Kiddi Caru Day Nursery Taunton

My son has been attending Kiddi Caru Taunton for 4 months now, starting just after he turned one. I was nervous about him starting, worried he wouldn't settle but I needn't have been. The staff have been absolutely amazing and I've not had any worries about my son since his first day! I love getting the daily updates about what he's been up to and getting art sent home with him occasionally. He always eats well and sleeps well and it's clear to see he enjoys his time there as he's always happy at drop off and collection. I would definitely recommend it to any of my friends.

Our daughter had been at this nursery for a year now and we have been continually impressed. She is cared for wonderfully by all staff and she really enjoys it. Communication is excellent - both written and verbal handover each day and there are frequently photos of them having fun and crafts brought home that they have made that day. Communication from the office has always been excellent, with immediate responses to any queries. During the pandemic especially, when things have been very difficult for everyone, the communication of policies and procedures has been excellent and they have offered support to all parents and carers. I would certainly recommend this nursery to everyone!

Kiddi Caru in Taunton is an absolutely fantastic nursery! My husband and I knew we were in a great environment from the moment we were welcomed in for our tour of the facilities (in pre-Covid times). We could see how caring and attentive the staff were with the children, our questions (there were many - as we are first time parents) were listened to and answered thoroughly. Once our little one started nursery in October 2020 our fears about how they would get on quickly vanished as we had daily updates and handovers about what they’d been up to and how their day had been. To see how much they’ve developed and progressed over the last 4 months is incredible and that’s in no small part down to the excellent care and educational setting of Kiddi Caru.

Lovely nursery, they have been fantastic through lockdown and very supportive since my son returned. He was very nervous and upset at drop off but they were so reassuring, it didn't take him long before he was happily walking in every morning. I would definitely recommend!

The transition from maternity leave back to work has definitely been made easier as a result!

Every member of staff I have come into contact with has been friendly and helpful, it really has been a breath of fresh air. My son always leave with a huge smile on his face which is the most important thing!

This is a wonderful nursery and the staff go out of their way to make your child and you feel welcome. My son has recently returned to nursery and has found this a little difficult, but the staff are so supportive and patient with him. The facilities are clean and there are a variety of things for the children to do that enable them to learn and develop. The food provided is also of great quality and my son always enjoys his meals there. Highly recommended.

I’d just like to say thank you so much to everyone at Kiddi Caru that played a part in both of my sons' time at the nursery. We would definitely recommend the nursery to anyone. When we first set out to find a nursery for our eldest son back in 2017 Kiddi Caru stood out for us, head and shoulders above the rest. We’re so glad that we choose this nursery, it’s done wonders for both of our boys and we are sad to be leaving.

We are sad to be leaving Kiddi Caru Taunton. My son has been with them since eight months old, he’s now three. He has grown into such a smart, confident and chatty boy and has come along so much with the help of nursery. The keyworkers he’s had along the way have been great with him and he always has a good day there. The menu they have for the children and all the activities they have available are next to none. This nursery has taught my children so much, it's been amazing and I've loved my childrens time here. All the staff are amazing and so friendly and always have the time to talk to you.

This is my second son to attend Kiddi Caru and I really couldn’t fault it. They are fantastic and recommend them all the time.

Outstanding development skills which Kiddi Caru has given my child, who loves it there so much, her clothes always come home covered in paint, flour, etc. - but easily washes out. Staff always well knowledgeable and friendly.

A fantastic nursery, I’m really glad we send our son here and our second son will certainly be joining him. The staff are friendly, the nursery is clean and he eats 3 full healthy meals per day and seems to really enjoy himself whilst learning and developing his social skills. I thoroughly recommend Kiddi Caru Taunton.

Our daughter has been attending Kiddi Caru for about two and a half years now. She absolutely loves it there, she runs in with a massive smile every morning and we are very happy with the care she receives. The staff in Damson room are brilliant; they are always very welcoming when we arrive to drop off or collect and have built a great relationship with our daughter. They always find time for a quick chat about our daughter's day (what she's eaten, what activities she's done etc) and we really appreciate this. Our daughter clearly enjoys the activities and resources at the nursery; her letters and sounds and number recognition are constantly improving and she loves the singing, signing and music classes and all the outside time they get. The food provided at the nursery is also to a very high standard and we know our daughter is eating freshly made and healthy meals. Thank you Kiddi Caru and a particular big thank you to staff in Damson room!

The downside is there is a cap on the number of free hours entitlement you can claim once your child is 3, despite having paid a higher tariff up until this point. This also doesn’t apply to all customers. The admin of the finances has always been very hit and miss. Parents have to check every detail to pick up mistakes made by the nursery.

I am so glad I chose to send my daughter to Kiddi Caru. Each morning she goes she is eager to get inside which shows me how much she loves it there. Great range of activities and experiences especially the ducklings last week - they definitely went down well! Staff are very friendly and approachable. The communication between nursery and parent is really good especially the monthly email about what each room at the nursery has been doing. Really impressed.

I've been absolutely thrilled with the nursery and everything in it. My daughter loves going to nursery, the people who care for her and the activities they do there. Couldn't recommend Kiddi Caru highly enough!

Facility's and equipment are fantastic
