Partou Westfields Day Nursery & Pre-school

My children all enjoy their time at Westfields and tell me of the fun they've had each day. All the staff really show caring for them and really take the time to get to know them well. I'd highly recommend this setting to anyone.

Our daughter loves coming to nursery and we have been very impressed with the progress she has made. The staff are consistently professional, friendly and aware of the details of our daughter's situation. We would definitely recommend the nursery to others.

My daughter loves coming to Westfields and has made some firm friendships there. She has developed in all areas since starting here and loves coming home and telling us what she learnt today.

A lovely lively nursery that has taken very good care of my son. All the staff are very nice and professional. He has loved all his teachers and learnt a lot here. I will send my next little boy here too, as it's nice to drop your child off into the arms of staff, who obviously love and care for the children.

Lots of different activities and focus on learning through engaging the children through fun and play. Good outdoor space and the opportunity to mix with preschoolers and babies. Staff very friendly and helpful.

As a family, we have been using Westfields for over 4 years and have always been very happy. Both our children have flourished at Westfields. The team are very welcoming and really focused on the development and happiness of the children. Any issues are resolved in partnership with the parents, free flow play in the preschool room is a big plus for us.

My son has attended nursery since summer 2014. He has enjoyed every minute and I have always felt completely happy and relaxed leaving him in their care. He has overcome considerable issues with his eating in this time and the nursery has always provided support and encouragement with this. He has developed confidence and social skills over the years and is always encouraged to try new thigs.

Our daughter really enjoys her time at the nursery. I'm always surprised how much she learns and is further along than I'd anticipate at her age. She's made some great friends and is happy to come each day. The staff seem to get to know all the children really well and our daughter responds really well to them.

If you are after a nursery with a family atmosphere, that's Westfields! From the caring manager to the wonderful chef, from the Finance person to the Key Workers, everyone has the child's best interest at heart. I'm particularly impressed with the Toddler Room, staff are fun, caring and engaging.

Excellent communication from staff to really involve family and make sure children are settled and happy. Very good personalised approach.

I'm so grateful I've discovered this 'gem' of Westfields 4 years ago now. My daughter started when she was 8 months old. After trying another nursery before, I was worried but since day 1 my daughter just loved it! The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable, very caring. Some are a true credit to the nursery but they are all amazing, doing over and above their duties and responsibilities. It's a place with a very real 'home' feel. We felt very supported every step of the way during my daughter's key milestones. Excellent communication with parents. Excellent facilities, the garden was one of the favourite places. Very good range of activities and high standards at every level. Excellent staff. My daughter was very happy here, felt secure and confident. This is a very special place, thanks to all the lovely staff.

I have had two children journey through 'Westfields Day Nursery' and I have felt so confident handing them over to the hard working and dedicated team at 'Westfields Day Nursery'. The experience the children are given is varied and exciting - from pretend campfires outdoors to French inside. They always leave with a happy face! Thank you team for your care of my child and for all the extras; such as: parents evening and fabulous detail in the learning journey.

My daughter looks forward to going here, her skills in communication, socialisation and literacy/numeracy have come on leaps and bounds. Staff are very friendly and offer valuable advice. Fantastic garden.

After moving to the area in December 2015 we wanted to find somewhere our son could settle quickly and feel comfortable. This pre-school did not disappoint. He loves his teachers and enjoys his time there so much. He bounces in every time and has made some great friendships. The pre-school has fantastic facilities and activities for kids. We love the stories he comes home with and they encourage so much play and imagination. We couldn't be happier with our choice.

This has been a fantastic nursery since my daughter was 8 months old. After trying others I've found this "gem" of Westfields. They are very caring, loving and nurturing. All members of staff are very friendly but also very well trained. I felt this nursery was like a second family for us. My daughter has been at Westfields for more than 3 years now and had been very happy. They have encouraged her in every stage of her development in her learning journey and social development skills.
