Flying Start @ Redruth

My daughter has attended Flying Start since January 2018 and I could not be happier with how she has settled in. The team are fantastic and she adores every one of them. The activities are widely varied with so many outdoor trips to the beach/forest. Her confidence has increased and she no longer cries when I drop her off as in her previous nursery. A truly fantastic nursery!

My daughter has a dairy intolerance, however, this has never been a problem for any of the staff at the nursery, they make her dairy free meals which gives me peace of mind. She loves going to nursery and talks about the staff at nursery at home. Since attending the nursery her speech has improved vastly thanks to the employees at the nursery. She has built up friendships with the other children at the nursery.

Can honestly say very happy when I drop my granddaughter to the nursery and pick her up and to see her happy to be going, this makes it a whole lot easier to leave her.

Our grandson has been very happy at Flying Start Nursery in Redruth, having started in the Baby Room and now moved up to the bigger room. He enjoys all the activities indoor and out, loves movement and singing and is well stimulated by all the activities provided. Nursery staff were proactive and supportive in helping with potty training. He loves his lunch there and often has second helpings!

Both my children have attended Flying Start since they were babies and I have always been very happy with the care they have received - I would and do recommend the nursery to other parents. My two boys have very different personalities and as such different approaches have been used but equal care has been shown. The brilliant staff at Flying Start have been with us through two lots of settling in, learning to walk and talk and potty training. They have accommodated serious food allergies and fussy phases and helped transition my eldest happily into primary school. He only has happy memories of Flying Start which is why he asks to go back in the holidays - as I’m sure my youngest will too.

I am very impressed with the nursery as they made the settling in process great. My son of 21 months old now waves and says goodbye to me when I drop him off which is a fantastic feeling for a mother who then needs to go off to work. Thank you

Our three-year-old daughter has been going to Flying Start since she was 10 months old and we have all had really good experiences with it. She has been in both the baby room and the pre-school room and really enjoyed both. The layout of the nursery is great with big light rooms and a fantastic outdoor area with lots of green space. The staff are great and our daughter has established very good relationships with her key workers and other members of staff, who are very supportive and encouraging. She learns lots of new things every day and enjoys coming home and telling us all about them! The staff always give us a good summary of what she has been up to each day and we also enjoy getting photos/videos through the e-learning system.

All the staff are so friendly and helpful, they have helped the development of son massively even though he only attends twice a week. He loves being there with his friends and doing all the activities but his favourite thing is the outside area which is a lovely size and has many different areas to hide and play in.

The staff are very friendly and extremely helpful. My little one cries when I drop them off but within minutes they manage to distract him and calm him down. They look at each child and help teach them in areas they feel they need to learn more. I.e. my little one was struggling to share and take it in turns so they helped him in that area. They were very helpful and we discussed if my little one would be ready for potty training yet. My eldest also attended the nursery and even enjoys going back during the school holidays. I haven't got a single complaint about them.

Fantastic Nursery, really well run, lovely staff, happy kids - would recommend to anyone. Both my kids have been there from 9 months until school.

My son had an operation in October and when he came back to the nursery they did everything they could to help him during his recovery period. My son loves this nursery and the colleagues here are the best around.

I have nothing but lovely things to say about the Redruth team the nursery is managed beautifully they have supported my daughters children through various behavioural difficulties and have always gone above and beyond to support the entire family.

My granddaughter has been at this nursery for the last year and I am so pleased with the care she has received! The staff are lovely and always go out of their way to make her feel welcome. My granddaughter has lots of fun, and loves the garden. She is always so keen to go in the morning. My son and daughter-in-law couldn't wish for a better nursery, and are happy their little girl is in good hands!

Our grandson has been attending Flying Start since March 2015. He is well cared for and looked after. There is always lots to do with many varied activities and he loves playing outside when possible. He enjoys all the meals! The staff are lovely - couldn't be more caring, understanding and helpful.

The other had communication difficulties and they do the best they can with him which I know myself how difficult it can be. Always well fed, lots of outside time which they love. He's always one is always walking around singing to himself. Good feedback at the end of the day.

We have been using Redruth Flying Start on and off for the last 6 years I would definitely recommend. They have a great team and work hard to provide care for all in the nursery all of my children's individual needs have always been met!

My son has been attending since January. In the space of 10 months his development has been fantastic. The staff at Flying Start Redruth are amazing. They are polite, friendly, welcoming, understanding, compassionate, re-assuring, helpful.. My list could go on! They thought nothing of helping me potty train my son and were extremely supportive. They're like a little family and my son absolutely loves attending. I recommend them to everyone and wouldn't go anywhere else.

My son has been attending the nursery since he was about 9 months old and now his baby sister attends. Both my children love going to nursery and are excited by seeing certain members of staff. We get regular parents evenings to discuss their progress in their development and feedback after each session is excellent. I highly recommend this nursery because of the high standard of care and it is tailored to each individual child. For example, when my son was gaining a sister, activities were tailored around new babies to get him ready for the new arrival.

My son has only been with this nursery since end of July 2015 and so far I've got no issues with the care they give to him. They care and look after him well and they do lovely activities with them each day he's there so I'm happy.
