Child 1st (Coleshill)

My son has been there for a couple of months now and I've been impressed with the communication from staff. He struggles at drop off but the team are always very warm and comforting. They also keep me updated with how he has settled so I don't spend the day worrying about him. I really appreciate this. We love seeing the photos of him and his little friends through the day and find the observations the team write help me to understand how he is doing and show me they are really getting to know him. Thank you team.

My daughter started preschool in April this year. All members of staff helped her settle in and within no time she was settled and happy. The staff are amazing they have been incredible with her and myself. I'm always updated on what she has done and hows she's been during the day.

Excellent nursery, daughter can’t wait to get in and doesn’t want to come home in the evening! Staff are excellent and the app is a great way of keeping in touch. Love the variety of food. Highly recommended.

Overall good, my daughter enjoys her time and skips in most mornings. The app used is fab to see what the children are up to and activities they’re doing. Also logs all progress. Management has always been fantastic and helpful along with staff from the pre-school room.

I changed my sons nursery over to this one due to him not thriving at his previous setting. My son has been attending for just over a year now and he has come on in leaps and bounds. He has a speech delay and the staff are excellent working with this. My sons speech has come on amazingly in twelve months, through his speech and language therapy but also because of the staff at the nursery. He absolutely loves his key worker and speaks about activities he's done that day with enthusiasm. Due to the restrictions with Covid-19 the nursery have still been excellent with communication and everything else, to put your mind at ease. I would definitely one hundred percent recommend this nursery. You can really tell the staff have a deep bond for the children in their care and its not just a job for them.

I was so nervous about my little boy starting nursery but the staff reassured me and made us both feel comfortable. He has come on leaps and bounds since starting in January, he loves nursery and is always asking to go. The family app is also really handy as it’s updated daily and I know exactly what he's been up to, which I find really reassuring. I would definitely recommend Child 1st (Coleshill).

The nursery and staff are brilliant. My daughter loves going here and has never had a bad experience. Initially, she was very shy, however, all the staff helped her come out of her shell and she now interacts and is very content here. All the staff are brilliant at what they do. They have dealt so well with the current covid situation and I can't thank them enough. I would recommend to anyone.

Very friendly and helpful staff. My child has been attending this nursery for over a year and thoroughly enjoys going. They have been extremely helpful and accommodating especially during challenging times with Covid. My child has developed massively since attending this nursery. Overall very pleased.

The nursery is great in general. The food is done onsite, is healthy and at least my child love it. The staff is wonderful and there is no better proof of it than my little one going in by his own feet, happy and excited every single day of the week. We could not be happier with the result and skills develop, and all the updates we are fed with during the day in the available app used by the staff. The installations of the nursery allow playing and developing skills indoor and outdoor, without any motor vehicle risk, in a separated and not transited area, which is wonderful. I feel safe leaving my son here, and I feel that every single day he has developed his skills even further, playing, painting, and learning new things on a daily basis. He returns home happy and excited for coming back in the day after.

Our two boys attend this nursery and we have to say it has been and continues to be wonderful for both of them. It is superbly professionally organised with a genuine care for all of the children there and excellent staff. We are delighted with it!

Very well organised with covid safety measures and communication of changes made. Always very reassuring, and all staff have worked so hard in these difficult times to keep the children happy, safe and making good progress in their learning.

The nursery manager was very accommodating and helpful when my child first started the nursery, all staff are welcoming and friendly. My child is always happy to go into nursery and never so happy to leave, that gives me reassurance that he enjoys his time there.

My son has been attending this nursery since he was seven months old and he is now nearly three. All the staff, including the manager, have been brilliant since day one and have helped my son to develop in a varied environment. The food is always different every time he goes and he is always happy when we pick him up. The staff are always professional, even in this difficult time.

I could not recommend this nursery enough. I have heard horror stories about other nurseries and I have to keep quiet as I have nothing but good comments. The manager and her team have gone above and beyond in a very difficult situation. Always smiling and always professional. The management at Head Office have kept parents informed throughout and also provided endless links to keep everyone busy. Whilst on lockdown, the nursery continued to provide videos and pictures so the children never lost touch. Truly a wonderful nursery and staff that care. I am so privileged that my child is able to attend such a caring, kind and above all professional establishment. Well done.

My son has been with Child 1st since he was six months old and has just turned four. The nursery had provided excellent care of my son, continually monitoring his progress and adapting to his needs. The varied and fresh menu is brilliant and he is always doing lots of different activities to stimulate learning. I would highly recommend this nursery.

My son has been at Child 1st for six months now and is a very happy boy there. The staff's commitment to ensuring a routine for the children has helped us enormously with weaning my son and he is always looked after wonderfully. He has a fantastic relationship with his principal carer and is always happy when we drop him off and collect him. I have full confidence in the safety and safeguarding of my son whilst he is in the care of the staff.

I couldn’t think of a better place for him to be, he loves going to nursery and I couldn’t be happier with how well they treat him and the range of activities they do each day.

My 1-year-old attends Child 1st (Coleshill) 3 days a week and our experience has been positive from the very start. The management were very accommodating when I had to make some last minute changes to his days of attendance and the baby room offered a number of settling in sessions which helped both myself and my son prepare for his first day. All of the staff members I have encountered are helpful, friendly and approachable and have really bonded with my son. We are always greeted at the main entrance with a smile and often by name, by carers from other parts of the nursery. I love to hear all about his day at handover and knowing he is relaxed and happy at nursery has made returning to work a little less stressful.

All the staff in the baby unit and the nursery are so friendly and comforting. My son loves going there and sometimes gets a bit gloomy when I pick him up in the evening. He is happy and settled and that’s really down to the love and nurturing he receives at nursery. Since my son started the nursery he has become quite active and is developing so well. We feel glad that we chose this nursery.
