Tops Day Nurseries: Pokesdown Nursery

Over three years our little boy has attended this beautiful nursery, thank you doesn't quite do it for me, this nursery goes above and beyond in many ways. Every staff member who works there thank you.

My eldest has been going to Tops since he was 2, following a relocation to the area. He's just about to start school and the team at Tops Pokesdown have played a huge role in getting him ready for his next big adventure.

His baby brother is now at the nursery as well and they are both so happy to go everyday. Every member of the team is friendly, caring and thoughtful - I can't fault them and will be very sad when our Tops journey ends in a couple of years.

Tops Day Nurseries - Pokesdown has been an absolute blessing for our family. They've cared for my daughter since she was 2 years old, and now she's about to begin her next adventure in primary school. Watching her grow in confidence, kindness, and independence is a true credit to the care, love, and support she's received here.

The team have not only nurtured her development but supported me as a parent every step of the way. They've been there through all the milestones, the wobbles, and the big wins - always reassuring, communicative, and genuinely invested in her wellbeing.

My little boy is currently at the nursery and I wouldn't want him anywhere else. It's rare to find a place where you feel completely at ease leaving your children, knowing they're safe, happy, and thriving.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart to all the incredible staff at Tops Pokesdown - you've given my children the best possible start. Truly the best nursery around!

It's been a great journey with Pokesdown Boscombe. My son enjoys the environment. He never complained for a single day. The teachers are so friendly and welcoming . My son improved a lot being in the environment. From potty training to speech and other skills. If they had a primary school , l would have loved my son to stay , but sadly he has to go for reception. Thanks to all the staff members for a job well done.

My first two children attended this nursery. The staff are amazing, they value your opinion. Always there to help. I will always use them and will recommend my friends or family to use them. They have various things for various age ranges.

I have loved my daughter being in Tops. She has grown into a bright little independent lady and the staff have been amazing. She was in graduation 2024. But not leaving forever! My youngest starts in September. Would definitely recommend. All the staff are lovely!

Choosing Tops Nursery was the best choice I made for my child. The staff are very friendly and supportive for him and for me too. My child sometimes cried when dropped him there because he's very attached to me but once I picked him up from the nursery he was very happy being there. Thank you for being part of my child's story and helping him grow. You are amazing!

Teachers are friendly and there are several varieties of activities for the kids to explore. The teachers are respectful of parents and it was an overall good experience. There can be improvement in the time it takes to open the doors for parents to drop off or pick up their kids.

Overall very positive experience, lots of activities for little ones, absolutely loved Forest School as well as Cooking School and Joining Generations Programme. Lovely and caring staff. Flexible hours definitely made it easier for us too. We already miss the place .

Both my daughters absolutely love it here, the staff are fantastic and really take the time to bond with and nurture my children on top of providing them with creative, stimulating and educational activities every single session. I truly will be gutted when our journey with Tops is over.

The nursery is very clean, and they have lots of activities.

My son had a great time learning and playing at Tops Boscombe for three years. The staff really helped nurture his confidence and skills. They were always helpful to parents too. He already can't wait to go back for High 5 in October.

My son has been at Tops Boscombe for just over four months now, and he has settled in so well. I am really impressed with the attentiveness of the staff, how well they communicate everything with me (both the nursery staff and admin staff) and how much my son loves attending. It is great that they make use of the outside space when the weather allows, and they always have different activities going on to keep the children engaged. They provide daily diary updates on the app in a timely manner and also share pictures on a weekly-or-so basis of what my son has been up to, which I love seeing. For me, the things that interested me about Tops more generally was the flexibility of bookings and their commitment to sustainability. I really value that they offer good vegetarian meals for my son and that they are supportive of our choice of using reusable nappies (and actively promote this).

I really rate Tops Nursery Boscombe, so much so that when we moved a couple of miles away, we kept our daughter there rather than move her to a closer one. My daughter has built up great attachments to the staff in the baby room and I really get a feeling that they truly care about my child's wellbeing and happiness. The staff are always friendly and professional and I have recomended Tops Boscombe to a friend of mine who is about to return to work and is looking for a childcare solution.

I love this nursery, my little girl won't even say goodbye to me when dropping her off as she just wants to go in and get busy. I love the way they do daily diaries so you know exactly what they have been doing while there, they really take care of the development and understanding of how your child is improving. I would highly recommend this nursery to everyone.
