My child absolutely loves going to nursery. She has never once cried when we have dropped her off even on her first day. She loves all the staff she comes into contact with.
The staff have assessed the right times for her to move onto the next stage room and have not just gone on when she is 'supposed
to'.
My daughter has additional needs and the nursery is extremely accommodating for her needs and have continued with teaching of sign language that her specialist nursery (and me and her dad) are teaching her.

My son has been going to Busy Bees since he was 1yr old. He has been in every room at the nursery and is now in pre-school as he will be heading to 'big school' in September.
He has had exceptional care at every stage of his Busy Bees journey and is now a confident and happy school ready little boy.
The management and staff are all fantastic without exception, making me comfortable and happy that he's in their care.

My little girl loves this nursery. She has a big smile on her face every time we drop her off. She needed a bit of time to settle in but the staff always made sure that she is happy and looked after. The food is freshly made, which was one of the reasons we choose this nursery. The toddler room has
loads to offer, there is a big outside area as well, so they can run outside if the weather is good.

My two children have been attending Busy Bees since they were less than a year old. One is now in preschool and the other in 'big babies'.
I cannot express how much I think that the nursery has positively impacted on their development. Not only do they continuously learn and develop new skills, but
they love going to nursery.
The staff are fantastic and care for my children as if they were there own. They are always available to speak to at drop off and collection and make sure that I'm kept informed about what has been happening during the day, or making sure I know if they've had a bump!

My son has come on huge amounts since being at this nursery. The staff are brilliant, always friendly and professional. The outside play area is great for my energetic toddler and the extended opening hrs work well with my job. The food is also excellent.

My daughter is well cared for and happy at preschool. She is sometimes not happy going in but I am assured that she settles very quickly each day. I have had only few issues over the last few years and all have been addressed very promptly and well. Friendly and approachable staff. Lovely setting.

Both my children have attended Busy Bees at Trowbridge, Paxcroft Mead. They have both extremely enjoyed their time there. They were both only 6 months old when they started so needless to say I was nervous, but the ladies in the baby room instantly put me at ease. They were very professional, attentive,
caring, friendly and was very clear they had a lot of experience. Once they were old enough they moved up to the toddler room which again they loved, the ladies in here were equally amazing. Both children have flourished from their nursery experience here and I would highly recommend Busy Bees.

So happy I have put my son into this nursery. He has progressed so much and becoming so much more confident with other people and his speech.


He always comes home really happy. When I pick him up, I always get told what he has been up to what he's slept, eaten and what nappies he's had.

I have been using this nursery since 2014 and both of my children love it. The staff are friendly and always willing to accommodate ours and our children's needs. In the last 3 year's there has been a change in management and this transition has taken place smoothly with no effect on the children. I
believe that both of my children are well looked after and are stimulated and encouraged at all times. My eldest is in pre-school and every day he surprises me with new things he has learnt, whether this has been maths, English, science, make believe, new songs or a new game, he has made up with his friends.


I have recommended this nursery (our nursery) to 3 friends, all of whom have enrolled their children.

My daughter has a physical disability and has attended this nursery for the past 2 years. Staff have worked really well with her to adapt either an activity or the environment, to make sure they are meeting her needs and including her along with her peers. My daughter has developed some relationships
with other children but has particularly developed good relationships with the staff, which allowed my daughter to have that trust which has enabled her to thrive.
As a parent, I feel included in her learning and I feel that I can discuss any issue with all staff surrounding my daughter. I would pass on my positive experience to my friends and family.

Our little girl has attended Busy Bees since last November and I can not recommend them highly enough. The manager and staff could not do any more to make it such a fun and educational experience. Every member of staff knows each child individually and we have no doubts about the care that she receives.
The Parents Zone App is just great and allows us to see what she had been doing that day.

Our kids love Busy Bees! They love the staff, their friends and all of the different activities they get up to. My Granddaughter has settled into nursery so well with the support from the team. Both my daughter and I feel we made the right choice after visiting a few other nurseries in the area. We are kept informed with what she has been doing during her time at nursery, although we can log on to parent zone
and all the information is there.
She has had the opportunity to explore lots of different things and she now loves tactile media and using her senses to investigate things. The staff a very friendly and the management team make you feel welcome and are very helpful and supportive.
My Granddaughter has already built a bond with her key-person and separates from her mum with no fuss. She also loves the food and always eats well.
The parent log in is great I look forward to seeing all the lovely activities she has taken part in.
The nursery is outstanding and would highly recommend it.

A very well presented nursery, the team of workers are really polite and truly understand what your child needs. The rooms are well thought out using all the criteria a child needs to develop in their early years. This practice is well run with an excellent manager and staff who excel to go beyond what
is needed, I have/would recommend to all.
My child is 2 years old and at the end of the day when he comes home you see the difference a day can make with his speech and mannerisms. The Busy Bees team are developing him well from his strong liking to creative playing and much much more.

When we moved to Trowbridge we looked at a number of nurseries but none had the same facilities or enthusiasm for child's care as Busy Bees. The preschool environment has three rooms and a lovely outdoor space with play equipment. We were concerned she wouldn't settle in a new environment but the staff
made me and my daughter feel reassured and she very quickly made new friends and relationships with the staff. She would come home from nursery with so many stories about the things she had done at school. I feel confident when leaving my daughter that she is well looked after and the staff go above and beyond to make sure my daughter and the other children get individual activities suited to their abilities as well as group activities. The nursery is an excellent foundation to prepare children for school and I feel my daughter's abilities have improved since starting at Busy Bees.

Busy Bees is an excellent nursery. The food is mostly excellent (I wouldn't brave soup with a toddler!) and the days are filled with fun and educational activities.


My child loves the place and the staff. I think the best indication is when I pick her up she quite often wants to stay!

I can't say enough wonderful things about Busybees Trowbridge! It saved us when I was starting to lose faith in other local nurseries! The members of staff are warm and welcoming the moment you walk through the door. I know they genuinely care about my little boy and go 'above and beyond' every day
to make sure all the children in their care feel happy, safe and nurtured. I had such concerns when going back to work and leaving my son in childcare all day but the wonderful staff at Busybees supported him (and me!) beautifully. He started nursery as a fussy eater with limited vocabulary, which made me nervous, but thanks to his year in the toddler room, he now has a voracious appetite for new foods and a wealth of new vocabulary. He has flourished in their care and continues to do so now in the preschool room, who are also amazingly supportive and have helped us battle new challenges like potty training! I've discovered not all nurseries are the same and this one is a gem!

Helen Nester

Job Title: Centre Director Joined: 2023

Welcome to Busy Bees Trowbridge, my name is Helen and I am the Centre Director for the Nursery. I have been a part of the company since September 2023 and in October achieved, with the team here at Trowbridge our Triple Outstanding from OFSTED.


I have worked in Childcare for 24 years with some breaks in my career to have my two boys. I have a passion for Early Years and promoting a firm foundation for children to learn and develop holistically. 


I fully believe this is the most important stage before children embark on their next journey, to school and beyond. I enjoy working with the team to help create a warm and enriching environment for the children here.


During my time in childcare, I started as an Apprentice right up to being a Nursery Manager. I have previously managed 4 other nurseries in the last 24 years.


Busy Bees is an advocate for the future personal growth and well-being of their staff, and as importantly the health, safety and development of the children that attend the companies' settings.


I really enjoy being a part of the wonderful team here at Trowbridge and meeting the families that attend here, both old and new.
