Flying Start @ Redruth

My daughter started at Flying Start @ Redruth in January of last year at the age of one. Within just a couple of weeks she had settled amazingly well thanks to the wonderful staff who have the ability to make the children and their families feel so welcome. Just a few weeks later we were hit with the first lockdown and the scary unknown of Covid-19. Throughout the last year I cannot praise the staff enough for the level of communication, care and support during which was a scary time for all. The procedures they've put in place have felt safe all whilst maintaining a fun environment for the children to learn and play. My daughter skips into nursery and always comes out with a huge smile on her face. Can't recommend this nursery enough.

I feel that the nursery right from the staff in the offices to the carers in the play setting have been so good keeping us informed and updated all the way through from March 2020 to now. They are handling the whole Covid situation.

My son started with a flying start last summer, I was initially worried with the current restrictions that he would struggle to settle without me being able to go in/limitations of dropping him at the gate. The staff have done an amazing job of comforting and reassuring him in this new environment. He loves nursery now and will regularly run through the gate. I feel very certain that he is being cared for and stimulated every time he goes in and I love the regular feedback and photos.

I cannot recommend this nursery enough. My child had a negative experience in her last nursery before we moved, and since coming here, she loves nursery and can't wait to get in! The staff there are amazing, and judging by my child's reaction, she thinks so too. If you want your child to go to an outstanding nursery where they really are looked after and have a fantastic time - choose this one!

I have had my granddaughter full time since she was 11-months-old, she is now 3 1/2. She has been attending Flying Start Redruth since she came to live with me. She has thrived since she has been going and looks forward to it every day. The staff have been amazing with her and also a great support to myself! I can’t speak highly enough of them, and would definitely recommend anyone to send their child there. The activities are great, beach visits, outdoor activities and fun learning. After the virus lockdown, she was off for a long time and really missed it, when I had the opportunity to send her back, I decided to send her. I was a little worried but was reassured that she would be fine. I am so glad that she went back, she loved it and was so happy to have normality back. The staff have been fantastic and have a great system, even in this difficult time. I have no problem is saying that I would highly recommend anyone to send their child there. I can't thank them enough.

They’ve been especially good throughout the whole COVID crisis and I have never once worried about my son while he’s been attending.

My little boy has been attending this nursery since he was six months old - he's now three. He's recently returned following the COVID lockdown and the staff have been amazing. My son was very excited to return, and on any days he struggles with a drop off, the staff are always there to help comfort and reassure him. COVID has been a confusing time for him, and they've made the new rules easy to understand for us, and for him. The staff are also there to give him a cuddle if he needs it. He always comes home excited to tell me what's he's been up to. I would highly recommend this nursery, they've always been fabulous with my son and always go above and beyond to ensure he's happy.

My daughter started a short session once a week at 5 months old and is now 16 months old and loves nursery days. She runs in excited and is highly stimulated and lovingly cared for and is really thriving with the combination of nursery, grandparents and home life. I would recommend this nursery to any parent who is looking to give their child lots of exciting opportunities and wanting their child to develop an understanding of healthier living, where their food comes from and how ingredients make the foods we eat. My little one smells herbs, tries all foods and really enjoys having a go at mixing things altogether, constantly role play cooking and we are encouraged by the nursery to join in too. They are outside lots and even though she is a baby she goes on baby forest school and explores nature.

My daughter came here for 2 amazing years, the way she developed her reading writing was incredible. What I was most impressed by was the way the team helped her develop her social skills. They whole team there were second to none, I really couldn’t recommend a better nursery.

My son goes to Flying Start @ Redruth after school and loves it. He finds all the activities fun and I like that he gets to socialize with children outside of school. He gets on well with all the staff there. I get a detailed account of everything he has been doing when I pick him up and they always ask how he is in the morning if he's there during the holidays. Lovely atmosphere, lovely people.

We continue to be very pleased with our experience of Flying Start. The team are fantastic and setting/atmosphere a relaxed and fun place to be.

My son has attended Flying Start in Redruth since he was nine months old. He is now three and he loves going into nursery. The transition to preschool was handled amazingly. The staff are so friendly and caring. My son has a favourite key worker who he thinks is great. Any concerns are listened too. They go above and beyond to help incorporate home struggles such as troublesome bedtimes into circle time to help the parents. I would highly recommend them.

My son has been attending Flying Start Redruth since July 2017. The manager and her staff are great and my son is super excited to attend nursery each morning. A great place to play and learn. We love that the outside space is really big and that the kids are out and about as much as possible.

Our son is learning and flourishing every week. His social skills grow week by week too.

My daughter loved Flying Start when she attended and all the lovely ladies who worked there. I was happy leaving her there knowing how well looked after she would be. I couldn’t fault them at all.

All in all, lovely expert staff, amazing planned activities to keep little ones engaged and top notch facilities.

Such a wonderful and friendly setting. My daughter settled in instantly. We received great feedback and my daughter's routine was followed brilliantly. She’s thrived from her time here and grown in confidence. Telling me all about the great activities she’s been doing. Especially painting. It’s been amazing to see and put my mind at ease. Absolutely fantastic staff who are all so approachable and really got to know my daughter well. We will be so sad to leave but have such lovely memories to take with us. Thank you all so much for the outstanding care and support you’ve all shown to her. I would highly recommend.

I love this nursery and most of all, my daughter loves going here as well, the staff are always friendly and they are always there to help when you need them. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
