Kiddi Caru Day Nursery in Taunton is a well-established, purpose-built nursery rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted (February 2022). Located in Blackbrook Business Park with excellent transport links, they provide year-round care for children aged 0–5.

The nursery features eight spacious playrooms, three large gardens, a sensory room, and a calm, home-from-home environment. Their highly qualified team includes a dedicated SENCO and Forest School leader, supporting a wide range of enriching experiences.

My daughter has been attending Kiddi Caru Taunton since March 2020. They have been incredibly adaptable throughout the COVID-19 to ensure that children, parents and staff are all kept safe. My daughter (aged 19 months) talks about her key workers and room staff whenever we mention nursery, which shows
me that the staff are caring and present enough to leave a lasting impression on my daughter. Talking of staff, I cannot fault anyone that I’ve encountered, they’re all friendly and caring. The facilities are great, the planned activities are engaging and the meals are varied. Overall this is a great nursery, which I highly recommend.

From our show round, my little boy showed us this was his new nursery, he didn’t want to go home. He formed a lovely relationship with the manager and Deputy manager having to say Hi every morning when he passes the office. His first day he walked in like he had been there forever. As a parent, having
your child wave goodbye with confidence made me a happy mummy that I could go to work and know he was being cared for and loved. Thank you to the amazing Taunton team for a smooth transition and for your support.

Our daughter started with Kiddi Caru in Taunton 6 months ago, just before she turned one and we have had an extremely positive experience. During the tour (outside normal hours due to Covid) we were very impressed with the manager's enthusiasm and the overall ethos of the nursery and willingness to
use cloth nappies and offer a vegan menu. The staff have been extremely supportive of all our needs and requirements, including dietary and potty training. The food is amazing. Staff in her room and her key worker in particular are all fantastic, you feel like they really get to know the child as an individual and are as enthusiastic about her development as we are. At 17 months, she has now completed potty training, and staff there have been a huge part of making this possible so deserve a huge thank you for that. She now attends three days a week and is always excited to go, grabbing her bag and waiting by the door while we get ready.

At every stage, the nursery staff and management have been a fantastic support to both my son and myself. We have used the nursery from the age of 7 months until now (preschool). I can't praise the place enough.

We have found the staff at Kiddi Caru to be exceptional with helping to settle our little boy. Given the current circumstances, he has not been cared for by anyone else, so struggled with being left at the nursery to begin with. Kiddi Caru have gone above and beyond to accommodate us and help us feel
at ease in leaving our son. We receive good communication throughout the day and at the end of the day when we collect him. The staff are all very friendly and child-centred. We would highly recommend this nursery, based on our experience.

My son spent 3 years at this nursery until he started school recently and my daughter still attends. I would recommend it to any parent/carer. Great staff, food, entertainment and facilities and the staff have been fantastic throughout the Covid pandemic.

My son has been going here since he was 9-months and will be leaving in August for School. I couldn't have picked a better nursery/pre-school for my son. The staff are amazing and really care for all the children in their care. Every day, my son comes home having learnt something new.
The safety guards
that they have put in place for the past year and covid-19 is outstanding.
They are friendly and approachable, and I have made some good friendships that will last past my son leaving.
I cannot rate them highly enough.

My daughter has been attending Kiddi Caru since she was 1-year-old, she is now 3 and in pre school. From day one, she has been settled and happy. She goes in happily every morning and comes home happy, chatting away about her day. The staff have always been very supportive and go above and beyond to

My older son attended Kiddi Caru Taunton from 12 months until school age and my younger son is currently in pre-school there. It is a fantastic nursery and I would recommend it to anybody without hesitation. The staff are warm and friendly, greeting all the children by name as they start the day. The
activities they get up to are varied and fun for the children. There is a brilliant outdoor space which is used daily (weather permitting). The nursery is incredibly well managed; they have adapted to the current situation very well indeed and I feel that the nursery is a safe and secure environment at all times. I almost forgot the food is great too! I’m quite jealous when I find out what he’s had for lunch!

During the Covi-19 1st lockdown, I was in desperate need of a nursery space, being a key worker. The manager and the gang at Taunton were absolutely amazing. We didn’t know when my partner would be going back to work, so they were really flexible with the dates and squeezed us in when we were given
very little notice. Since then, the staff have worked tirelessly and round the clock to make sure everyone is safe. The staff are friendly and approachable, and nothing too big of an ask! Highly highly recommended - keep going guys, you're all doing a fab job!

My son started at Kiddi Caru last September and absolutely loves going. It took him a little while to get used to starting nursery and the staff were very patient during the initial period with him and with all my phone calls! It also works for us as a nursery because the hours are long but also flexible.
I would definitely recommend Kiddi Caru to other parents, all the kids there seem really happy and other parents I have spoken to are very pleased their children attend.

My son has been going to Kiddi Caru for the last 6 months, he absolutely loves it and settled in really well. The nursery staff are brilliant, very attentive to the children's individual needs and have really helped him develop his independence and confidence. It's really good to get an update from
the staff at the end of each day about what my son has been up to and eaten (he always seems to have seconds at lunch!). After the lockdown I was keen to start him back at childcare as he needed some stimulation and other children to play with, he seems to have made lots of friends in this class, which is great. I would definitely recommend Kiddi Caru.

I must say that Kiddi Caru has been amazing throughout everything going on. I have felt safe in the knowledge that my girls are cared for and having fun whilst I am at work. They have settled back in nursery extremely well after lockdown and that has to be a testament to the team in Taunton. My girls
are buzzing from their day’s activities and have always enjoyed the food provided. Both children gain so much from being there. Thank you Kiddi Caru Taunton.

My son has been attending Kiddi Caru Taunton for 4 months now, starting just after he turned one. I was nervous about him starting, worried he wouldn't settle but I needn't have been. The staff have been absolutely amazing and I've not had any worries about my son since his first day! I love getting
the daily updates about what he's been up to and getting art sent home with him occasionally. He always eats well and sleeps well and it's clear to see he enjoys his time there as he's always happy at drop off and collection. I would definitely recommend it to any of my friends.

Our daughter had been at this nursery for a year now and we have been continually impressed. She is cared for wonderfully by all staff and she really enjoys it. Communication is excellent - both written and verbal handover each day and there are frequently photos of them having fun and crafts brought
home that they have made that day. Communication from the office has always been excellent, with immediate responses to any queries. During the pandemic especially, when things have been very difficult for everyone, the communication of policies and procedures has been excellent and they have offered support to all parents and carers. I would certainly recommend this nursery to everyone!

Kiddi Caru in Taunton is an absolutely fantastic nursery! My husband and I knew we were in a great environment from the moment we were welcomed in for our tour of the facilities (in pre-Covid times). We could see how caring and attentive the staff were with the children, our questions (there were many
- as we are first time parents) were listened to and answered thoroughly. Once our little one started nursery in October 2020 our fears about how they would get on quickly vanished as we had daily updates and handovers about what they’d been up to and how their day had been. To see how much they’ve developed and progressed over the last 4 months is incredible and that’s in no small part down to the excellent care and educational setting of Kiddi Caru.

Lovely nursery, they have been fantastic through lockdown and very supportive since my son returned. He was very nervous and upset at drop off but they were so reassuring, it didn't take him long before he was happily walking in every morning. I would definitely recommend!

Having our child start nursery during the COVID pandemic has been an added challenge, however, everyone at Kiddi Caru has been helpful and understanding. My worries about our little one finding it hard to adjust given that the pandemic which has meant reduced opportunities to do so much out of the home
with others were completed unfounded - he even napped on his first settling in visits! He appears to enjoy his days at nursery and shows no apprehension about going in in the mornings.
Whilst we can’t currently see them in their rooms (due to COVID and the need to socially distance), I have seen him through the window on the collection, playing with others, smiling (shouting!) and having cuddles from the lovely team members in his room. He often comes home with muddy overalls, glitter in his eyebrows and paints on his clothes - all signs that he has definitely been having a good time!
The transition from maternity leave back to work has definitely been made easier as a result!
