Busy Bees Trowbridge, Paxcroft Mead

We have been using the nursery since January 2021. Our son joined when he was just over 1 year old and settled in with the team immediately. His transition from babies to toddlers was managed really well and he has thrived with new and exciting activities and stimulation. Despite the challenges of Covid, we have developed a very positive relationship with his key workers and the wider team, through drop off, collection and wider communications. On the couple of occasions, we have felt the need to feed something back to the centre director, we have felt valued and respected in our feelings and opinions and have been very pleased with follow up activity. In March 2022 our baby joined the setting and due to some personal challenges he had, we were a little nervous about him starting, but again the team have gone above and beyond to welcome him and support him in his journey and to our absolute delight he has settled as well as his older brother and is thriving in the environment. It’s excellent.

My son has recently started at Busy Bees within the toddler unit. This week was his second session! I honestly can’t thank the staff enough for taking care of the most precious little pickle of mine! It’s a huge thing for both of us spending time apart but the girls within the room are so loving, kind and my son loves them already! one member of staff is like a second mummy to him and he loves her! Also, his key person is amazing at reassuring me as a mum letting me know all the wonderful things he’s up to! I connect is updated with plenty of lovely play pictures to see - these are lovely when you're at work wondering how he’s getting on! And not to forget the two girls both have given me lovely end of day reviews of how his day has been! I really wouldn’t take him anywhere else! Thank you to each and every one of the girls that work with my pickle! You make it so enjoyable for us both in this next stage!

I have both my children in Busy Bees at the moment. I can’t say enough good things about the whole team there. We’ve moved through all the rooms (my son has been in since 8 months old and is moving to school in September) and each staff member we’ve dealt with has just been so friendly, welcoming to us and our children, and genuinely cares for the kids. I know if my children need a cuddle and comfort at any time during the day it will be given with open arms. Add to this level of care the expertise in childcare and development, gourmet food (often jealous of what they’ve been eating that day), and flexibility with the early and later opening times I would gladly recommend them to any parents locally.

I am amazed and so grateful for all the staff members at Busy Bees.

This is a fantastic setting, with a wonderful team of dedicated, caring staff. Our children absolutely love coming here, we feel as though all of the staff know the children extremely well and tailor the activities to be really engaging and exciting for them. Sometimes it’s the little things that really make the difference, like helping to look after one child whilst I get the other one strapped in and ready to go home, or even just offering to put their hats on when they see that we are going to walk home. At the end of a long day, these seemingly small acts go a long way. As a family, we are so happy that our children are at Busy Bees, Trowbridge.

Straight away we got on with her key worker who really took the time to get to know her. They formed a bond straight away and she is now all our daughter can talk about. There was one day we struggled to get her in as she got quite upset but the staff were very understanding and allowed us to rearrange the settling in session for the next day, after that, she was completely fine and we didn’t end up needing extra settling sessions. We have been super impressed with how strictly they are following the COVID guidance and just shows how professional they all are. We are so pleased to be apart of the Busy Bee Family!

I cannot put down just how strongly I would recommend this nursery. My eldest has been going since August 2019 and my youngest started Jan 2021. Every day they come out with huge smiles and excitement (early days for the youngest, but I have realised I really didn't need to worry about him!). The rooms are set up perfectly for all the different interests the children have, with different themes and activities to explore. They have access to outside at all times which is a massive tick in the box for our family. They allow the children to find their own independence - my eldest was extremely proud of himself when showing me how to take off his own jumper. Everyone that I have met, and spoken to have been welcoming, friendly, polite and professional. Staff in other rooms from my children and office staff know who they are and have always got a friendly word to give to them. It's become a running joke at home about how well they eat, and knowing it's healthy food gives us peace of mind.

As parents, we have received a brilliant service from this nursery. Our son adores his key worker and after a rocky start to nursery (due to feeling unsettled which is to be expected) he now walks in, feeling happy and content. We wanted a nursery that provides a loving, nurturing and a great learning environment and we feel that Trowbridge Busy Bees provides every aspect. The menu provides a wide range of healthy food too which is a real reassurance. We look forward to seeing our little boy progress through nursery.

As a side note, the team have been extremely professional and efficient during the pandemic.

Our son has attended Busy Bees in Trowbridge, Paxcroft Mead for 2 years now. We have been very happy with the setting and staff in all rooms, ever since he started in Babies. He has more recently moved up to the Preschool class and is really enjoying himself in there! All staff are always friendly and happy to help. Not just the staff from my son's preschool room but any member of staff you encounter from the nursery. Always greeted with a smile and a warm welcome and most improtantly, everyone is great with our son. We don't have anything negative to say and would highly recommend this nursery to anyone looking for a place to send their child where they will be loved and cared for.

I really cannot praise this setting enough, from day one when I dropped my twins off at the Baby room all the way through to preschool they have all been amazing. They take the time to get to know your child and really bond with them. My two even ask at weekends if they’re going! They’ve made lifelong friends and continue to go with a big smile on their face. I also really commend all staff on dealing with the pandemic so well. We’ve been kept informed regularly, been given at-home resources and felt safe at every turn. It’s a great team of people that really care and we really value them all and what they’ve done for our family.

We would recommend to anyone.

I would definitely recommend Busy Bees. After having previously looked at a couple of nursery’s, when I went for the initial visit with my daughter I instantly felt at ease and was sure this was the right nursery for her. Any uneasy feelings I had about her starting nursery disappeared. She has settled in really well and is enjoying nursery this is down to the staff team and the excellent care she is receiving. From the very first day they have been tuned into my daughters needs, ways, likes and dislikes and really did all they could to help her settle in quickly. Her key worker has been amazing.

I transferred my children (aged 2 and 4) during the coronavirus pandemic. Obviously, this was an unsettling time for the children but the staff were incredibly welcoming and accommodating of their needs, especially taking into account the uncertain circumstances. They were very friendly and made sure both my children felt comforted when upset. I couldn’t believe how quickly they both settled into their new routine and their smiling faces at home time reassured me that I had chosen the right place for them.

My daughter started here in January 2020. She settled very quickly, and that is thanks to the wonderful staff! They made me feel very comfortable when leaving her for the first time and reassured me when I left the building in tears every day! When lockdown started, I was so worried about keeping my daughter off and settling her again. The nursery was absolutely amazing at keeping me updated with what was happening and how they were planning to move forward. All fees were stopped for children that didn’t attend and credit refunded for the payments already made. I was very emotional the day she went back after three months off, however, the ladies again were just fab, they reassured me and throughout the day sent pictures to the app for me to see my very happy child! I would highly recommend this nursery and can confidently say I leave her there with no worries and knowing she is being cared for well, loved and safe!

I not only have my child at Busy Bees now but also had my eldest there too. I find it difficult to put into words how incredible this nursery is. I very strongly feel that one of the reasons my eldest is as advanced as she is, is because of the staff at Busy Bees. My youngest, now in the setting, is content and extremely well cared for. I feel that all the staff are very personable and genuine. The settings manager is more than supportive of my needs as a fulltime working mother and will always do her very best to support me and my children. I am very grateful to all at Busy Bees for the care they gave to my eldest and now my youngest. Walking away fully trusting your child is in great care is an important feeling. Thank you.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this nursery to another parent. I actually knocked on the door to make an enquiry about our son attending this nursery and all the staff were extremely welcoming and offered to show my son and me around there and then, which I thought was a great sign. Right from this moment, all the staff have made us feel welcome and happy as a family. To see our son's smiling face when he arrives in the morning is the best indication we could have at how much he enjoys his time here. In the past 5 months he has been here, he has really developed in all aspects but particularly his personality and this is down to the fact that all the team embrace his character and make his day fun and happy. We love the fact that all members of staff know him by name, even those who are not in his age group. This gives us great confidence in how well he will be able to move happily through the age groups. Every member of the team is genuinely friendly and create a great atmosphere.

I am not normally a person to spend time leaving reviews, but such is the effort by this nursery and its staff it is the least I could do. Without a doubt, Busy Bees Trowbridge offers the best start you could possibly provide your child with before they begin their school life. The staff, lead by a great manager are exceptional, as is the environment in which your child can grow, play and learn. My son grew greatly in confidence whilst he was at Busy Bees and he loved the fact that he could easily go outside to play as each nursery room has its own direct access to its own outside play area. I only have two regrets in regards to this nursery and they are that I did not start my son there sooner and that he had to leave to go to school! Other than that you will not regret anything by choosing this nursery; the least any parent could do is at least visit it and then you will see what I mean.

My daughter absolutely loved going to nursery, she had a bond with all of the ladies, not just her own key worker. Keep doing what you're doing Busy Bees at Trowbridge.
