now very sociable and speaking and interacting very well. Can't recommend this nursery highly enough.

First Steps Day Nursery is a home from home setting with amazing staff. Both our sons have/are attending and absolutely love coming. All the staff are very friendly/happy and welcoming and can't do enough for both children and parents. Our son's development has definitely excelled during their time here.

Mt experience has been very positive. My son was just under one when he joined and he has settled very well. The staff have been very attentive and caring to his needs and they have assured me that my son will be well looked after when I return to work. I am also very assured that he will not only be well looked after but also flourish and develop good and healthy social skills.

Ashton Court has been very good through my daughter's transition to nursery. This is something as a first-time parent I was very anxious about. We have seen the progress she has made already after only a month. We look forward to the updates we get on a daily basis about what our daughter is getting up to.

Overall the atmosphere and energy is always upbeat and staff are always welcoming, even staff who do not work with my child all make an effort to address me and my son. Any minor concerns I have as a parent always get addressed promptly. These are extremely small issues but the staff will always take note. They get to know the characters of children and are happy to adapt to their needs.

My son has been attending this nursery since he was 13 months old. He is now 2 and a half years old and I am very pleased with how the nursery is preparing him for school. I am pleased with how the nursery encourages parents to take part in activities centred around the nursery and children. I am also pleased with how they keep you up to date with your child's development. Overall, I am very pleased with the service I have received from Ashton Court First Steps Nursery in the last few years which has enabled me to carry on with my full-time education.

Management in-house is excellent but I haven’t met anyone from the Co-op Childcare yet.

Very happy with this nursery. My child is happy and confident. Learning and interacting with other children. Has so much fun whilst being there. She does get upset in the morning when I drop her off but after the staff reassure her she is fine within minutes and is off playing. I would recommend this nursery and I have not a bad word to say about it.

Staff are very friendly and welcoming. My daughter enjoys coming to nursery and her immediate carers make her feel settled and happy. Very nice to see that the nursery manager is so hands on.

I would definitely recommend this nursery to anyone.

Staff are so friendly and approachable. Take time out to get to know children as individuals. Constantly keep parents up to date regarding child's progress and next steps.
