Kings Castle Montessori Nursery School

We have 2 children at nursery and we have been extremely pleased with the nursery as a whole. The staff are all great, very approachable and accessible to speak with. Both of my children, my older one, in particular, has thrived there and we will be sad to leave next month when she starts school. Thank you.

Their approach to life long learning means everyday life skills are valued and achieved in a creative way. My daughter has just finished her time here but has been prepared so that she is more than ready to face 'big' school. The staff are always friendly and approachable and there isn't anything that is too much trouble. Her key worker was incredibly informative about her development and her next steps. My daughter used to talk with great enthusiasm about what she had been learning. During her time here she experienced the loss of her Nanny. I couldn't praise Kings any higher for how they supported her and us as a family during this difficult time.

The nursery was recommended to us a year ago and our son has come through the baby room and is now in the toddler room.

From the beginning, we have been extremely pleased with the quality of conversations and interactions with all staff and management, the educational approach and feedback on what our son has been doing each day.

Communication from the nursery is excellent; whether emails, parents evenings or phone calls. Where I have needed extra dietary support requests have been respected and the staff have gone out of their way to reassure us they have listened.

Our son is thriving in this environment, he looks forward to nursery and regularly says the names of his key workers and other team members. The staff seem to enjoy the working environment and there seems to be very little turnover.

Very friendly and caring staff, taking attention of individual child's' needs and give detailed feedback about the child's day at the nursery. They have individual sessions with small groups of children to ensure good learning.

The staff have worked side by side with myself and the therapist to ensure appropriate support was given to my son. His speech is now on-par with that of his peers. The support from the nursery was wonderful.

My son loves going to nursery. The teachers are excellent and very caring. Excellent environment for creativity and play. My daughter also attended the nursery before she started school and had a fabulous time there.

Lovely nursery with friendly staff. Very spacious and clean. Really nice welcoming feel when you walk in the door. A good variety of learning activities. Would definitely encourage friends and family to send their children here.

The nursery is well run and we feel the staff, all the staff, truly care about the well being of the children. Of course like anywhere there have been things to be discussed but this has been with professionalism, courtesy and respect regardless of the subject. It gives us great confidence in the nursery. Our lad loves being there and refers kindly to the staff by name when he's at home.

Both my children went to Kings Castle, so I have known the setting for nearly 7 years. I have been happy throughout this time and so have my children. The staff are very caring and attentive. Both my children can at times be clingy when being dropped off, but the staff always know how to deal with this and I end up leaving them happily playing or being comforted. The feedback I get about their learning is great too and I know they set them up for school in the best way.

Our son will miss both the sterling staff and fellow friends when he leaves for primary education in September.

Both my daughters had a wonderful time at Kings Castle and I couldn't recommend the place highly enough.

The staff show a genuine love for their jobs, the nursery and the children - many tears were shed when we left for 'Big' school !

They have helped to create two confident, independent, friendly and bright little girls and for that, I will be eternally grateful.

I have tried a few nurseries and this is by far the best for my son. I would recommend Kings Castle to other parents.

Both my children have attended Kings Castle; my eldest left two years ago and my other child has been there a year and a half; since he was 9 months old. What impresses me most is the consistent family feel of the nursery. The staff take great care in ensuring individual needs are met for both children and their parents and respond very quickly to suggestions or concerns. The nursery is flexible in its approach to how my children settled into the nursery; and allowed their individuality to be paramount above any set routines. My children are very independent and self-confident as a result of the Montessori approach embedded at Kings Castle. They enjoy/ed the challenges and freedom of the work cycle and the creativity it focused on. Above all; I fully trust the staff to care for and nurture my child whilst he is in their care. I highly recommend this nursery.

My daughter has been coming here for two years and will be leaving for school this September. She has made lots of friends and loved every minute of her time here. The staff are first class and the whole environment has been a balanced and wonderful learning experience for her. I would not hesitate to recommend Kings Castle to anyone.

My son started at King's Castle when he was only six months old, very young! He will be leaving for big school in August. I cannot thank King's enough for the last four years! My son is a happy, healthy, inquisitive, confident, sociable little boy which I believe King's and the Montessori ethos was a contributing factor. I will be sad to see him leave King's but thanks to King's he is definitely school ready!

Our son has only been at nursery since January (he is 1) but has absolutely thrived in his short time there. We have noticed such an improvement in his walking, talking, confidence and social skills. The staff in the baby room are so friendly and caring, and we are very sad to say goodbye to them!

I have sent both of my children to Kings Castle and I have recommended it several times. The ethos of the management team there permeates through the whole nursery and the children have a fantastic multi-faceted learning experience. They have a super setup with lovely outdoor space, and I am very happy knowing that my children are being cared for, and are learning at the same time, in such a lovely environment. I have total peace of mind that my children are having the best possible start in preparation for school.

My son has been attending the nursery for 3 years. He's been happy there since day 1(since he was 10 months old). He loves every single teacher (so do I). They follow all instructions relating to my son's development and health issues. Everyone is friendly and treat the children with great respect and they encourage him. I always get feedback and help if I have any concern. The garden is huge (the greatest bonus ever!) and well equipped. The children have the opportunity to work and explore in an amazing environment. The building has improved in the last 3 years and they always work on making it better. I can only comment 100% positively about the nursery.

A fabulous nursery and preschool with dedicated and caring staff. All three of our children have been through King's and we have always been very happy with the care and education that they have received.

Fantastic nursery with great facilities and really caring staff. The children get the opportunity to spend plenty of time outdoors where there are some great facilities. Despite the fact the nursery is big, the staff offer a really personal touch and know the names of every child. Both sets of grandparents have told me how impressed they have been with the nursery too.
