Seeing the smile on her face when they are playing with her makes it a lot easier for me to return back to work.

My daughter has made good friends there and talks positively about the staff. They can also handle my exuberant daughter brilliantly to channel her energy but encourage her too, which is so important.

They do soo much with them, from forest school and everything they have there, to cooking, baking, painting and going to the shops and markets.

This setting is the most incredible place I have ever come across. The care shown to the children from every member there is exemplary. All staff know the children, regardless of their room and place; they take the time to get to know the individuals in their care. The rooms are packed with beautiful resources to encourage growth, development, curiosity and play. They do so much outdoors, as well as being inside. The children have awe and wonder for their environment supported by regular forest school visits and the lovely outdoor area, as well as music and movement and exciting trips out to farms and visitors- recently exotic animals! There is nothing that is too much for the staff to do for you to ensure your child is happy. They take the time to feedback the day, report regularly on their development and share with you via conversations, their journal and the app. I couldn't be happier here as a parent and my child is excited about coming in each time she arrives.

I would highly recommend Jabberwocky to anyone looking for a nursery for their child; it is truly fantastic.

I'll be honest, our child struggled to settle to start with, but together with Jabberwocky's, we instigated little ways to help. Being responsible for taking small toys and books home and returning them at the next session to creating a folder with all of the nursey team member so we could talk at home about nursery. It really is a great partnership, and we have one very happy settled child. Highly recommend this wonderful nursey.

We’ve experienced several nurseries, and we now commute 40-minutes each way so our children can experience the best provision we’ve ever come across. The balance between the nature-led, holistic forest school approach, with thoughtful and regular excursions (for example to buy Christmas trees, choose sandwich-making bread from local bakeries, experience touring art shows, or garden centres to buy new plants), with disco’s, visiting football coaches, visiting scientists, animals and weekly cooking classes is truly the best of both worlds and the only nursery I’ve come across to do both sides so well. The staff are unbelievable, kind, energetic, innovative and super dedicated. I would recommend Jabberwocky to anyone and everyone. We feel very, very lucky to be able to have both our children experience this wonderful place.

Jabberwocky is a place of love, kindness, fun, joy and learning. I cannot recommend Jabberwocky enough. My daughter has been going since she was 8-months in the middle of a global pandemic, and they've been amazing. She absolutely loves her time there. Excellent food and what seems like unlimited daily activities. The importance of being outside and experiencing nature is at the heart of what they do. She has become so social and developed tremendously. The team give me an update each day she is collected and truly care for the children at their nursery. Thank you for everything you do!

Would definitely recommend the playgroup to anyone that was looking for child care.

The staff even provided parents with hot chocolate and homemade cookies at pick up this week - they really do go the extra mile everyday! If you need a nursery for your child I really would highly recommend Jabberwocky they are amazing!

Their ethos incorporates looking after our world.

They are eco-conscience and use a lot of natural play items, and themes and they give the children opportunities to explore in a safe but meaningful way. They have homemade meals cooked on-site by their own cook. There is outdoor areas on site, which are full of interesting things to explore, and when able they explore local sites too.

When it came to looking for a nursery for our first child, Jabberwocky to us was the obvious choice. Having looked at other options, nowhere felt as warm and welcoming as here and we have gone on to send our second child here too. The staff are wonderful, you get a real sense that they genuinely care about the children and want to provide the best experience for them. A big draw for us was the space they have and having a kitchen on-site to provide home-cooked meals. Over the past 18 months a huge amount of effort and money has gone into refurbishing the inside and outside space, in addition to this is their forest school which provides an amazing outside learning space which is very important to us. You continually get the feeling they are striving to make it the best it can be for the little ones and our two certainly love it. A big thank you to all the staff!

I am so impressed with everything that this nursery does. I love the energy, smiles and laughter that the team bring to the children and the parents! It’s like one big family. Thank you Jabberwocky team for just simply being amazing!

They tell me about the friendships they have made with the staff and their peers and are always happy at drop off and pick up.

My son has settled into Jabberwocky extremely well, his key person is amazing and has made this process smooth. He talks about his day at home and creates pictures to bring in the following day for his key person.

My little girl has attended Jabberwocky since 9 months old and she absolutely loves it. This is down to the amazing service that the nursery and all its staff provide. They go above and beyond and I love hearing about all the different activities that they offer. It is a beautiful setting and I would recommend Jabberwocky to any other parent.
