My First Friends Rubery

My grandchildren love going to nursery. The staff are friendly and you can go to them if there is a problem. They would go to the nursery on weekends if it was open they love it that much. They are both doing well there. I can't fault the staff at all, they make you feel so welcome.

Brilliant nursery with fantastic facilities and staff who are caring and nurturing towards the children. The staff are also great at concentrating on each child’s individual needs and development. I wouldn’t send my children anywhere else.

My son goes to this nursery 2 days a week. He absolutely loves his time there. He loves all the staff and has really formed a special bond with them. The only thing I would say is that communication isn’t always great in terms of what their day-to-day looks like etc. but really pleased with how my son is coming on.

Since the start of preschool, I have noticed that my child has developed better social and motor skills.

You always get good feedback at the end of the day, during parent's evenings and on the app which gives me a really good insight into my child’s development, learning, and general happiness at the nursery. I’d definitely recommend this nursery to parents.

My First Friends nursery has been nothing but amazing, supportive and so helpful for my two-and-a-half-year-old. She has never been in a nursery setting before so I was extremely nervous and so was she but I was immediately put at ease on her first day by lots of smiling faces and words of support from the staff. They have been super helpful with the days I needed and have been wonderful and so loving to my little girl. She has struggled but the way the staff have helped her settle in is something I couldn’t be more grateful for. At only two weeks in she is already much more relaxed. I am so thankful for everything everyone has done for my daughter. I’m so glad I chose My First Friends for my little girl! She is going to make the best memories there with the best care! Thank you to all who look after her, it means so much to me!

The nursery is fantastic. My twin boys attend and have been welcomed with open arms. The staff are attentive, personable and friendly and my boys go to nursery happy, content and feeling secure. They communicate very well with parents and provide updates in a timely fashion. Highly recommended by 2 full-time working, worn out, extremely grateful parents!

My First Friends Nursery is an outstanding nursery. My daughters have thrived there. They have grown in confidence and are a lot more sociable now and I am so proud of them especially because of how far they have come since they joined the nursery so I will be forever grateful to them.

Nursery is doing fine but in the prior years, it was much better. Feel like standards are slipping a bit in terms of teacher to student ratio, cleanliness and general organisation. Staff really supportive and child really forms a bond with them.

This nursery has been brilliant towards my son for the first year he's been there. He has learnt so much from being there. The staff are wonderful. My son is always excited to come to nursery. I’m glad I chose this nursery for my son. And I do recommend this nursery to other moms and dads for their children.

My 4-year-old daughter joined this beautiful nursery in January 2023. She loves going to the nursery. Her skills developed more, she can draw and write some of the numbers and the alphabet. She loves all her teachers. She’s well looked after. Would love to thank them for all their help and for getting back to me without delay. Glad to have my daughter in this beautiful and well-organised nursery.

Over this time the staff here have been so wonderful. The ladies have been so attentive with the children and teaching our son and the children a wide range of skills. My son has come out of his shell so much. The management staff have been fantastic. The manager has been an amazing manager, whenever I pass the office she is always extremely hard at working away ensuring the best practices are applied within the nursery, however, both of the ladies have been very amazing and fantastic in the running of the nursery and always master everything with very high standards and at the same time, despite how busy they are, always have time for the mom's and dad's of the children whether for a general chat or advice when needed. Lovely nursery/ excellent staff and amazing management make My First Friends a joy for our son to be part of.

My son has had lots of improvement until now. He has just started to go to the nursery since April 2023. He has improved in language and development. Thanks a lot to the staff, who are perfect and supportive. Excellent!

This nursery is outstanding by all measures, my child's progress is so visible in speech, social skills and confidence especially! The staff is superb and always helpful, my girl loves that place! I would recommend this place to anyone with peace of mind!

The nursery does go above and beyond for me and my son, he’s been going through lots of tests at the hospital and as a single mum, the nursery have been nothing but supportive. I will never stop telling people to send their children here.

I could not recommend this nursery enough to anyone who is looking for a childcare provider for their little ones!

Nursery is lovely staff are brilliant caring and understanding. Management and Staff take time to help with any problems and have brilliant relationships with children and parents. The nursery is a lovely inviting setting with a lovely outdoor space.

The nursery staffs are excellent and very caring for my child. I would rate 5 stars for them. On the downside, the finance team is awful, money-minded and charges for all the bank holidays even if the child comes only 2 days a week. They are not helpful in citing terms and conditions. It is not the best value for money.

I want to give a special thanks to all the key workers who have started this journey with her as they have been fantastic! She loves going to nursery and she has come such a long way, I’m excited to see more of her character coming out in the next few months/years. The regular parents' evening updates are also great for both me and her father to sit there and see how well she is doing. Thank you My First Friends, Rubery! - if I could rate higher, I would.

This was my son's first month at full-time nursery and away from me and Dad. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and have helped my little boy settle in very quickly. He seems so much more happier and confident within himself. The staff are extremely friendly to everyone and make it less daunting to leave your child, especially as a first-time Mum.
