Flying Start @ Cornwall College - Camborne

My little one has been going to Flying Start at Cornwall College for the last two and a half years, and I can, hands down, say it’s the best thing we ever did getting her in. She was born shortly before Covid, and her confidence and socialisation were a concern during lockdown. We started her when she was 18 months old, and she absolutely loved it! She has now finished to start school. Our little boy will, without a doubt, be going there at the same time! The staff are knowledgeable and attentive, and the manager is second to none! Just amazing!

We absolutely love this nursery! Every member of staff is wonderful and always goes above and beyond. We love how they involve the parents in inviting them to stay and play. Facilities are amazing, with a wide variety of play equipment to keep the little ones busy and growing. Thank you so much!

We have had two children at Flying Start, totalling six years, and those six years have been fantastic. Friendly staff, care for the children, so much to entertain them and great learning. Overall, would highly recommend it.

Really nice and friendly group of young ladies. My child really loves his mornings and is not so keen to leave at the end of his session. He also loves his lunches and rarely doesn’t eat what he is offered.

The staff are friendly and so welcoming.

They always feel so comfortable with all staff members and enjoy going.

Wholesome meals are prepared on-site also.

Brilliant nursery. My son starts school next week, so today is actually his last day, but he has had the best time, with the best kids and the best staff. Would 100% recommend and will be sending my daughter here when I go back to work next year. It’s lovely and spacious, the play areas are brilliant, and the kids are always doing different activities. Thank you so much for everything you guys do!

Amazing nursery, everyone is so friendly, welcoming and great with the children. My daughter absolutely loves it there and is always so excited to see everyone. Can't praise them enough! Thank you ladies.

My daughter has been attending flying start since Aug 2019. She loves going to nursery and sometimes doesn't want to leave! All of the staff are amazing and just so lovely. The food options are great. They have been great through this pandemic, always communicating with you through email and the app.

Absolutely great setting and amazing staff. Both my children love going here and have learnt so much from attending. I would recommend this nursery to anyone that asked for childcare. The communication is outstanding and consistent.

My girls absolutely love Flying Start. The site is great and all of the staff are brilliant! I highly recommend this nursery. They do such a variety of activities, my girls always come home buzzing at the end of the day and always look forward to going back.

My son has been going to Flying Start nursery since he was 8 months old (he’s now almost 2 years) and he loves it. He’s really bonded with the staff there and he runs in and out smiling - I think that says it all. A happy child speaks volumes. Couldn’t ask for more as a parent.

Flying Start is a wonderful nursery providing amazing childcare. My daughter enjoys going to pre-school and has made some lovely friends. She is learning so much and has grown in confidence a lot!

Absolutely fantastic setting! Both my 3 year old and 8 month old are happy within the nursery and the staff couldn’t be more welcoming and friendly. The manager is so lovely and always more than happy to help where she can! My girls have attended the nursery since September and have settled amazingly and their development speaks for itself since beginning nursery. Couldn’t think of a better place or better people to leave my children with! Two happy, healthy children who are well-fed, comforted and loved at home and within nursery!

My husband and I are so impressed at the care and activities that are provided to our little boy. He has come on so much since attending this nursery and has settled in so well. I love how much time they spend playing outside and the learning and creativity that the nursery provides means that we can go to work feeling full of confidence that he is being well cared for and enjoys his time there.

My little boy has special needs and is full of energy. The staff at the nursery have helped him so much and helped me as well. If it was not for the time he spends at nursery I would have lost the plot by now. His key worker is an amazing woman as they all are. I completely trust them all and have no worries that he will be safe and well cared for.

Flying start have massively helped my little one, we suffered quite badly with attaching issues and they’re amazing with him, he’s like a completely different now from when he first started! Love seeing his happy little face when he gets picked up.

I was super anxious about sending my little boy to nursery for the first time, especially after lockdown and spending so much time with just me, but all of the staff at the nursery reassured me and made the transition really easy on me and more importantly my little one! He settled so quickly despite only doing one session a week and is really thriving. I love looking through his observations and really enjoy seeing pictures of him at nursery. Being a practitioner myself I appreciate the effort that goes into keeping parents in the loop at all times! I can’t praise the staff enough for making my little boys time at nursery so lovely, he comes out smiling, with a full tummy and clean nappy every session and we have no complaints at all!
