Welcome to Bright Horizons Talbot Woods Day Nursery and Preschool. A purpose-built nursey set in the grounds of Wallisdown campus. Your child can explore four separate free flow gardens where they can learn how to grow vegetables and plants, and the Forest School sessions encourage a love of the outside world.

A highly-trained and experienced team of childcare professionals works closely with parents helping children to flourish and reach their full potential.

A balanced curriculum has been designed to support each child throughout their early learning journey, preparing them for their transition into school.

The nursery is committed to serving healthy, balanced and nutritious foods that provide each child with the energy they need for a busy day of play, learning and development. Menus are carefully planned and freshly prepared by the on-site chefs, in consultation with nutritionists.

The team would love to welcome you to Talbot Woods. The setting is located on the Ground Floor of Talbot House on Talbot Campus. From there, go through the main entrance and the courtyard to the nursery, passing through the double doors.

My son feels confident and happy when I drop him off at Nursery. This is a clear sign that the Talbot Woods Nursery is a safe and wonderful place for him. Kids learn lots of things through different activities and games which is the best way, learning must be fun!
My husband and I are truly grateful
to the staff for their support in our child's development.

It has been really challenging for us to leave our son in someone else's care but hand on my heart if I can fault them. Any issues or queries that we had were sorted and there has been nothing that our son did that we were not aware of. It's always lovely to see the photos posted and the activities
that all of them are doing. So thank you to all of you who help to create these little human characters and for looking after them with all your love.

The nursery looks after my child's dietary requirements very diligently. The app keeps us informed about the routine and daily activities and their developmental progress. The rooms are clean and the summer activities in the garden are very attractive and engaging. I would highly recommend the nursery
to parents. I wish the half-day booking option was available again.

We have had a fab experience so far, as first-time parents we were very nervous about how our little one would react to being put into nursery but everyone was very welcoming and supportive and our little one has been thriving! Would definitely recommend.

All staff are approachable and really make you feel at ease when leaving your child. Communication is amazing and no question is too silly. It's lovely to see on the app lots of activities my little one does. I recommend Bright Horizons Talbot Woods Day Nursery and Preschool to everyone as it's an amazing

Talbot Woods Nursery is a great school for my daughter, who started there 2 years ago. The staff is very friendly and approachable. They do everything to make your kid feel welcomed and loved. She loves the activities there and learned a lot of stuff which will help her transition to reception class
this year. Food is good as well.

Our son seems to really love it at Bright Horizons Talbot Woods Day Nursery and Preschool. He took a while to settle in but the team were really helpful at helping us find ways to encourage him to learn, we do come back. We feel like our son has grown so much from interacting with the other young ones
and are so grateful for how the nursery has helped raise our little boy, our key caregivers seem really engaged with our son and it feels as though they have a genuine bond with him which is so reassuring and love our little daily updates with pictures!

Both of my children have been at the nursery, my eldest is now in year one at school, and despite the distance between home and nursery we decided to put our daughter in too because of how amazing all staff have been.
Cannot fault them at all, always ever so helpful, staff are always friendly and
helpful too.
I think it would be really nice if the children were to be able to get out into public local parks etc but aside from that faultless.

This is a very friendly nursery and both my children have gone here with my little one currently in toddler room she loves the nursery so much and will try to piece together key details of her day which I love when I have finished work myself.

I sent my son here during the pandemic and was so happy with the care he received I recently returned with my younger daughter. The staff are so lovely and caring, my daughter lights up with a smile every time we arrive at the nursery in the morning. The activities look interesting and stimulating,
and communication is good via the app and at the end of each day.

I feel confident that I picked a fantastic nursery for my little boy. He comes home happy and it's clear he's well looked after. The team are great, they took the time to learn about his unique likes and dislikes and seem to genuinely care about the children in their care. They keep me updated via the

I started with Bright Horizons in Talbot Woods in 2018, and have worked in childcare since 2012. I gained my Early Years Teacher status in 2015, and have worked in nurseries as an Early Years Lead ever since. I have worked with every age group as a keyworker from 0-5 and gained experience in key stage one. In January 2021 I was appointed manager of Talbot Woods and I am excited to take on a new challenge, with a team I know and appreciate.
