The Nest Nursery Copper Beech

My son has been attending the Nest nursery for 3.5 years and I’m sure he will be sad to leave when he goes to school this year. He settled in really well when he initially started in the babies room, the staff were always very attentive and reassuring. The play set-ups were brilliant and really helped him develop his speech and imagination. He was always happy to go into nursery which was a relief too. When he moved to the older room upstairs, he settled in quickly and adapted to the change really well, the staff were very attentive at giving us feedback on how he was getting on. We feel the nursery offers a really welcoming environment and we love the variety of play equipment that is offered and the fact it really develops the children's imaginations. The food is always varied and our son eats really well whilst he is there. The garden space is a lovely and lots of time is spent out there. We also love that our son can attend Forest school on a rota system, he loves it!

My daughter has been attending the Nest Nursery for the last year and we have seen her become more confident and independent. She has special needs and all staff have been amazing at meeting her needs. We know that she is always welcome, included in everything and learns so much through play.

My son started at The Nest Copper Beech last year and he has come on so much, it’s so lovely to see him so happy and settled. The team are amazing and very helpful and he has made so many friends. One member of staff, in particular, is fantastic with my son, thank you so much.

My son has only been attending the nursery for a few months but we all love it! It’s lovely to know he’s experiencing so much and given the opportunity to explore! He’s always so smiley and the carers are great. We get frequent updates on his progress and little stories about what he’s been up to each day! Couldn’t ask for more.

The Nest Nursery gave us the peace of mind every parent wants when sending their child to childcare. Our little girl loves it there and we know that we have chosen the best environment away from home for her. The setting is lovely. We love the curiosity approach and we have implemented many ideas from it at home! The teachers are fabulous! I love the support The Nest Nursery offers with sleep for example (and many other subjects). The Forest School is a total highlight- and it is absolutely wonderful that even kids who do not attend nursery on Thursdays can still come to Forest School. The manager is wonderful and goes above and beyond! Our little girl made loads of friends there and she will be sad to leave for school when the time comes! We now have another child and when she is ready she also will be attending the Nest.

Our daughter has attended this nursery for over two years now and we all love it! She loves it so much she asks me to come late to pick her up. She has learnt so much from her time at The Nest and we're so impressed with the activities the staff do with the children - our second daughter will be attending from the end of the year and we look forward to many more years with The Nest.

My daughter has been attending the Nest nursery for 8 months now and I could not be more pleased. It’s so worrying choosing a nursery, but she runs in every morning and says bye mommy, she loves it! The staff are so lovely, they have gone above and beyond making sure my daughter settled in quickly and is comfortable being there. She has made great relationships with staff and her key worker, often asking for them at home to come and read stories. The environment is homely and the resources are changed regularly to suit each child’s interests. What a great choice we made choosing this nursery!

My son has been at The Nest for 9 months now and has developed a great relationship with all the staff, but especially his key worker, who he refers to as his best friend. Since September, he has been going to Forest School, which the nursery offers as a one morning a week option. The term was originally only for 6 sessions, but my son has absolutely flourished in the natural setting, he adores it. “I’ve never seen him so animated” one of the teachers told me. Nursery picked up on his leap in development and have allowed him to continue his Forest Schooling with another group. The fact that the nursery have recognised a development pattern and have adapted to enable learning is just one of the many reasons I highly recommend The Nest.

My son has been attending The Nest for the last two months and I couldn’t be happier with it so far. He settled really quickly and has built a good relationship with his key worker. Communication has always been very good and I enjoy looking through his communication book at the end of each day. The girls are all very friendly and having access to an app with photos of what my son has been up to is a great addition.

My nephew began attending the nursery in May 2021 and it is clear how much he loves it there. On the occasions I have collected him from nursery the staff have been friendly, approachable, professional and they are always able to tell me about his day in detail. It is very clear that the practitioners have a passion for their roles and enjoy their work with the children. I would highly recommend the nursery to others.

My son started coming here in May 2021. From the start, there has been nothing but care and nurture from all of the staff. He has come on so much since starting and has recently upped his days. He now enjoys coming to nursery and gets excited when we get to the door. I couldn't think of any better people to leave him with.

The staff are very friendly and welcoming. My child seems to enjoy being there which tells me that they are fun. The staff that I have met, know what my child's day is, how much they have slept, how much they have eaten, what they have been up to etc off the top of their head, which shows to me that they are all engaged/involved with the children.

I feel confident my son is receiving a high standard of care in this setting and would have no hesitation in recommending it to other parents.

My daughter has spent 3 days at the nursery as part of her settling in week and she has loved it. She's loved exploring and playing in the sand, especially as I have half of it at home. Can't wait for her to start properly next week!

My daughter has been attending the Nest for 9-months. In that time, I have nothing but praise for everyone involved in the nursery. Throughout the difficult time of the pandemic, the management team have been forthright and open and managed to keep things going as much as possible. There is hardly a day go by that I don’t see something new my daughter does that I know she hasn’t learned at home and can happily say the curiosity approach works! The staff clearly care greatly about all the kids, and it seems like every staff member knows every child, not just their names but the little things that make them the delightful little munchkins they are.

Thank you to all the staff here that have made my children’s experience of a nursery the best. I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a nursery, and we’re really going to miss you come September!

We have been with The Nest for over five years, having first sent our eldest and now our three-year-old. Both our children have had positive experiences - our six-year-old still has good memories - and we have always found the nursery to be a caring and welcoming environment. I really admire the staff for the way they have handled the pandemic and how they have really tried to maintain some normality for the children.

Our daughter will leave for 'big' school in September having had almost four wonderful years at The Nest. She will leave an extremely confident, well-rounded and happy little girl. Thank you to the manager and all her staff at The Nest, not least for always going that extra mile.

Our second daughter started at The Nest Nursery Copper Beech before Easter this year, shortly after she turned one. Being a lockdown baby she hasn’t had much interaction with people outside of our immediate family. The staff have all been so kind helping to settle her in. She has settled in so well and quite quickly. She loves going and is enjoying all the activities that are offered to her. She has a food allergy and the staff are so careful with what she eats and drinks when she is there. I had every confidence in the team as our older daughter is also there in the older room and she has loved going there for the past three and a half years. In fact today, on a Saturday, completely spontaneously, she decided she wanted to make a card for her key worker. She is looking forward to giving it to her on Monday. Thank you to all the staff at The Nest Nursery Copper Beech for all that you do for both our girls.

After visiting six local nurseries, we knew as soon as we visited The Nest Nursery Copper Beech that this was our favourite. Our son has attended here since he was nine months old and he is now four and a half years old. Our experiences with The Nest Nursery Copper Beech site team have been extremely positive the whole time. The staff are friendly, approachable, communicative and very helpful. The kids clearly love attending nursery and engaging with the myriad activities offered are encouraged. Our son adores his regular staff and has developed incredible social skills and confidence in his time there. I can honestly say that apart from day one when I was a blubbering wreck after dropping him off, I have never had any concerns about leaving our son in the care of this great team. Thank you to the manager and her team for all your hard work to keep our kids and us parents happy.
