Our sons nursery, Walcot Co-op, is such a fantastic place. We've always loved it from day one, at 12 months, to three years preschool. We specifically chose it at first because of the lovely atmosphere and environment - even the babies were happy and never appeared upset. The space to move inside and out was a real draw. We've always loved all the staff, everyone's always been so friendly and caring and all the staff and children know each other across rooms. We will be really sad when our son leaves for school which says it all really.

My daughter joined two months back. She has developed a close bond with her key person. The staff are caring and well trained. My daughter loves their food too.

It’s one of the more costly childcare options in Swindon but my son has learnt a lot from being in their care and the staff are fabulous.

Caring, supportive and friendly nursery. My daughter has attended since she was 9 months old (shes nearly 3) and sending her to this nursery was one of the best decisions I have ever made. She has come on leaps and bounds in terms of her development intellectually and socially. She looks forward to attending nursery and is now sad to leave when I pick her up! I cannot fault the dedicated and hardworking staff. They do the best with the resources they have. I would like to see Co-Operative invest more in the nursery as some of the rooms and facilities are looking a little tierd.

My daughter loves attending nursery and has really developed in her speech and confidence, she will often talk about her key workers and friends at nursery. I highly recommend, the staff are friendly and she receives a balanced meal whilst there.

She really enjoys coming here.

I just want to say a big thank you to all the staff, you guys are wonderful, and the kind of open system the nursery operates makes the place a home away from home for my daughter. Thank you.

My daughter is a fussy eater. The carers at this nursery are very patient with her, going beyond what is needed for them to do. They genuinely care about my child. Thank you.

We love the nursery. The staff in the 02's room make my son feel welcome each and every day. I know he is in safe hands.

All 3 of my children have attended Walcot Co-operative nursery since 2011 and I wouldn't send them anywhere else! The staff are fantastic, friendly and approachable, the communication with parents is brilliant and my children have all loved attending.

Very friendly enthusiatic and loving staff and nursery is spacious with lots of activities. Garden is also very nice.

My son has been at this Nursery for almost a year now and has come a long way! Every single member of staff is warm and welcoming and he has become attached to them as they are nurturing and supportive. They provide a stimulating and rich environment within the classroom and gardens through which the children engage in learning through play. My son had learnt many new skills from counting to being a kind friend, I feel very relaxed when he is there as I know he is in good hands. He always has lots to say about the different activities he has done throughout the day and about his great friends!

Both my children have attended Walcot Co-operative nursery. They have both thrived there and I couldn't recommend it more. Friendly and professional staff who obviously really care for the children.

Both my children have attended this nursery, they have both always achieved their goals (learning words, numbers etc). A very welcoming, friendly environment.

Choosing a nursery seems to be daunting work. I am worried about my daughter of not being able to adapt herself with her new surroundings. What is worse, she got so used to staying at home and looked after by my husband while I attended college or attend work. When my daughter finally registered and ready to go, her settling in days did not seem promising as she was quite overwhelmed by the change. However, the whole team (including the manager) at Walcot were very supportive. They know exactly what I am going through and always there to give a helping hand (or hands!). Slowly, I began to see the change in my daughter. She is much happier and always have a tummy full when I collect her after college. The staff have always kept me up to date with her progress and I am particularly happy when they said " she had a good day or a brilliant day." What more can a mummy ask. I am deeply grateful for their help for my daughter and me personally. I could not thank you enough and am glad I chose this nursery.

Staff are amazing with him, especially if he became a bit upset in the morning when I have to leave, they will always distract him and get him involved with feeding the pet fishes or take him to the hamster in the older children's room that he also loves.

So pleased with the way my son is learning new skills while at nursery, always so glad to see the smile on his face when myself or a family member picks him up, it shows that he had a lovely session. I can't thank the staff enough for their support. We are always kept up to date with what he's done throughout his session too.

Absolutely fantastic nursery. The staff are brilliant and they really care about the children. They have offered a huge amount of support to my child as well as myself.
