Little Pioneers Nursery & Pre-School, Ashton Court

My child has attended Little Pioneers for 2 years overall, we have been very pleased with our experience. The teachers are dedicated and know each student individually. My child has grown in confidence and know enjoys lessons. Communication with parents is clear and regular. This is a caring school where students are supported academically and personally. I would recommend it to other famillies.

My grandson started here in 2024, as a very quiet and shy 2 year old. We looked at many local nursery schools and found many to be a little too clinical. On visiting Ashton Court back in 2024 there was an immediate sense of 'family', just the enviroment wanted. My grandson has grown and developed in so many positive ways, the team at Ashton Court are amazing and show such care and affection for all the children there. It really what nursery care should be, fun, learning but most importantly an extension of home. Well done Ashton Court!

I felt Ashton Court has benefited my child in learning new things i.e he has openly been more confident and has spoken in more sentences since he has started at the nursery. My child has been supported through potty training and developed new skills such as understanding the importance of sharing and being kind to his friends and teachers etc.

My son attended the nursery, he has autism and they have took such good care with him. They provide the best care and environment for all staff and children.

Ashton Court has been a fantastic nursery for my boy. He started at 2 and finished at 4 (time for big school). From the staff to the learning my little one has come on so much. I could not have chosen a better group of people to care for my child. A home from home. Thank you all so much for everything you have done for us as a family.

Ashton court is a terrific nursery, the staff are so friendly and very attentive to the children's needs. I would recommend Ashton Court, they really helped my daughter and son settle in the nursery environment. The staff are amazing and I can't thank them enough.

Overall it has been a really positive experience for all three of us.

Staff are really caring with the children, the halo aid in key milestones, communication is great and they give us a summary when we go to collect our child, we have also been given tips from the staff to help our child's progression at home.

My son has been going here for past 2.5 years and it's been absolutely brilliant. There is always fun activities which he looks forward to go to. He has made friends and the carers are brilliant, can't recommend more as all you need to know that your child is in safe hands when ur at work.

I have always liked this nursery for many years and I remember how it used to run before coming privately owned, I think the staff they have there are truly a credit as they go above and beyond their job description to ensure the children are happy and safe, there are a few things I would definitely change, understand the new legal requirements, but days out to the park the library , having fire fighters, psco etc come in should be mandatory, especially in older children, considering the outside is small, for green room the oldest children staff have a day out as a last goodbye, more staff is definitely needed so current staff are not overworked, brinf back food play with actual real food especially in younger children for things like messy play, honest opinion staff deserve a pay rise especially as they go out of there way and for specific days like culture days staff use there own funds this should be funded by nurseries, be family run not all about money.

This is truly one of the best nurseries in the West Midlands. Don't be misled by the old-style building-inside you'll find the kindest, most caring, and warm-hearted team. Our family has experienced their exceptional care firsthand, and we are so grateful for everything they have done for our little one.

My son started in September. The staff use an app to keep us up to date and let us know immediately of any concern. The children take part in a wide range of activities indoors and outdoors. They are also fed a range of cold and warm foods to nurture their pallettes. My son loves being there, is very fond of the staff and is learning a lot.

My daughter started at Ashton court in September 2025 and I can say that I am so pleased I chose this nursery since she is so excited even at the mention of going to nursery. It has been a very caring environment for her, there's always someone there to give her a cuddle if she's having a bit of a wobble at drop off which puts me at ease. She has made so many new friends and i have noticed she is starting to become more vocal since attending Ashton court. I look forward to see her further progression and I am always impressed by the activities and the progress checks that are keeping me updated.

My son has been at Ashton Court for over 3 years, and it has been a really positive experience for him and for us! The practitioners are really friendly, caring and very supportive, they know my son very well and always know the right way to support his development. They always respond to his individual needs and invest a lot of time in coming up with new ways to engage with him. It is a happy, bright, friendly environment, I am kept informed and receive lovely photos and updates regularly. Very happy with the nursery, staff are hardworking, devoted, professional, kind and very caring and would highly recommend. Thank you all and many thanks to Blue room for helping my son transition to the new room, he seems very happy there!

Our son has been attending this kindergarten for the past three years, and we couldn't be happier with our experience. The teachers and staff are incredibly kind, professional, and genuinely care about each child's well-being and development. Over the years, we've seen our son grow in confidence, curiosity, and social skills, and we know the nurturing environment at this kindergarten played a huge role in that.

When attending his first few days at the nursery, my son was very unsettled, however he has gain confidence whilst being there. My son enjoys participating alongside with other children and gained him the boost that he needs although I strongly feel when relating to the app, I am not notified of any pictures relating to my son.The app could improve on posting more pictures. Overall I feel the staff and management are doing a tremendous job in looking after my son, so thank you very much.

Over the festive season, the nursery put on a breakfast with Santa on a Saturday morning. It was a really good event. Ticketed and older siblings were allowed to attend. Good range of breakfast cereals, yoghurts, sausage sandwiches (including vegetarian), juices, tea, coffee and hot chocolate. Santa came to visit everyone in each room. Then after breakfast we were able to go into the Grotto to talk to Santa who also gave a present. There was colouring to keep the children entertained and they also played with the toys in the room. For our first breakfast with Santa experience this was a relaxed event and thoroughly enjoyed by myself and my two children who attend Ashton Court. The staff volunteered to help out and I hope it's an event that is repeated again.
