Partou Westfields Day Nursery & Pre-school has a long-established reputation as the leading provider of childcare in Cheltenham, offering outstanding care to children aged 3 months to 5 years and are open from 8.00am to 6.00pm Monday - Friday, for 51 weeks of the year (closed during Christmas week).

Our daughter has attended Westfields since she was 14 months, and we are really happy with all Westfields offer. The staff there are great and really take time to get to know the parents as well. The food is exceptional and we love that we have the resume every day that fresh, home-cooked food is available.
The cost is much higher than other high rating nurseries. However, given our daughter's time there we would not be looking at moving her to another setting.

We're really happy with the experience at Westfields, and especially since my child has moved to the toddler room. We have been so impressed with the staff in the toddler room. Approachable, engaged and seem to really know/understand my child. Day to day the nursery communicate well (on occasions I've
thought it might be nice to have more insights into daily activities, though appreciate you can't cover everything in a busy handover). Overall, we couldn't be much happier!

Westfield offers a warm and friendly environment that has really helped my child flourish and grow in confidence. She looks forward to going in and talks about staff with fondness when at home. Staff always take the time to talk to you during handovers and get to know each individual child.

Children are really looked after. There is a 'warm' feel to the nursery which I felt the moment I walked in. The staff know all the children's names very quickly and all say 'hi' even if they are not in the same room. They take the time to get to know the parents. I like that they don't play with plastic.

My child's caregiver is first-rate. We could not ask any more from her. She is wonderfully kind and nurturing. The evidence of this is clear in our chid as he has developed enormously and is thriving. The nursery is, overall, excellent. The staff can't be criticised, but there are some policies that
are questionable. For example, fees are very expensive anyway but to charge a premium for mid-week days is punitive for those parents who can't choose their work pattern around it. Likewise, charging for days that the nursery does not open for is inconsiderate. The invoicing is not always accurate either.

Westfields offer a clean, welcoming environment to both me and my children. The staff are friendly, professional, offer a nurturing approach and work with me to provide my children with the best care to learn, grow, develop and in recent months prepare for starting school.


At times, the nursery has

been slow to respond to certain requests that require escalation however, if within their control are proactive and helpful.


Parking at peak times can be tricky especially with two children.


In recent months, the nursery has had a "makeover" and looks bright and inviting.


Overall, I have been very happy with Westfields and would recommend it to parents looking for daycare.

We were first drawn to Westfields Day Nursery due to the staff and they have been brilliant. They genuinely know and care for our daughter and as first-time parents, we are really reassured by this. Our daughter (one-year-old) is eating really well, trying new foods and is very comfortable playing in
her new surroundings. She is very comfortable with the staff and seems keen to go in the mornings so we couldn't ask for more.

We chose Westfields as it was the closest nursery to our house so most convenient. I was surprised by how clean it was compared to others I'd look at. Really like the sleep pods and the low tables were in the baby room and the Montessori approach. I think the management team need time to settle in.
They
were a little inflexible on settling in sessions, we went from a 2-hour session to his first full day which was quite a jump for us.

My grandson has been attending this nursery for 7 months and the staff are all very caring. As he was only 8 months old when he started, I was concerned when leaving him in tears but was always reassured.
He has now settled well. I am unable to comment on a lot of questions as I only do the drop offs.

A well-run nursery with friendly baby room who take time to understand the children and parents needs. Very pleased with the care they offer. They're willing to share positive parenting tips and really brought our little one along.

I moved my three-year-old son to this nursery based on convenience of location to start with but also because I’d heard it was good from friends with children there. It has been a brilliant decision as he has settled wonderfully. I think the staff are fantastic and so caring and thorough. The resources

The staff at Westfields are amazing, they are dedicated and caring to nurture children and seeing them develop. They were flexible, compassionate and supportive when I was in hospital and offered extra sessions for my son, the facilities are great and my little boy loves playing in the garden!

This month, my daughter has really settled into her class and this is largely due to the wonderful staff caring for her. Her primary carers have really bonded with her which has enabled her to feel safe and happy in her environment with them and other children. Her recent positive behaviour and development
has been very noticeable and her love of the staff and enjoyment of wanting to attend nursery even on her days off show that she is incredibly cared for and this is a credit to the lovely staff who spend their time encouraging a happy and positive nursery experience for her. Thank you :)

Westfields Day Nursery has a real family feel, which makes it very special. My little boy has been attending since he was a baby and has been well-cared for and nurtured during that time. I feel that the staff at Westfields Day Nursery have an open door strategy with parents in that they listen to any
parental concerns and address them appropriately. My little boy has developed some great relationships here with staff and children alike. Would definitely recommend!

My name is Alison Kelly and I am one of the Parent Relationship Managers for All About Children.
I have worked within nursery settings and childcare provisions both within the UK and abroad since 1997. I have a level 2 and 3 in Childcare and Education, Level 2 and 3 in Playwork and a Level 3 and 5 in Management.
I have had the pleasure of managing a successful nursery, area managing and operations support for several nurseries setting.
Our nurseries offer a warm, friendly, and individualized childcare approach by the dedicated staff team.
As a nursery, we pride ourselves on our fantastic staff team who come with a wealth of experience, care, and passion for quality childcare provision.
By following each of our children's routines from home, we can support and encourage each child's stage of development along with their parents, so they are able to flourish within the nursery setting and beyond.
