Jabberwocky Childrens Nursery Ltd is a private full day care setting.
It offers a purpose-built interior that is suited to the development and learning potential of all children.

It is an excellent nursery with a wonderful home from home feel with highly qualified staff. Staff at Jabberwocky have excellent and varied experience in the childcare sector. This gives Jabberwocky a diversity of skills and ideas which helps them provide children with a very wide range of activities and learning opportunities.

They offer an enhanced provision for children that goes above and beyond the normal activities on offer. The enhanced provision includes extracurricular activities which include; Forest School, Football with coach, PE with coach, French with Sarah, Boogie Beat with Carrie, school readiness programme, outings in the local area to provide children with real life learning opportunities. Visits to the local residential home and much more.

The nursery has its own outdoor play areas and use of the beautiful Arboretum which is the nursery's Forest School, allowing for a greater depth of activities to be enjoyed.

The service was established with the philosophy that children need to be nurtured in a loving, inspiring and fulfilling environment. Learning is effortless when experienced through joy, play and exploration.

My daughter has been coming to this nursery since she was 11 months old. The care she has been given is 10/10. Even still to this day at 3 years old. She went back after a holiday and they settled her back in. And was even extra careful as she had an accident well on
Holiday.

WOW what a nursery! Couldn't ask for a better setting or team for my now 4 and a half year old. He has been there since 8 and a half months and the experiences he has been able to achieve from being here is second to none. Jabberwocky have helped to build my child into the resilient, risk taking ray
of sunshine that he is and I couldn't have asked for better. The staff are incredible, creating wonderful relationships with my 4 year old. They ensure that my youngests day is fun filled whether it be trips in the van or to the forest school site not too far from the setting where children are encouraged to risk take, learn about the environment and most of all HAVE FUN! There is also weekly activities from football, pe and boogie beats that my child loves aswell as annual visits from businesses such as zoo lab! I'll be sad to see him leave in a few weeks. They have been the best to kick start his Early Years journey! Couldn't ask for better. Thankyou all!

My son has the most fantastic time at Jabberwocky. Whenever he is dropped off, he has open arms ready to start another fun filled day. My son has gained so much confidence from being at nursery. As parents, we love the communication we get from the staff. We love hearing what activities our son gets
up to. I always have great confidence in the staff. For example, we are kept up to date with how our son's day has gone. From the food he has eaten to the activities he has done. As parents, we feel our son is in a safe and supported environment to grow up in.

Jabberwocky is an amazing nursery that provides so much potential for the little ones. It offers an amazing forestry school that is brilliant for my little girl, who loves being outside and seeing all the animals they have. They have been so supportive and caring throughout and very understanding of
my situation which made me anxious to put my little girl into nursery, but they made it as easy and comfortable as possible for me and my little one. I can't recommend them more highly, I couldn't have asked for a better nursery for my girl and I give them my highest compliments.

We recently moved to the area and my daughter settled into Jabberwocky Children's Nursery incredibly quickly, thanks to the amazing staff. They are so warm, caring and supportive which has made her so happy to go there each day. I really appreciate the variety of extra activities they offer, as well

Jabberwocky have provided a safe, warm and happy environment that is perfect for my little one. He has a huge smile on his face when I drop him off, and an even bigger one when I pick him up! The activities and trips out that they provide are fantastic and so are the facilities. He seems to eat really
well, and gets to try lots of new foods which is a bonus. All the staff are lovely - we couldn't have found a better nursery!

Our daughter absolutely thrived attending this nursery. She was 11 months when she started and the team in the baby room put my worries about leaving her at ease. The staff were friendly, warm and clearly love the children in their care. That's all you want as a parent, to know your child is having
a home from home experience with kind and caring people.
Our daughter absolutely loved the day trips to the beach and forest school, as well as all the activities they programmed to keep the days varied.
Communication of her day was always very thorough and clear. I loved the daily log book and staff debrief.
It's the staff and the extra curricular activities that sets this nursery apart. It's a special place and we'll always remember our time there fondly.

Couldn't ask for a more friendly team working with the little ones. Speaking from experience in all age groups with a 4-year-old who has just left the nursery and a 1.5-year-old who started his nursery journey at 9 months old. Very helpful and super hands-on with lots of trips and activities. The children
always come out smiling. Although not one of the cheapest nurseries, you get what you pay for and everything is provided, food, nappies, baby formula, sun cream, etc if takes away the rush of mornings not worrying about packing a lunch or if you've forgotten something. I love that the little ones get to go experience lots of different activities that some parents wouldn't be able to do/attend. With 2 boys, being able to be outside is a huge must so Forest school days have always been perfect for them. They get to go do seasonal activities, sunflower picking, beach days, exploring nature, football club, attending care homes, etc, I 100% recommend it to those who have the opportunity.

Jabberwocky is an amazing place to send my little one, the education, nurturing and life skills the staff provide is outstanding. Along with a well-varied nutritious meal offering all local organic food produce. They provide everything (nappies, wipes, sun cream, milk) all is needed is to send in my
child with a spare pair of clothes.
The extra activities they provide from forest school, football, boogie beats, walks to the local park, using the local bus transport to visit other places to various outings in the nursery's minibus are all exciting experiences for the little ones.

I couldn't rate this nursery more highly. Our son started in the baby room when he was 1 and has just left the nursery aged 4. The staff are caring and engaging with the children, the forest school is such a unique learning and play opportunity. My son enjoyed the extra provisions that came in. He has
some additional health issues and SEN and the staff have been brilliant with these, including helping with the EHCP process and school transition.

I've been incredibly impressed with the outstanding care provided at Jabberwocky Childrens Nursery. The staff go above and beyond to create a nurturing and stimulating environment for the children. One of the standout features is their Forest School program, which allows kids to explore and learn outdoors,

The nursery also incorporates exciting activities like bus journeys and visits to local care homes, which broaden the children's experiences and understanding of the world around them. My grandchildren go to this nursery and have done since they were babies. They love going to school, to see their friends and the staff. The staff are very friendly, and knowledgeable. The children are very well cared for with plenty of things to do, from forest school, trips out in the minibus or going

Brilliant nursery, and extremely friendly. They are thoughtful regarding each individual child and create safe, exceptional ideas in order for the children to have fun.

My son has been at Jabberwocky Childrens Nursery for six months now (1 year - 18 months) and always seems to have had the best time, whenever I pick him up he is so happy and points to go back in.
The staff are wonderful with him and I love hearing about the day he has had with them.
He has developed
so much while at nursery, like learning actions to songs and sign language and spends lots of time outdoors and messy play, which he loves. We are so pleased we chose Jabberwocky and have nothing bad to say about it.

My two little girls aged 3 and 1 attend Jabberwocky Childrens Nursery three times a week, since they’ve started I have noticed a huge improvement in every aspect of their development. I cannot recommend Jabberwocky enough - to anyone looking for the very best childcare, Jabberwocky is it! I know that
in years to come I will be very grateful my children have attended such a great setting, giving them the best start to their early education.

I cannot recommend Jabberwocky Nursery enough. My daughter has thrived since joining in January 2023. She literally runs in every day. The staff are all so incredibly lovely and genuinely care for the children. My daughter’s key worker in the baby room, who we call her second mum, has been faultless.
My daughter asks for her daily. I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better keyworker and I couldn’t trust her more. They do so much extra than other nurseries I know.

My grandson has recently started at the nursery and has been thriving in the short time he has been attending. He is always happy to go and always welcomed on arrival by the staff. The nursery has also been very supportive of my daughter in accommodating my grandson, for which we are very thankful.

My son has been attending Jabberwockys for 16 months and he adores it there. He gets to do way more than I can do for him at home. Singing and dancing classes, a football coach, water play, painting, exploring and so much more. They go out on day trips to their fantastic forest school, down to the
market to buy things they need for their projects and on longer trips out in the minibus. The staff are kind, caring and just so fantastic with the kids. If I could pay one of them to live with me I would! I think I'm going to be quite upset when the time comes for him to go to school but my baby will be heading there soon without a doubt.
