My son has almost finished his time in nursery now and it hasnt always been easy for him, but the staff have always been amazing. Special shout out to Suzi, she is an absolute diamond and her patience and understanding with my son has been absolutely second to none. Fantastic placement, wonderful staff.

My Grandaughter is new at the nursery and she loves it, when we looked around in settle in session we were introduced to her key worker who was very welcoming and polite she went through everything about nursery and what was expected all the staff we met are great. The staff keep you updated on daily
diaries and any events or updates in nursery, it is a great setting for children and plenty to do and learn i highly recommend to others.

My son has attended Redruth FS since September 2025, the staff have supported his transition into nursery and now he runs in without a backwards glance. They have always accommodated his needs. I have regular feedback on what he has been doing at nursery, and what he has been learning. The pictures
on his observations reflect a range of opportunities that are available to him. I have recommended FS to a friend who has been on a visit also! Thank you team for all your hard work!

Flying Start Marjon is an amazing setting, my little girl absolutely loves it. The staff have cared for her with the upmost attention from day 1, supporting her to firstly feel comfortable in the setting and then to develop her confidence. It really feels like a little family, my daughter even thinks
the staff are at 'work' on their days off! All of the staff are really friendly and enthusiastic and respond promptly to any parental enquiries.
My little one loves the half termly books and the focus on one story has really helped to develop her language and early comprehension skills. A very wide range of opportunities are available for the children including access to the outdoors, lots of opportunities to get really messy and trips to the forest.

My young baby started as an under 1 year old. Although the nursery is big with multiple rooms and lots of families, she has been really well settled in with key people who have got to know her really well. She loves going to nursery, she is excited to see the familiar baby room staff and the photos
on her learning story show her exploring lots of different types of activities inside and outside. She has an allergy but has been well supported to wean and to carefully explore new foods and textures as she gets more confident in her weaning, whilst supporting her safely away from her allergen.
She has been tricky to get to sleep but the baby staff have supported using her sleeping bag, and trying different methods to build her sleep times, giving clear feedback always.

My son has been going to Flying Start at Cornwall College for over 2 years now and he absolutely loves it there! All of the staff are absolutely amazing! They're all so kind and caring and my son has absolutely adored all of the staff and his key workers as he's moved up through the rooms as he's got
older! Could not recommend a better nursery and I will be putting my youngest son there too when he's ready to start!

Our son has the best time at Flying Start Redruth. He has been going since he was 10 months old and is now in the pre school. All of the staff are really fantastic with him. It's clear that he gets lots of outdoor time and he always comes home with lots of interesting stories about his day! The staff
have been so supportive in helping him to try and variety of foods and make friends. We have seen him really grow in confidence and are so thankful to the staff for being part of his journey. We can't recommend Flying Start Redruth enough!

Flying Start have been absolutely amazing with my daughter since she started at just 3 months old. She began by doing half a day a week and now attends full time. The staff have been so caring, supportive, and genuinely interested in her development. It's clear how much she enjoys being there. She looks

My Grandaughter has attended Flying Start Redruth for nearly 3 years and we couldnt be happier. The staff are always welcoming and provide great care and a variety of activities. The handovers are always informative and the EY log really useful and detailed,tailoreded to your child. Regular updates
of learning observations and progress reports keep us updated and are very welcome. Halle and Pippa are worthy of a special mention for their kind, caring attitude. Thank you everyone

Highly Recommend - Caring Staff, Great Routine, Excellent Development!
As a first-time parent, I was anxious about sending my daughter to nursery before her first birthday, but this nursery completely changed my mind. The staff are incredibly friendly and caring, and the day is so well-structured that
children learn routines, enjoy a variety of activities, and thrive socially.
My daughter eats well, tries new foods, and naps much better here than at home. I can genuinely see how nursery is helping her development, especially her social skills.
I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone-and I truly believe starting young is a big benefit. If anything, I wish I'd started her just one day a week during my maternity leave!

My son absolutely LOVES going to Flying Start, Camborne! He has been attending for 21 months and most of the time, he doesn't even look back at me at drop-off and has recently started walking in hand-in-hand with his best friend. This shows how much he enjoys his time there and how comfortable he is.
I am so grateful for the friendly, competent staff who provide such a fun, educational setting which is encouraging my son to learn, socialise and build his confidence. We are so pleased that he has taken to it all so well! The regular updates on the app are lovely to see and reassuring to know he is being well cared for. Well done Flying Start Camborne team!

Absolutely fantastic setting. Always friendly welcoming faces when we turn up each morning. It would be hard to just choose one person to thank because they are all just fantastic! A very well run environment. My daughter absolutely loves it and although she may not speak when she's there through shyness,
she fills me in and tells me all of the stories when I pick her up. She always comes out so happy after a fun-filled day. Thank you team. You're the best!

My son has attended this nursery since he was one and is turning three this week. He has moved through all of the rooms and settled quickly into every one of them, forming lovely relationships with all the staff along the way. The team are incredibly kind, caring and genuinely dedicated to each child's
development. They are always up to date with training, and you can really see this being put into practice across every room. The nursery provides a safe, welcoming and enriching environment, and my son absolutely loves going each day.
They are also fantastic when it comes to nutrition and individual food requirements, including allergies. As my son doesn't eat very much at home, it is really reassuring to know that he is encouraged to eat well at nursery and that his dietary needs are always taken seriously and carefully managed.
It gives me real peace of mind when I'm at work knowing he is so happy, safe and well cared for. I honestly couldn't recommend a better place for him to be.

If I could give this nursery 10 stars I would - they really are absolutely incredible. I have 2 children attending at different ages, and they are both thriving here. The nursery is always clean and tidy, the staff are so friendly and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. They are always comforting
my children where needed, and are happy to work with me and my specific routines at home to make things easier. One of my boys had quite a significant speech delay and I can't even explain how far he has come on since being at this nursery - the effort that the staff put in to help him with this has been incredible. The activities they do are great fun, educational and different every day - the food is also lovely. Their nursery diaries are always updated so I know exactly what's been going on in their day. Thank you guys honestly you're amazing!

My daughter has been at Redruth Flying Start since she was 9 months old, she is now 20 months old and still loves going every day she is in. The staff are kind and caring, and my partner and I feel massively safe and content dropping her off that her needs will be met and the care given, is fantastic.
We have had nothing but positive experiences since she has been at the nursery and would recommend the nursery to anyone who would listen. My partner struggled at first dropping her off but the staff are not only supportive of our daughter but also of us as parents. We cannot speak highly enough of the nursery and are so glad we found them.

My daughter has attended Flying Start @ Redruth for 2-4 days a week since she was one year old, she is now 4 and a half years old and is starting school after the summer. We love Flying Start, especially the outdoor playing area and the staff.
I feel very lucky to have such a fantastic nursery near
to my work. Flying Start is the only reason I didn't transfer to work in another area yet, after we moved house away from this area.

Our daughter absolutely loves attending Flying Start @ Marjon which is such a comforting feeling as parents. She's always so happy going into nursery. We are regularly updated on her progress and the activities she has been doing throughout her days at nursery. We really enjoy seeing all the photo updates
so we are able to incorporate similar activities at home and discuss her days at nursery with her. All the staff are lovely and welcoming and our daughter is always happy to hand over with any of the staff whether it's her key worker or not. Our daughter's key worker as well as everyone else in the baby room are amazing with her and really take time to understand her needs, likes and dislikes. The staff really go above and beyond and we couldn't be happier. We strongly recommend Flying Start Marjons.

I moved my daughter from another nursery/preschool to Flying Start @ Illogan. I was nervous about moving her as she was very settled where she was. I needn't have worried, the staff were all very welcoming and she settled quickly at Flying Start. I love the outside space and the focus on outdoor learning
and being out in nature. They always have the children doing lots of lovely activities and I always look forward to hearing what they are getting up to and seeing pictures via the app. It's reassuring as a parent when my daughter asks to go to preschool, as I know she is happy. I love this nursery. I used here with my daughter and now with my youngest son, I wish we had used it with my oldest son too.
My youngest who currently goes here has been in the baby room and is currently in the toddler room. The staff are amazing! His key workers in the baby room and in the toddler
room have been amazing.
All the staff are great will take the time to listen to you about your child and will support you in every way! Both children who have been here have felt safe.
They have forest school and encourage outdoors as often as they can, my son does cooking which he loves, his speech has come on so much.
They have the best meals and it's cooked in-house which is just awesome!
The best nursery!
