Tops Day Nurseries: Pokesdown Nursery

The staff at Tops Boscombe are just fantastic. Throughout the pandemic, the nursery has been supportive and understanding, whilst ensuring the safety of staff, children and parents. They offer a great range of resources for the children to play with. Additional cooking and forest school too, never mind the flexibility with bookings! It’s awesome!

Since my child has started at Tops Boscombe, she has loved every second of it. I was very nervous about sending my baby off to nursery, but the staff and nursery as a whole have made it easy to leave her in someone else care. Would defiantly recommend!

My daughter started with your nursery in June, I was a little worried as she had never been and started just after the main COVID shut down. However, the staff have been amazing both with getting her settled and reassuring me! She absolutely loves going to nursery and has come on personally so much since she started! Thank you all!

My two-year-old daughter has been going to Tops Boscombe for just under a year now and she has settled in very well, thanks to the help of all the staff. I'm very pleased with the kindness of the teachers at Tops Day Nursery, Boscombe, especially during this difficult time, my son's nursery closed during the COVID-19 pandemic as they are a small nursery. At the beginning of the pandemic, we managed to look after our 3 sons because of my mom being temporary "stuck" with. She came to visit and couldn't return to her home country. After 5 weeks of 3 under 5's being locked in the house we started to struggle, especially my mom, as she was left by herself looking after them when me and my husband are both key workers. The manager at Tops Day Nursery was very understanding and supportive and she tried her best to get our son into the nursery. When the great news arrived that our son could go to the nursery 3 days a week we were all very pleased and relieved. Our son loves the setting, his new friends and all the teachers. Up until recently I have had two children at Tops. My daughter has missed her older brother. Staff have been so attentive to her needs - giving her extra cuddles. Recently my daughter moved rooms, the transition was so supported, that it went very well despite the close bond she had with staff in the room she was leaving. Both of my children have loved the extra activities Tops provide, especially forest school.

Tops Boscombe is a wonderful setting for any child. The staff and management are friendly, flexible and resourceful. They provide spaces for babies and children to really flourish in their environment. Teamed with nurturing staff and extra activities like forest school and cookery school, this is an excellent start for any little one to learn and grow.

I have had nothing but good experiences since enlisting my 2 year old son at Tops Day Nurseries: Boscombe Nursery. The team have been extremely friendly and helpful on a one to one basis. Also, my son has a great time and it was warming how the team aided him in the settling in process.

My son absolutely loves nursery, he adores the staff who are invested in his happiness at nursery. My son has fun and enjoys the activities in place. They provide a great environment, most importantly a happy environment. I could not ask for more.

I have been using Tops Boscombe for 5 Years now with 2 children and both loved coming to nursery. They enjoyed the environment interaction with carers and activities. I would recommend this nursery to others. The flexible booking has been invaluable, not many other nurseries offer this. The staff are all friendly and welcoming.

He absolutely loves it and comes out with all sorts of new words and songs that he has got from Tops and he isn't 2 yet. They have been really supportive and provide a comprehensive update on his day. I have heard mixed reviews (and seen) about other sites but it's always great for the Boscombe team. Would and do recommend this site.

All staff are absolutely amazing, communication outstanding, management excellent. I couldn't ask for better care and I will always recommend Tops to everyone. My girl did learn so much, she met a lot of friends and she has memories that will be cherish for ever.

My son has been attending the nursery since April when he was only 8 months old. He has settled in very well thanks to the caring and friendly staff. He is always happy to be dropped off and looks very comfortable there when I return to collect him.

Tops have helped create a safe and stable environment. The key staff have nurtured my son into a confident boy; who is ready to start school. He idolises staff who have always gone above and beyond, who comfort, encourage and have a genuine desire to care for the children in their rooms - most of all, as a parent, I’m happy leaving my son there knowing he will be having a fun filled day, with great staff and friends.
