Partou Westfields Day Nursery & Pre-school

The detailed daily online updates and photos are very much appreciated, particularly during the current Covid restrictions (which are handled very well by the nursery). We love seeing the many activities and adventures the children have had during the day. The song time videos and photos of yoga and playing in the garden are particular favourites.

We would highly recommend Westfields Day Nursery. Our two-year-old daughter has been attending for almost 12 months and she’s very settled and happy there. The staff are lovely, very caring and attentive. The activities are engaging and it’s always nice to read on Tapestry what she’s been up to! A final note about the catering which sounds delicious. Our daughter is always fed well with lots of tasty healthy food provided. Thank you, Westfields!

I would highly recommend Westfields to anyone. My daughter is always very happy to come in and loves the huge variety of activities and the fact that she can choose activities. She loves the different variety of rooms and the outdoor area. The staff are amazing and are great with organising different seasonal activities.

Our daughter has attended Westfields since she was 14 months, and we are really happy with all Westfields offer. The staff there are great and really take time to get to know the parents as well. The food is exceptional and we love that we have the resume every day that fresh, home-cooked food is available. The cost is much higher than other high rating nurseries. However, given our daughter's time there we would not be looking at moving her to another setting.

We're really happy with the experience at Westfields, and especially since my child has moved to the toddler room. We have been so impressed with the staff in the toddler room. Approachable, engaged and seem to really know/understand my child. Day to day the nursery communicate well (on occasions I've thought it might be nice to have more insights into daily activities, though appreciate you can't cover everything in a busy handover). Overall, we couldn't be much happier!

Our son loves it at Westfields the staff care for him beautifully. He loves the huge garden and fun atmosphere.

Westfield offers a warm and friendly environment that has really helped my child flourish and grow in confidence. She looks forward to going in and talks about staff with fondness when at home. Staff always take the time to talk to you during handovers and get to know each individual child.

Children are really looked after. There is a 'warm' feel to the nursery which I felt the moment I walked in. The staff know all the children's names very quickly and all say 'hi' even if they are not in the same room. They take the time to get to know the parents. I like that they don't play with plastic.

My child's caregiver is first-rate. We could not ask any more from her. She is wonderfully kind and nurturing. The evidence of this is clear in our chid as he has developed enormously and is thriving. The nursery is, overall, excellent. The staff can't be criticised, but there are some policies that are questionable. For example, fees are very expensive anyway but to charge a premium for mid-week days is punitive for those parents who can't choose their work pattern around it. Likewise, charging for days that the nursery does not open for is inconsiderate. The invoicing is not always accurate either.

Both of my children have really enjoyed coming to Westfields. The staff have always been really caring and have adapted to the individual needs of my children. The food is excellent, everything is homemade and very tasty I understand!

Westfields offer a clean, welcoming environment to both me and my children. The staff are friendly, professional, offer a nurturing approach and work with me to provide my children with the best care to learn, grow, develop and in recent months prepare for starting school.

At times, the nursery has been slow to respond to certain requests that require escalation however, if within their control are proactive and helpful.

Parking at peak times can be tricky especially with two children.

In recent months, the nursery has had a "makeover" and looks bright and inviting.

Overall, I have been very happy with Westfields and would recommend it to parents looking for daycare.

We were first drawn to Westfields Day Nursery due to the staff and they have been brilliant. They genuinely know and care for our daughter and as first-time parents, we are really reassured by this. Our daughter (one-year-old) is eating really well, trying new foods and is very comfortable playing in her new surroundings. She is very comfortable with the staff and seems keen to go in the mornings so we couldn't ask for more.

They were a little inflexible on settling in sessions, we went from a 2-hour session to his first full day which was quite a jump for us.

Overall, we are very happy our daughter is at Westfields.

He has now settled well. I am unable to comment on a lot of questions as I only do the drop offs.

A well-run nursery with friendly baby room who take time to understand the children and parents needs. Very pleased with the care they offer. They're willing to share positive parenting tips and really brought our little one along.

The new manager is making a really positive impact too.

I moved my three-year-old son to this nursery based on convenience of location to start with but also because I’d heard it was good from friends with children there. It has been a brilliant decision as he has settled wonderfully. I think the staff are fantastic and so caring and thorough. The resources are great and I love the focus on real objects to play with, rather than lots of plastic.

The staff at Westfields are amazing, they are dedicated and caring to nurture children and seeing them develop. They were flexible, compassionate and supportive when I was in hospital and offered extra sessions for my son, the facilities are great and my little boy loves playing in the garden!
