My son has been at The Nest for 9 months now and has developed a great relationship with all the staff, but especially his key worker, who he refers to as his best friend. Since September, he has been going to Forest School, which the nursery offers as a one morning a week option. The term was originally
only for 6 sessions, but my son has absolutely flourished in the natural setting, he adores it. “I’ve never seen him so animated” one of the teachers told me. Nursery picked up on his leap in development and have allowed him to continue his Forest Schooling with another group. The fact that the nursery have recognised a development pattern and have adapted to enable learning is just one of the many reasons I highly recommend The Nest.

My son has been attending The Nest for the last two months and I couldn’t be happier with it so far. He settled really quickly and has built a good relationship with his key worker. Communication has always been very good and I enjoy looking through his communication book at the end of each day. The
girls are all very friendly and having access to an app with photos of what my son has been up to is a great addition.

My nephew began attending the nursery in May 2021 and it is clear how much he loves it there. On the occasions I have collected him from nursery the staff have been friendly, approachable, professional and they are always able to tell me about his day in detail. It is very clear that the practitioners
have a passion for their roles and enjoy their work with the children. I would highly recommend the nursery to others.

My son started coming here in May 2021. From the start, there has been nothing but care and nurture from all of the staff. He has come on so much since starting and has recently upped his days. He now enjoys coming to nursery and gets excited when we get to the door. I couldn't think of any better people
to leave him with.

The staff are very friendly and welcoming. My child seems to enjoy being there which tells me that they are fun. The staff that I have met, know what my child's day is, how much they have slept, how much they have eaten, what they have been up to etc off the top of their head, which shows to me that
they are all engaged/involved with the children.

We have been delighted with the Nest since our son started a month ago.
The staff seem gentle, kind, and engaged with the children and have really helped our little boy to settle in.
They pay close attention to how he is getting on and we always get a thorough report of his day when we collect him,
including what he has enjoyed doing, how he's eaten etc.
The range of activities across indoor and outdoor spaces seems really inventive and there is always something going on for my son to get involved in.
We really enjoy keeping in touch with what he's up to via the app where pictures and updates are uploaded through the day.
The staff have also been great in accomodating our preference for using cloth nappies, which we really appreciate.
I feel confident my son is receiving a high standard of care in this setting and would have no hesitation in recommending it to other parents.

My daughter has spent 3 days at the nursery as part of her settling in week and she has loved it. She's loved exploring and playing in the sand, especially as I have half of it at home. Can't wait for her to start properly next week!

My daughter has been attending the Nest for 9-months. In that time, I have nothing but praise for everyone involved in the nursery. Throughout the difficult time of the pandemic, the management team have been forthright and open and managed to keep things going as much as possible. There is hardly a
day go by that I don’t see something new my daughter does that I know she hasn’t learned at home and can happily say the curiosity approach works! The staff clearly care greatly about all the kids, and it seems like every staff member knows every child, not just their names but the little things that make them the delightful little munchkins they are.

The Nest Nursery Copper Beech is all-around fantastic! My son attended, and now my daughter does. She leaves in the summer, and we’re going to be so sad saying goodbye.
I couldn’t fault any aspect of the nursery, the staff, most importantly are brilliant at what they do, always friendly, polite, caring
and helpful. The perfect role models for any child. The staff turnover too is very minimal, which I think is important for our children to build a bond with their key worker.
I love how the setting is very natural and follows the curiosity approach, the ability to go to forest school too.
Thank you to all the staff here that have made my children’s experience of a nursery the best. I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a nursery, and we’re really going to miss you come September!

We have been with The Nest for over five years, having first sent our eldest and now our three-year-old. Both our children have had positive experiences - our six-year-old still has good memories - and we have always found the nursery to be a caring and welcoming environment. I really admire the staff
for the way they have handled the pandemic and how they have really tried to maintain some normality for the children.

Our second daughter started at The Nest Nursery Copper Beech before Easter this year, shortly after she turned one. Being a lockdown baby she hasn’t had much interaction with people outside of our immediate family. The staff have all been so kind helping to settle her in. She has settled in so well
and quite quickly. She loves going and is enjoying all the activities that are offered to her. She has a food allergy and the staff are so careful with what she eats and drinks when she is there. I had every confidence in the team as our older daughter is also there in the older room and she has loved going there for the past three and a half years. In fact today, on a Saturday, completely spontaneously, she decided she wanted to make a card for her key worker. She is looking forward to giving it to her on Monday. Thank you to all the staff at The Nest Nursery Copper Beech for all that you do for both our girls.

After visiting six local nurseries, we knew as soon as we visited The Nest Nursery Copper Beech that this was our favourite. Our son has attended here since he was nine months old and he is now four and a half years old. Our experiences with The Nest Nursery Copper Beech site team have been extremely
positive the whole time. The staff are friendly, approachable, communicative and very helpful. The kids clearly love attending nursery and engaging with the myriad activities offered are encouraged. Our son adores his regular staff and has developed incredible social skills and confidence in his time there. I can honestly say that apart from day one when I was a blubbering wreck after dropping him off, I have never had any concerns about leaving our son in the care of this great team. Thank you to the manager and her team for all your hard work to keep our kids and us parents happy.

Both of my children have attended The Nest Nusery Copper Beech and they both have adored their time at the nursery. Initially I was drawn to the beautiful learning spaces, which are calming and encourage imagination and real life play. Thought and care have been put into the choice of materials and
colour palate of the room, which reflects the current best practice in a childcare setting. The staff are friendly and the nursery feels warm and homely. Learning is organic rather than forced on the children and there is a real drive for curiosity, inclusiveness and connectness in nature. Families are encouraged to be involved and there a number of activities and events, both during Covid-19 and pre Covid-19 that we have been invited to participate in. We have felt very safe and confident in sending our children to this nursery.

I cannot rate this nursery highly enough. My grandson often tells me all about the things he has done during his day and he absolutely loves going there! My daughter and son-in-law are always full of stories of how the staff are always inventing new ways in which to draw the children into learning.
This is always done through rich and immersive experiences, rather than trying to artificially ‘feed’ the children information. They respond to each child’s individual ideas too, so that if my grandson takes a toy or object of interest in from home then the staff will embrace that and incorporate it into the activities for that day or even divert from the planned activities in order to be responsive rather than prescriptive in their approach. I have visited the nursery and quite honestly would absolutely love to spend a day there myself once in a while and enjoy being totally immersed in this wonderland of creative learning, as well as enjoying the amazing meals prepared by the chef and her team!

Our son has been going to The Nest Copper Beech for nearly two years, and we really couldn't ask for any more. Especially during this past year, we have felt reassured, been kept in the loop with everything, and we have just been so thankful for The Nest family, and the continuity of care, and the safe
place that it has been for him. The staff truly are child-led in all that they do - our son feels valued and treasured by everyone there. He is being nurtured while having the freedom to be independent, take risks and explore. We love the curiosity approach and all it stands for. He always comes home in high spirits, telling us of the adventures that he has been on - and this is always backed up with regular photos, videos and Zoom updates from his key worker. We are so lucky to have this nursery on our doorstep - it really is one of a kind.

My daughter loves going to nursery and really enjoys all the activities there. She is always in a good mood at the end of the nursery day. She also enjoys the varied meals provided by the nursery. She especially enjoys the outdoor activities such as the sand pit and the mud kitchen.

As a first time mom, having to choose a nursery to send your child to can be quite stressful! It's even more stressful in the middle of a pandemic!! The Nest has been amazing, to say the least. I instantly liked their approach! The environment is like a comfy home of learning, and not like a school!
My baby girl settled there so quickly, and the staff were so patient with me answering my many checking in phone calls. I highly recommend The Nest, and any nursery delivering the curiosity approach!

Our little boy started in September, and absolutely loves it! We were lucky that we managed to look around pre-Covid, and so could get a feel for the place. It’s an environment that is safe for them to explore, but is also ‘real’ and not full of garish plastic toys!


The staff are all lovely and seem

to enjoy working there, the meals are freshly cooked on-site, and means that you don’t need to worry too much about what to give them in an evening! They do so much to keep them stimulated, and I think it’s been great for our son’s development.
