The Nest Nursery Copper Beech

Our daughter has attended The Nest for 2 years. She loves it, there's a large outdoor play area where they are as often as the weather allows. Sandpits, tree swings, reading areas and a mud kitchen. Inside also has many play areas, and activities to encourage their curiosity and learning through play. The teachers are attentive, caring and honest in their feedback of your child's development.

Copper beech has been excellent for our daughter. She started at 7 months and was helped so much by her key worker into an easy transition. The communication has been excellent throughout and she has developed so much in the time she has been there. It was really important for us to find a nursery that has a similar ethos to us, where we know she would be safely guided and helped- copper beech has been exactly that and we would highly recommend them.

He also loves the food and eats really well there, which is another huge plus. Most importantly, he is genuinely happy and gets so excited to go each day, which says everything. I'm very grateful to The Nest for creating such a nurturing, engaging environment.

We only viewed The Nest when looking for a nursery for our daughter, As well as being Ofsted Outstanding, the children looked so happy and settled when we visited. The nursery has a lovely small, calm environment that never feels crowded, and the staff are wonderful, showing genuine care for our daughter. She is always happy to see any of them, and loves her key worker, Sheree.

We love the great variety of activities that our daughter gets to experience and we also really appreciate that they don't rely on lengthy daily app updates. Their time is spent genuinely engaging with the children.

We can see daily how much our daughter's development has accelerated since starting here, because of how much they encourage her, and her independence. She also eats such a great range of healthy, home-cooked food.

We couldn't be happier with our choice and would highly recommend The Nest.

Our daughter started at the Nest in September 2025 and we honestly could not be happier. Like everyone we always want the very best for her and actually came to the Nest after moving her from somewhere else which we didn't feel was meeting her needs. Our daughter needs some extra support with eating in particular and nothing has ever been too much trouble for the amazing staff. They absolutely go above and beyond to keep her safe, happy and cared for. She needs a particular type of milk which we were more than happy to provide but without asking they immediately ordered it for her - just one example of their kindness. Her key workers Martyna and Emily are outstanding and we are so grateful that our daughter got a place here. Thank you to all the team.

I have been sending my 11-month-old daughter to The Nest Nursery Copper Beech for the last 4 months and I have been really impressed with the nursery and the staff. They made the whole process of her starting and settling so easy! They have been so friendly and my daughter loves going. They have been so attentive to her development and give regular updates in person and via their app. All the staff are really caring and kind but I have to particularly commend my daughter's key worker, who is fantastic! I understand why they received an outstanding rating at their last Ofsted inspection - I would highly recommend this nursery!

My daughter has been coming to The Nest Nursery Copper Beech for nearly two years. We are so pleased with the happy, caring environment the staff have maintained there. She enjoys her days at nursery and has built a strong rapport with staff and her peers. The activities encourage exploring, stimulate imagination and creativity.

This is the best nursery we could ever find for our kids. Both of them loved the Nest Nursery Copper Beech and learned so much here! The forest school and outdoor playtime are amazing. As our daughter leaves the nursery this August, it is an emotional time for us. I want to take this opportunity to express our deep gratitude to the Copper Beech team. Our daughter has been attending since January and she absolutely loves her days at Copper Beech, she loves being outside and we love that she has plenty of outdoor time. Books are her favourite and this activity is greatly encouraged by the staff. Our little one is a real foodie and the ever-changing menu keeps our little one very satisfied, often resulting in second helpings! She always comes home clean and fresh after a fun day at nursery and sleeps like a log. Thank you, team Copper Beech.

The most amazing nursery we could have imagined for our two children. Our second child is about to finish in the summer. We’re very sad to be stepping away from this fabulous setting, while also confident that the staff have laid the best possible foundations for both our children. When our oldest child first left The Nest, I was nervous about him leaving such a nurturing setting, but I see now that he had everything he needed for his next stage in education. The Nest’s understanding of school readiness is fantastic and they help lay the strongest foundations. The staff are kind, caring and patient and our children have had amazing key workers. Both our children have loved their time at The Nest. Our oldest initially started at a different nursery within the group because Copper Beech was full. Both settings follow the same ethos and we couldn’t recommend them enough, full of fun, care and joy. It’s been an absolute pleasure to be part of The Nest family and we will be sad to say goodbye.

Extremely pleased with the support, care, love and attention my daughter has received since attending the Nest. All staff have been so patient and attentive during her settling period, and celebrate every win with me. My older children attend a different branch of the Nest, and I can confirm that the quality remains high in both settings. I look forward to watching my daughter blossom with the Nest over the next few years.

Both of my children started at the Nest when they were a year old - the eldest is due to start school this year. Having spoken to dozens of other parents who have experience of many different nursery settings, one of the best things for me is the simplicity of there being just two rooms. Rather than having to move to a new space every few months, the children really have a chance to get to know their room, and the people in it - both the other children and the adults. I love the fact that the children all come together at mealtimes, and I feel this really fosters a caring mentality, encouraging the children to look after their peers. Forest School has been a wonderful addition to the nursery experience for my eldest, and I know the younger one will also enjoy this when he gets to preschool age. I really like how much time the children are able to spend outside - both at Forest School and in the nursery garden - as this definitely adds to the sense of excitement and adventure at the nursery.

The Nest is a very loving and family-oriented environment and definitely feels like a home from home. This was one of the many reasons we chose it for our son. We have been attending since my son was 14 months old and have noticed huge strides in his development. The nursery have also really supported us as a family through some of our son’s health issues and helped with additional hearing tests which put our mind at ease. I really believe The Nest has helped the transition to preschool be a more smooth process. I really recommend The Nest, they put the child’s needs and experiences at the forefront. Lately my son has really enjoyed visits from a preschool football academy and trips to the park for a picnic.

Our whole family will miss this nursery dearly and cannot thank the staff enough for everything they have done for us over the years!

A lovely open-ended environment. Staff really support the children and are very kind. A small nursery which means not lots of transitions from room to room and children all seem to know each other and all staff too.

The Nest Nursery have looked after my son since he was six months old, and he is now four and about to start school. They have offered a very high standard of care and have supported my son's development. They have always shown kindness and compassion to our whole family and have gone above and beyond to ensure my son feels safe and happy whilst with them.
