Kiddi Caru Day Nursery in Taunton is a well-established, purpose-built nursery rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted (February 2022). Located in Blackbrook Business Park with excellent transport links, they provide year-round care for children aged 0–5.

The nursery features eight spacious playrooms, three large gardens, a sensory room, and a calm, home-from-home environment. Their highly qualified team includes a dedicated SENCO and Forest School leader, supporting a wide range of enriching experiences.

Their curriculum follows the EYFS and is enhanced by unique programmes such as Make & Bake, Move & Groove, and Innovate & Investigate. Children also enjoy yoga, Boogie Mites, and Sing & Sign. An on-site chef prepares balanced, dietitian-approved meals daily.

My son started at Kiddi Caru in Taunton a couple of weeks ago. He previously went to a different nursery in Taunton and I was really anxious about moving him.
I have been so impressed with how the nursery is run and the different practices that they’ve adopted, especially with the current situation.
The communication has been amazing, the daily updates on what my son has been doing, the things he has eaten and how he has been in himself have really helped to put my mind at ease.
Every member of staff I have come into contact with has been friendly and helpful, it really has been a breath of fresh air. My son always leave with a huge smile on his face which is the most important thing!

This is a wonderful nursery and the staff go out of their way to make your child and you feel welcome. My son has recently returned to nursery and has found this a little difficult, but the staff are so supportive and patient with him. The facilities are clean and there are a variety of things for the
children to do that enable them to learn and develop. The food provided is also of great quality and my son always enjoys his meals there. Highly recommended.

I’d just like to say thank you so much to everyone at Kiddi Caru that played a part in both of my sons' time at the nursery. We would definitely recommend the nursery to anyone. When we first set out to find a nursery for our eldest son back in 2017 Kiddi Caru stood out for us, head and shoulders above
the rest. We’re so glad that we choose this nursery, it’s done wonders for both of our boys and we are sad to be leaving.

We are sad to be leaving Kiddi Caru Taunton. My son has been with them since eight months old, he’s now three. He has grown into such a smart, confident and chatty boy and has come along so much with the help of nursery. The keyworkers he’s had along the way have been great with him and he always has
a good day there. The menu they have for the children and all the activities they have available are next to none. Thank you so much for all you’ve done. All the best.

Outstanding development skills which Kiddi Caru has given my child, who loves it there so much, her clothes always come home covered in paint, flour, etc. - but easily washes out. Staff always well knowledgeable and friendly.

A fantastic nursery, I’m really glad we send our son here and our second son will certainly be joining him. Kiddi Caru has been an important environment for both of our children, from the baby room right up through to preschool. They continue to offer a welcoming and fulfilling environment and regularly update individualised learning goals.
Our children have found it easy to bond with the carers and we feel
trusting in the team. Where there are any areas of anxiety we have felt reassured by their advice and actions.
The food prepared for the children is fresh, varied and nutritious and they give them regular time outside to play and explore.
We would recommend Kiddi Caru to our friends and family and thank them for their continued dedication to our children’s learning and development.

Our daughter has been attending Kiddi Caru for about two and a half years now. She absolutely loves it there, she runs in with a massive smile every morning and we are very happy with the care she receives. The staff in Damson room are brilliant; they are always very welcoming when we arrive to drop
off or collect and have built a great relationship with our daughter. They always find time for a quick chat about our daughter's day (what she's eaten, what activities she's done etc) and we really appreciate this. Our daughter clearly enjoys the activities and resources at the nursery; her letters and sounds and number recognition are constantly improving and she loves the singing, signing and music classes and all the outside time they get. The food provided at the nursery is also to a very high standard and we know our daughter is eating freshly made and healthy meals. Thank you Kiddi Caru and a particular big thank you to staff in Damson room!

The care my daughter receives is excellent. The nursery room staff are fantastic and support her learning, development and wellbeing brilliantly. She loves coming to nursery. Facilities are also very good.
The downside is there is a cap on the number of free hours entitlement you can claim once your
child is 3, despite having paid a higher tariff up until this point. This also doesn’t apply to all customers. The admin of the finances has always been very hit and miss. Parents have to check every detail to pick up mistakes made by the nursery.

I am so glad I chose to send my daughter to Kiddi Caru. Each morning she goes she is eager to get inside which shows me how much she loves it there. Great range of activities and experiences especially the ducklings last week - they definitely went down well! Staff are very friendly and approachable.
The communication between nursery and parent is really good especially the monthly email about what each room at the nursery has been doing. Really impressed.

The staff is very friendly and kind. I would like that after each day they give the parents a summary of the activities to take home. Each day they indicate the amount of food, diaper changes and sleep time. I recommend this nursery.
