Happy Days Nursery & Pre-School - Penair

I am absolutely over the moon with Happy Days Penair! As a first-time mum, I was very anxious to leave my 14-month old and I just did not know what to expect. What really impressed me from the start was how the manager took us around the nursery on an open day and answered all of our questions. The settling in sessions were great and my mind was put at ease as there was not a single thing I disliked about their approach and ethos. Everything is baby led (exactly how I had done things for the last 14 months) and my baby has been thriving there. I feel calm and assured that my child is well looked after whilst I am smoothly transitioning into the life of a working mother. My childs communication skills have improved massively, as well as his eating and sleeping. He absolutely loves the food there. My favourite thing is the outdoor area where my child spends considerable time exploring and learning. I am extremely happy with our choice and look forward to seeing how my child develops.

Happy Days Penair is a wonderful place for children to learn and grow as little people. The staff are friendly and compassionate. They ooze enthusiasm and energy. They really know the children in their care. We have detailed debriefs about the day and activities. The outdoor area is exceptional. It is wild and engaging and the children can roam free and learn in a woodland setting unlike any other in any nursery in Truro. Our daughter loves this magical place and we cannot thank the staff enough for all their hard work.

Staff have been great! My child has really developed her speech within the last couple of weeks. They have put all in time and effort with her. She always has a smile on her face when I pick her up.

I am very happy with this nursery! My daughter loves coming, she has been coming since she was 8 months old, now nearly 2 and she still loves it. She gets so excited walking there every morning. I have seen such an improvement with her learning and socialising. Staff are always friendly and caring. And will always accommodate a little cuddle time if my daughter is feeling under the weather. I really feel she gets what she needs at nursery, which makes it a lot easier on the mum guilt of having to leave her and go to work! Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a nursery.

Our daughter has been at Happy Days Nursery & Preschool - Penair for two years and has really flourished and thrived during her time there so far. The staff are so friendly, kind and supportive, offering a range of engaging activities every day as well as providing lots of learning opportunities both inside and out in their wonderful wooded area attached to the nursery. We are so pleased that we chose to send our daughter to Happy Days - Penair. She always comes home with a smile on her face - full of enthusiasm about her day and excited for the next. The communication from all staff is excellent and nothing is too much trouble. We are now so pleased to be sending our second baby to Happy Days.

My daughter absolutely loves coming to nursery every day. I’ve seen such a difference in her learning and see new things that she’s learnt every day. The staff are always more than happy to accommodate my daughter and I, in any way that we may need. I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone that is thinking of sending their child here.

At Happy Days Nursery & Preschool - Penair the staff are amazing, very friendly and supportive. My child gets very excited, they love the nursery and can't wait to go in every time. Great outdoor space for the children to run around and explore.

All three of our boys have been really happy at Happy Days Nursery & Preschool - Penair over the last 6-years. The staff are so caring and kind to them, from the baby room right through to the preschool room. They have happily cuddled and helped to settle at drop off when it's been needed and every time we've picked up, the boys have had a great day. We get lots of information at pick up about what they've been up to and even when it's busy, the handover doesn't feel rushed. It's clear the staff really care about and take the time to know all the children in the nursery, not just the ones in their room. The setting itself is lovely, the indoor rooms are well organised and feel calm and happy, the outdoor space is amazing and they spend so much time out there. My youngest is so proud to be part of the eco council and talks about what they've been doing all the time at home. I absolutely recommend Happy Days Nursery & Preschool - Penair, we have been so happy with them for six years now!

We absolutely love Happy Days Nursery & Preschool - Penair. The manager and the rest of the team are fantastic. My daughter has made so much progress since she started with them - she’s gained so much confidence and her skills with her mobility, puzzle-solving, feeding herself and even going to sleep on her own have all developed so well. It’s lovely to pick her up and see the little changes and improvements she has made during her time at nursery. I love the outdoor space and the way the natural environment is used every day. Our daughter absolutely loves going to nursery and we love sending her there - every member of staff knows every child even if they don’t work with them in their room and the care is really personalised to each child. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Happy Days Penair. Please don’t ever change!

I could not recommend this nursery enough. They made the whole process of dropping off my daughter in very uncertain times, easy- especially as a working mum in the pandemic. I know that she is safe and looked after and is loving the outdoor space, getting dirty with hands-on learning, enjoying nature. After the first 6 week review, it was clear that the staff knew her well and that nowhere would meet her needs as well as the attentive, caring staff at Happy Days Nursery & Preschool - Penair do!

Happy Days Penair have gone above and beyond our expectations with our son! After two quite disastrous experiences at other settings, Happy Days Nursery & Preschool - Penair welcomed our son with open arms and from day one! They have been absolutely amazing with him. Every single staff member has been wonderful and gone the extra mile. One member of staff, in particular, has been a complete godsend with my son's learning and communication and she really is a credit to the nursery. I will be very sad the day I have to move my son to school as he absolutely loves his nursery days and goes in the happiest little boy! I couldn’t have him anywhere else now. Thank you.

Happy days Penair have been fantastic since the very beginning of my experience with them. We started with baby massage sessions once a week where, as a first time mum, they made me feel welcome in a friendly environment. We now take our son once a week for childcare and he is always happy and well looked after. I would 100% recommend to anyone looking for 5-star childcare.

My son has had a wonderful few years at this nursery. He has made good friendships and connects well with the staff. He said to me just this week that when he goes to school he will miss them. We are always kept up to date of any changes, and any issues with invoicing (my doing!) were rectified quickly. It is clear that the staff enjoy working with the children and my son is due to start school a happy and confident boy with many skills that he has been taught while playing at the nursery. It has been invaluable to us as working parents and would not hesitate to recommend.

They have been the best with my little lad! No matter any situation, they have supported us and pushed us in the right direction. I love the layout and my little boy loves the woods and having lots of fun in there.

Happy Days Penair is an excellent nursery and my child has been very happy there. He has enjoyed his time in each of the three rooms (babies, toddlers and pre-school) and the staff have been brilliant throughout. The nursery has excellent outside facilities and the children are outside in the fresh air most of the day. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Happy Days Penair to other parents.

Lovely Nursery with a great team. Both my boys have gone from baby to preschool and loved it. They have a very nice outside space and I like how much time the kids are outside in the woods learning and playing with their friends. As a working Mum, their flexibility has also always been amazing and they really care about their children’s families.

Such a wonderful setting that allows children to explore and enjoy the outdoor environment. My nephew loves going on bug hunts. All rooms are equipped with all age ranges. All staff work well as a team and know all the children throughout the rooms so the transition is easy for the children. I would recommend this nursery to everyone I know, always greeted with a smiley face.

Both of my children have been to Happy Days and both absolutely loved it from start to finish! They are always well organised and have been extremely helpful. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending them to other parents.

Both of my children went to this nursey, we lived in Redruth but had only heard so many good things. Their outside area sold the nursery for us. All of the staff are friendly and made my children and me feel safe. I never worried if my children had eaten well, as it was all fresh home-cooked meals and a great menu. So many activities done every day that they were there. Overall, would recommend the nursery to anyone.

The nursery has fantastic resources encouraging the children to learn and strive. The woodland area is a great space for different activities. The staff helped support my son settle and was very reassuring. Will definitely be recommending to other parents.
