Great communication from management

Since joining Westfields 6 months ago, we have been incredibly impressed with the dedication, support and love for our son. The atmosphere is wonderful and the team are brilliant at their job. We feel very confident leaving him in their care and know he's learning so many important skills from spending his time there. Thank you so much to all of the staff!

My son was very unsettled when he first started nursery having been at home with me for 12 months and being a total mummy’s boy! Fast forward just a few months and he absolutely loves nursery and is thriving - he is so happy to go, adores his key workers, and seeing him get so much from it is just wonderful. It’s all thanks to the brilliant staff.

My son has been at Westfields for just over three years and is so happy there. When he first started he found it really difficult, but the staff in the baby room were very patient and kind, so he soon settled. He also found some transitions difficult, particularly when returning after the first Covid lockdown. But again, the staff were wonderful. He is now so happy and developing so quickly. The staff continue to provide a nurturing environment, mixed with lots of fun activities. The staff are always very cheerful and approachable: it has been easy to build a good relationship with them. There is a great outdoor space and my son is often having far too much fun playing outside with his friends that I have to almost bribe him to leave! As with many childcare settings, there does appear to be a high turnover of staff, but there is enough consistency to provide stability and any changes are usually communicated well. Thank you Westfields; you all work so hard!

My child enjoys her time in the toddler room at Westfields Day Nursery there is a good range of activities and plenty of outdoor time (far more than the baby room). My child is encouraged to try new things and the staff will cater to follow her interests. The food is varied and my child usually eats it all. The nursery policies are strict re. illness so it is unfortunate that a sickness bud and Covid were both doing the rounds in October.

Our daughter is so happy at Westfields Day Nursery and has built great relationships with the staff and made lots of lovely friends. It's so comforting to know that it feels like a home from home for her. We have also been impressed with the nursery focus on teaching manners and have no doubt that the nursery has accelerated her speech and conversation skills. We are also impressed with the garden, facilities and varied menu. We would recommend.

The team are great with my children. They have helped them with their confidence and growth. I feel they have really got to know them and their own little personalities. I am always amazed at how much they have learnt.

Both my sons and now my daughter have been very happy at Westfields. The staff are so caring and the rooms have a lovely atmosphere. The food is healthy and varied and the activities are quite varied also. They have a great outdoor space and make good use of it. Communication home is great too!

Wonderful! All of the staff are so welcoming, kind and friendly. The environment is fantastic. My son has settled very quickly and couldn't be happier.

Westfields Day Nursery is a great nursery - the staff are wonderful, caring and committed. Our children have been very happy here - it is a safe, nurturing environment where their development is well supported, their emotional needs are met and their social skills are fostered. The site and facilities are great, there's plenty of structured and unstructured activities to suit all interests, and the home cooked food is nutritious and tasty.

My daughter attends Westfields Day Nursery 4 days a week, she is learning so much every day. The staff in her room are very patient and friendly. The management have been supporting our family through some very difficult times and have given extra sessions as and when needed and have given telephone support if we need it. Overall, very satisfied.

Both our children enjoy their time at nursery. They are growing in confidence and ability. The staff are great and have really got to know the children's interests. Not for improvement, use the app more, this is the only handover option and it at times doesn't provide significant information.

Our children always have a lovely day at Westfields. The staff are friendly and informative and there is a great range of activities. They often enjoy time in the garden and the catering is good. We're confident that Westfields provides a great social and learning experience for our little ones.

Our daughter loves Westfields! The staff are very kind, caring and enthusiastic. There are lots of great activities and it’s nice to know she is well cared for and will also have a wonderful time each day.

Our son loves going to Westfields every single time! The staff work so hard to ensure he is happy and content. Tapestry (the online learning journal) is packed full of photos and observations to know exactly the fun he has had during the day. They ensure children develop in their own way with a major focus on independent learning. The separate areas are packed full of fun natural resources and we love their main focus is on outdoor learning. We couldn't recommend Westfields enough!

I was a bit nervous about my son starting nursery but the staff at Westfields have been so friendly, professional and reassuring. I love how happy he is when he sees his key workers - he's always so full of smiles for them.

I have two children who attend Westfields. My eldest started in the baby room and is now in Rising 3’s. She gets so excited to go to nursery now and would love to go every day! I can not thank the team at Westfields enough for helping my daughter learn lots of new things and gain confidence in herself and with other children. My youngest has recently started in the baby room and is settling in well. The staff are so friendly and provide excellent care. As a parent, it can be a very anxious time leaving your children in the care of others, but the team at Westfields go above and beyond.

My son started at Westfields when he was six months old. We were reluctant and anxious but from the outset he loved it. The small team is completely focused on the children and he is taking part in so many activities. He loves the outdoor - play in rain or shine, they all have time in the garden. Westfields have been great during covid with plenty of clear communication and explanation of the measures they're taking. Thank you Westfields Nursery.

My sons have been at Westfields since they were a year old, on my return to work. They have spent time in every room from ‘babies’ upwards and I can honestly say every member of staff has been wonderful. It would be remiss of me not to mention that during the early days (and beyond!) we had so much support from certain members of staff, for which we will always be grateful. The boys really enjoy their “nursery days” and beyond just being looked after, they are really nurtured. At this strange time, in particular, I’m very appreciative of the extra lengths the Westfields team goes to, in order to keep the place up and running and keeping things feeling very normal for the children, because it provides such a valuable social and learning environment for the children. There are always lots of fun and new activities going on, they spend as much time outside as possible and I’m always a bit jealous when I hear about the day’s lunch and tea menu.
