Kings Castle Montessori Nursery School

King's Castle Montessori has been absolutely fabulous for both my children. Now, as my youngest son's journey there comes to an end, I couldn't have asked for a better nursery. The staff are incredibly friendly and caring, and I just love the Montessori method that fosters independence. I truly believe my child couldn't be better prepared for starting school had they been anywhere else. He'll be sad to go, but we are so grateful. Thank you so much.

Our experience has been amazing. When considering what nursery to go for Kings Castle stood out above the rest, especially with the option to split time between the castle and the lodge setting which offers a different experience, the two complement each other really well. The staff have been amazing and we can tell our Daughter has been learning loads on the run-up to going to school soon.

Absolutely fantastic nursery, thoroughly recommend it. Very warm, welcoming staff who are dedicated to the children and providing them with support and learning experiences. The manager and staff are always happy to discuss any queries and provide responses in person and via the app. Use of feedback forms and parent evenings keeps parents and staff informed equally of children's development and any support required. We are nearing the end of our child's time at nursery, but we are still receiving excellent input and support for our child as staff genuinely care about their development and what support is required for them moving forward beyond nursery. Passionate, supportive and caring management which reflects down to all staff. Use of the lodge also for nature based nursery and local walks, which is so important to teach children about nature.

Our child has had a wonderful few years at Kings Castle, and above all, his happiness and comfort when needing to be cared for away from family in the early years has been most important to us. From the baby room through to pre-school, our son has been happy to be dropped off in the mornings and always comes home in a great mood sharing stories of his days. The days at The Lodge having time outdoors have probably been our son's favourite part of nursery, and we've loved him having this time in the fresh air in all weathers. We've also been pleased our son has made nice friends, learned practical and early academic skills, gotten used to being in a classroom environment and been familiarised with a school-type routine whilst having fun. The teachers and assistants have been very kind and they clearly have very respectful relationships with the kids. The enthusiasm from some of the staff in particular has been incredible. A really pleasant, safe, friendly and well-run nursery.

I can't recommend this nursery enough, my children have loved going there and will be sad to leave them behind as they move onto school.

Kings Castle immediately made me feel at ease when coming to view for my then 11-month-old. He settled in so quickly, forming bonds with his key worker and other teachers! They cannot do enough for both me and my son to ensure we both feel confident when he is at nursery and I honestly just love it here. My next little one will also be going here. They always encourage next steps and keep you so up to date with their daily moves via the app. Love it. Well done guys.

My son is confident independent and very communicative. I feel so happy that I know he is ready to make his way at school. Kings have helped to grow his confidence through their care and teaching. He loves his days at the Lodge, where he goes on nature walks, flies kites, learns about insects, plants and bakes, to name a few. Kings Castle truly is a wonderful Nursery.

We will be sad when it comes time for her to leave to start school.

I couldn't ask more from this nursery. My daughter left eight years ago and now have another child currently there. There was never a second thought about which nursery I would be sending my 2nd child to after my daughter's amazing experience at King's. My second child has many allergies, and I always feel he is in safe hands and well looked after. The manager and the team at Kings are amazing, and couldn't ask for a better place to send my children. I would highly recommend Kings Castle to anyone.

The most genuine, lovely and caring staff, would recommend this nursery to anyone. Everyone is so welcoming and informative and my daughter always comes away smiling from her days. Hearing what they do in the days with them is so lovely and the fact it's an all weather nursery is great as my daughter loves to be outside! If I could give higher than five stars I would!

Our child has been with Kings Castle for a couple of months and he has settled in to the setting brilliantly. The team are all superb and have really gotten to know and understand him, helping him flourish and grow. We couldn’t be happier.

I couldn’t recommend Kings Castle more highly as a nursery. Both of my boys have thrived there. The staff are caring and nurturing, and they have both left ready for school. It’s a happy, vibrant place where they are always looking at how they can continue to improve to make things even better for the children. The addition of the Lodge has been fantastic!

My youngest child has just left Kings Castle and we could not have been happier with the care our children were given whilst they attended the setting. The staff were supportive, receptive and nurturing to our children's needs. The lodge was a great favourite and welcome addition too. The hot meals were varied, healthy and encouraged our children to eat outside of their comfort zones. We are very grateful to all the staff who are involved with the nursery and the time they dedicate to looking after the children they are entrusted with.

Kings Castle Montessori Nursery School goes above and beyond what is required for a nursery. Sadly, our journey is coming to an end after 7 years. Both my girls have attended Kings and have flourished, thrived and excelled under their love, care and guidance. I never had any worries about leaving them so young as the staff treated them like they were their own. It is clear they all love the children and would do anything for them. Kings Lodge has opened which has made the Kings experience more amazing. It brings together the Montessori element with forest school and my youngest is always so excited for her Lodge day. When the children get into the preschool, the adults are amazing at preparing them for their school journey with the use of the upstairs classroom. This was shown on our recent transition to school when all the children happily ran into their new setting, full of confidence. I have known the manager for 10 years-she is an exceptional manager: putting the children at the heart of everything. I highly recommended Kings Castle Montessori Nursery School!

Our family journey will be coming to an end soon after 6 continuous years and we are really sad to say goodbye. Kings Castle Montessori Nursery School has been a huge and important part of our lives and both children have absolutely loved their time there and flourished. We feel so lucky to have found such a wonderful nursery, with loving staff, an amazing educational ethos and excellent facilities. The atmosphere at the nursery is always positive, with children happy and busy enjoying child led activities to support and encourage their independence and development. The lodge is an excellent addition to the nursery, where the children get to spend quality time exploring nature and spending time outdoors. It has definitely been the highlight of their week. I strongly believe both children were able to reach their full potential with the guidance and support from Kings and I thank everyone for all their care and attention to my children

Staff are friendly, helpful, and all-around superstars. We will be sending our second there.

We are very happy with the care our child receives and the support in achieving developmental milestones from the staff. We like the structured learning approach which we have found very beneficial towards our child's development.
