The Nest Nursery Copper Beech

Our son has been going to The Nest Copper Beech for nearly two years, and we really couldn't ask for any more. Especially during this past year, we have felt reassured, been kept in the loop with everything, and we have just been so thankful for The Nest family, and the continuity of care, and the safe place that it has been for him. The staff truly are child-led in all that they do - our son feels valued and treasured by everyone there. He is being nurtured while having the freedom to be independent, take risks and explore. We love the curiosity approach and all it stands for. He always comes home in high spirits, telling us of the adventures that he has been on - and this is always backed up with regular photos, videos and Zoom updates from his key worker. We are so lucky to have this nursery on our doorstep - it really is one of a kind.

We absolutely adore The Nest Nursery Copper Beach. They provide a wonderful, cosy and exciting environment for children to explore and enjoy. The staff are warm, welcoming and dedicated to providing a lovely space for children to thrive in. Our eldest began attending The Nest Nursery Copper Beach four years ago and now our youngest attends. We couldn't imagine a better place for our children as their days at The Nest Nursery Copper Beach have always been filled with fun and creativity.

My daughter loves going to nursery and really enjoys all the activities there. She is always in a good mood at the end of the nursery day. She also enjoys the varied meals provided by the nursery. She especially enjoys the outdoor activities such as the sand pit and the mud kitchen.

My baby girl settled there so quickly, and the staff were so patient with me answering my many checking in phone calls. I highly recommend The Nest, and any nursery delivering the curiosity approach!

Our little boy started in September, and absolutely loves it! We were lucky that we managed to look around pre-Covid, and so could get a feel for the place. It’s an environment that is safe for them to explore, but is also ‘real’ and not full of garish plastic toys!

The staff are all lovely and seem to enjoy working there, the meals are freshly cooked on-site, and means that you don’t need to worry too much about what to give them in an evening! They do so much to keep them stimulated, and I think it’s been great for our son’s development.

My child has been attending The Nest Nursery for over two years now. It took a while for him to settle down, to begin with, but the stuff nurtured him so well, now he loves going to The Nest. I really like their curiosity approach, and they use natural resources, and they show us that anything can become an amazing toy. Also, the food is prepared at the site, and he loves eating their meals! I am very happy that he attends The Nest Nursery! Thank you.

My daughter started the nursery when she was 13-months-old only. It’s like a second family, she loves the staff and the atmosphere. My daughter made good friends already, and she couldn’t stop talking about what the have done all day, all the dancing and the baking. The management team are great, and they would go the extra mile to sort out any obstacles. I couldn’t ask for a better and safer place to look after my precious baby!

My daughter loves The Nest Nursery; she's always happy to be dropped off in the morning and comes home in a great mood. The handoff is always full of details about her day, the staff really go the extra mile to talk, you can really see their bond with the children. I love the curiosity approach the use of natural materials for play and encouraging the children to follow their interests is great. The little cakes and things that come home are always very welcome and a fun insight to their day.

Sending your child to a nursery in “normal” times can be a difficult enough process, but when you’re in the middle of a pandemic, it can increase your anxiety somewhat. However, this nursery made the transition seamless and feels so safe.

The staff are incredible and always take the time to give you a thorough overview of your child’s day. The love, care and nurturing they give the children is so natural. Thank you so much.

My son has been attending this nursery for over two years. He absolutely loves it there because of the various wonderful activities that he is engaged in throughout the day. The whole ethos of this nursery is amazing, and that is reflected in my son's development and learning. The staff are wonderful, and we are always at peace knowing how well he is being looked after there. When we pick our son up, he is always happy, smiling and in great spirits, which is a credit to everyone working there.

The communication with staff is outstanding, and I can’t fault their level of care and attention to detail. I know 100% that I made the best decision for my son. I honestly can’t rate them highly enough!

We really couldn’t have wished for a better start in life for our son. He started at The Nest when he was one and he’s now almost ready to start his next adventure into school! We have felt secure, reassured and supported throughout his time at The Nest, and particularly during the difficulties of the last year! Our son has grown in confidence with the encouragement of the caring and sensitive staff! We love that the setting is small enough so that every member of staff knows our son and that he feels happy to go with whoever is at the door that morning! The curiosity approach is child-centred and really encourages creativity, it allows our son to find his own interests and bring them home! We are going to feel like there’s a huge hole missing when he leaves, we really feel like part of the nest family!

I’d highly recommend this nursery!

I cannot recommend this nursery enough. Both my children have attended (son 9) and my daughter aged three is currently there. The staff care and love for the children like they are their own. I had to put both of my mine in at 6-months to return to work, and I’ve always felt comfortable leaving them so young as I know how well they are being looked after and the fun they have. Plus, the communication from nursery and the lovely pictures they post throughout the day on Facebook, brighten up days at work! I love what they have done with the curiosity approach, and they have handled covid amazingly and kept some sense of normality for the children in these strange times. She will really miss nursery when she starts school in September, and all the staff, as will I.

Our daughter has been attending The Nest Nursery for over a year after being with a childminder. The difference in our daughter is night and day, she has grown in confidence, in particular her social skills. She thinks of the staff as her friends and often refers to them as such. She has built up a good circle of friends, enjoys the activities, the food and always comes out at the day's end, visibly buzzing and happy. I wholeheartedly recommend The Nest Nursery.

We just love this nursery! Both of my children attend and they both love it. All the staff are amazing and we love the fact that they follow the curiosity approach. My eldest does forest school as well with them which she loves. They have been so amazing and accommodating throughout this pandemic - I can't thank them enough for providing a stable and safe environment for my children in times of such uncertainty. I highly recommend this nursery, it's been worth every penny and more.

My child has been going to the nursery for around 5 months and she loves it. The staff are are brilliant and they have made so much effort to get know and form a bond with my child. I have also been so impressed in the curiosity approach. It creates such a wonderful place for young people and focuses on all the things that I value in our family. As much as possible the nursery supports the children to spend time outdoors, explore sand, mud and water and when they are indoors they do a lot of singing and musical activities. They also have brilliantly high standards of food, giving the children nutritious meals every day, and overall their standards of care are excellent. I would recommend this nursery to anyone.

I couldn’t recommend this nursery more. My son has been going for a year and a half. He is so well looked after. The staff are lovely and form really strong bonds with the children and there seems to be a very low turnover of staff too. The curiosity approach is great and creates a calm and stimulating environment for the children, so they learn to play and use their imagination rather than just be ‘entertained’. My son has additional needs and the nursery SENCO as well as his key workers have been outstanding and making sure his needs are cared for. It’s so difficult for any parent leaving their child for the first time but they made it so easy from day one. My son has developed so much since restarting nursery after lockdown, and he missed it so much when we couldn’t go. The food is incredible - it is all freshly prepared and my son eats foods he turns his nose up to at home! To sum up; it is a happy, caring and loving environment with outstanding staff. Definitely recommend!

We also love that the nursery follows the curiosity approach, our daughter isn't bombarded with plastic toys and is encouraged to play outdoors with natural resources.
