Kiddi Caru Day Nursery in Taunton is a well-established, purpose-built nursery rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted (February 2022). Located in Blackbrook Business Park with excellent transport links, they provide year-round care for children aged 0–5.

The nursery features eight spacious playrooms, three large gardens, a sensory room, and a calm, home-from-home environment. Their highly qualified team includes a dedicated SENCO and Forest School leader, supporting a wide range of enriching experiences.

Their curriculum follows the EYFS and is enhanced by unique programmes such as Make & Bake, Move & Groove, and Innovate & Investigate. Children also enjoy yoga, Boogie Mites, and Sing & Sign. An on-site chef prepares balanced, dietitian-approved meals daily.

My little one loves it, he is happy there since day one. The staff always let you know by calling if something happened even if your child is fine.
Friendly staff, nothing is ever an issue. Great outdoor space and short feedback provided on pick up time.

Kiddi Caru is such a happy, welcoming place. Kiddi Caru has everything a child needs in nursery and the staff are all brilliant. My little boy loves going to nursery and seeing his key worker and all his friends. The staff are amazing.

My son has only attended for a few months and after a wobbly first few drop offs, he has settled into Kiddi Caru so well! The staff are amazing and the bond he has made with them is lovely to see! His learning, development and skills have improved so much in the short time he has attended. The updates

Great care and service for my little one. Kiddi Caru Day Nursery feels to us like home away from home. I am happy we chose your nursery for our daughter. Even though it was one of the very few options available at the time we arrived in the UK, I must say the excellent environment created a great atmosphere

My little one absolutely loves going to Kiddi Caru Nursery. At home time, he always comes out with a big smile and has participated in a variety of different activities throughout the day. All the staff are friendly and welcoming and happy to answer any questions I have. There is a wide variety of food
available to the children and they cater really well to any/all allergies.

We have had a very positive experience at Kiddi Caru. The staff all seem very caring and just want the best for my child.
Their sensory room and outdoor space are fab and I love that they have animals for the children to engage with too.

I've been part of the Kiddi Caru Taunton family since 2017 where they have looked after my two daughters. I can't speak more highly about the entire nursery - everything from the staff to the environment to the food is fantastic. The staff in particular are excellent, extremely professional and caring
- both of my daughters flourished in their care. The variety of food offered is excellent and the activities and learning opportunities provided for all children are just brilliant. Highly recommend to any parents. Thank you to the manager and team!

The nursery have been great. Our son comes home trying new things and developing so well. The nursery always listen when we had to change his diet for a few weeks or change his schedule when he dropped naps etc. They really have made him and us as parents feel comfortable.

The nursery was fantastic in the first few years, then covid, this was problematic any way you look at it, but in most instances, the team at Kiddi Caru was great and went above and beyond.
The final year was more problematic hence the review. On several occasions of collecting child early due to a
lack of staff, which we oblige but were never recompensed for, an incident where the nursery closed but never recompensed for, and numerous occasions of our child coming home with an injury, where no one had seen it or it had been logged but not always logged. Sometimes our child told us she had incidents, always other children assaulting ours. An incident where our property was damaged by another child and we had to replace this at a cost to us. The final year just felt there was no control. The final straw involved ruining my child's birthday by not distributing her invites and allowing another child to destroy them, which meant that no children were coming to her party. If she hadn't been going to school we would have moved her.

When my son started he was a bit wobbly but soon found he got on well with the staff and this carried on throughout his 3 years with Kiddi Caru. The staff have always been encouraging and keen to share progress in the early stages. The transitioning between rooms was never a concern and I've always
felt in the know when anything needed to change regarding routines. The staff are fabulous. Food has always been highly rated by my son who often had seconds. My son loved his time at nursery and I am so grateful!

My son recently left Kiddi Caru Taunton to go to school. His experience there was a very positive one, the staff are friendly, my son liked two members of staff in particular (before one of them left), but all staff seemed caring and well organised.

My daughter absolutely loved coming to the nursery. The staff are absolutely amazing, caring and very knowledgeable. They know the kids inside and out and have a great bond with them. Facilities are great, always clean and tidy. Food is outstanding - whenever I walk in and they are cooking I want to
eat their food myself - smells soo good.
They care about each child and ensure they feel safe and secure. Development of kids is one of the biggest priorities and that enables kids to grow and become confident.
We are extremely grateful for everything they have done for our daughter for the 4 years she has been going there. She started school now but we will always recommend and sing praises to Kiddi Caru Taunton!

Kiddi Caru and the team at Taunton cannot be faulted. Having moved our child from another nursery in Taunton as we were unhappy with the service offered there, the team in the Cherry room have been nothing but excellent. Our son is always challenged, engaged, motivated and comes home excited, enthusiastic
and ready for the next day. His development has come on leaps and bounds and the communication at the end of the day with the team is excellent, helping us understand what is going on at nursery and how he is developing. Really love Kiddi Caru Taunton. My boys love it and the staff are so good with the kids. And the management are very helpful and approachable too!


My oldest goes to primary school in September and he is going to miss his room and the staff so much! And so am I. They have been fabulous from day one!


My youngest has really come out of his shell since being there. And as a lockdown-born baby his interaction with others was limited. But his development has come on leaps and bounds since joining the nursery environment. He was a little shy with new people. But he loves the staff now. Especially his key worker


I can’t recommend them highly enough!

We have two children at the nursery and could not be happier with the love, care, learning and environment offered. The staff are wonderful and create a lovely atmosphere for the children to grow in. Always clean, staff are always happy to help and listen and excelled in lockdown and the aftermath.
The manager is excellent. Highly recommended.
