Circus Day Nursery Ltd has been established with a focus on quality early years learning, taking pride in an atmosphere where children can thrive and feel motivated.

An extensive and beautiful garden and a flexible range of play resources allow for a flexible approach to key early years goals, as well as many additional enhanced activities, including Forest School. Each day is packed with a variety of learning and development activities, along with outdoor play.

An all-weather surface and canopy mean there is the opportunity for outdoor play, whatever the weather, with children enjoying the nature and growing sections, along with all the other sections in the garden.

As well as a skilled approach to education, the nursery also supports healthy eating, supporting each individual child's diet. The head chef has a wonderful array of beautiful recipes that the children love and thoroughly enjoy. The children also engage in cooking and baking sessions.

The setting has recently achieved the Millie's Mark Award, ensuring all staff are qualified in Pediatric First Aid, offering peace of mind and prestigious award the setting is proud and honoured to have achieved.

Funding & Fees

We charge an hourly private fee rate that is fully inclusive of food/snacks/drinks/nappies/formula, enhanced activities, and everything not included in the Government Funding. Funding is available for eligible 9-month-olds, 2-year-olds, and 3-4-year-olds; however, it does not cover everything included in the private fee, so we may have consumable charges that apply during funded hours (subject to terms and conditions). We offer government funding for 9-month-old children and can handle the administration and support for any required paperwork. Limited spaces are available, so please contact us to arrange your personal tour of our beautiful setting, which is listed as a "house of interest". We are a family-run business established in 1997, with a long-term, dedicated staff team with many years of experience in the Early Years, who share their passion for the Early Years. We pride ourselves on our wonderful staff team and heartfelt dedication to making a positive difference.

Being a new mother, in a new home, in a new town, ensuring my two-year-old son felt safe and settled at his first nursery was vitally important. I was finding my way and so would he be.


I felt anxious and unsure about leaving him but all worries melted away once I met the founder and a handful of

the most loving girls who would be taking care of him.


From his very first day, he’s been thrilled to be in Clowns then Jugglers and now pre-school. He has blossomed into a confident, comfortable, humorous and deeply contented little boy. Curious to know more about the world and the people around him and always up for a cuddle!


I know that I owe much of the grounded sense of security that he enjoys to the heartfelt care he has received from his Circus Family.

A fantastic nursery. All the staff are so helpful and always go above and beyond for the children/families. The staff are friendly and welcoming. My daughter is extremely happy in this setting and has thrived since she has started in August 2015. I would like to say a huge thank you to all the fantastic
staff.

My little girl has been attending pre-school only two afternoons per week however I am amazed at the positive influence Circus has had on so many important aspects of her life. She loves the environment and the staff are genuinely caring. Even with the short sessions she spends there she has gained
so much more social confidence in particular, but also a good sense of what to expect come September at school. I have no previous experience with nurseries but Circus went above and beyond my expectations. Really fantastic work!
