Jabberwocky Childrens Nursery Ltd is a private full day care setting.
It offers a purpose-built interior that is suited to the development and learning potential of all children.

It is an excellent nursery with a wonderful home from home feel with highly qualified staff. Staff at Jabberwocky have excellent and varied experience in the childcare sector. This gives Jabberwocky a diversity of skills and ideas which helps them provide children with a very wide range of activities and learning opportunities.

They offer an enhanced provision for children that goes above and beyond the normal activities on offer. The enhanced provision includes extracurricular activities which include; Forest School, Football with coach, PE with coach, French with Sarah, Boogie Beat with Carrie, school readiness programme, outings in the local area to provide children with real life learning opportunities. Visits to the local residential home and much more.

The nursery has its own outdoor play areas and use of the beautiful Arboretum which is the nursery's Forest School, allowing for a greater depth of activities to be enjoyed.

The service was established with the philosophy that children need to be nurtured in a loving, inspiring and fulfilling environment. Learning is effortless when experienced through joy, play and exploration.

My children love all that Jabberwocky offers, they have both been going since they were 6months old. There is a very varied programme on offer, which plays to imagination and variation. There is a great focus towards outdoor activities as much as possible, from going to the park, exploring to find leaves
and bugs, to weekly activities like football, tennis and forest school. There is a large programme which caters to all abilities and includes everyone.
There is not a high staff turnover at Jabberwocky, which goes some way to show, it's a very kind and caring place to work. All the staff always have a smile on their faces and are always happy to engage with every child.
Food is freshly prepared and cooked every day, with morning snacks, lunch and afternoon snacks provided. Jabberwocky provides a comprehensive varied meal plan and are always trying new menus with the child.

Jabberwocky are my second family as I live far away from mine. I couldn’t do without them or how they care for my 2-year-old. My key worker has an incredible bond with my daughter and there are many other team members who really click with her too. The opening hours are perfect to fit with my work and
they’ve also been flexible when I’ve needed to change days as my family circumstances have changed. The children head outside lots to play. We work together on behaviour which is needed with the wilfulness of toddlers! I couldn’t ask for more.

I am extremely grateful for all of the hard-working staff at Jabberwocky for looking after my 15-month-old daughter. She was a little unsettled to start with but they have gone above and beyond to make sure she is settled and meeting her every need. The variety of activities they have to offer on a
day to day basis is outstanding and always to the highest standards. I am also very pleased with the high standards of the cooked meals that are provided giving my daughter a wide variety of meals during her time at nursery. Thank you for giving my daughter the best start in her life.

Both of our children attend Jabberwocky Children's Nursery Ltd. The service we receive is excellent. Both enjoy coming to the nursery every day and have an amazing time.

The extracurricular activities that are on offer are outstanding. My son enjoys his experiences and happily attends nursery without any concerns. He settled with ease, has made great relationships with both staff and children and continues to flourish in all areas of his development.

Staff are always friendly and welcoming. So many fun activities for children of all ages. I have a 3 year old and 1 year old currently at this nursery.
They encourage a lot of messy play which is fab! My daughter loves tennis and football with the coach and is looking forward to starting Forest School.
They have a homemade freshly cooked meal every day and thoroughly enjoy it. As a parent, I can go to work and know that my children are being looked after well and are having a brilliant time!

The staff at Jabberwocky are great, always happy to help. My child is currently in the under 2's room and the staff in there are amazing. They have given me the confidence to leave my child four days a week so I can go to work. If my child is upset and I am a little anxious leaving him that morning,
one of the staff will always ring and let me know all is ok.

Both our boys have attended Jabberwocky Childrens Nursery since they were 9 months old. They are now 5 and 3 !We cannot fault the caring , nurturing environment that Jabberwocky provide . The staff are amazing and have really pushed our boys to develop socially and educationally. The Nursery / pre school
have a fantastic choice of extra curricular activities to suit all interests which our boys have thoroughly enjoyed.
